You should be able to extract the .tar file to extract the .img files that are in the .tar.

[Completed] Why am I unable to find a zip file in android (from laptop)?

I usually find no problem copying files from android to my laptop like everyone but there's a certain file I am trying to send to my pc but I can't find it in any way in File explorer. It's a zip folder but I usually have no problem finding zip files. What should I do?

[Completed] How to extract script to system/etc/init.d.

Please anyone help I got a script to run and it is in .zip format my friend told that my recovery is not supported he told me install it manually but I don't know how to install it but with Root explorer I have located system/etc/init.d after that in .zip file I have two folders that is meta-inf and system folder so which one I have to extract. Hi, I downloaded the zip folder: sm-t550_p550_p555_cf-autoroot. When I open it there is no .tar file, only cache.img.ext4 and recovery.img. I've rooted many times before and have normally had no issues following the xda links to the .tar files.
Sorry if I'm being a dumbo, help appreciated.

..............The problem is that there are two files in the .tar FOLDER, each file is an .img file. There is no .tar file.

[Completed] help me unpack edit build prop repack system.img

hello please help me.
i have a system,img and i want to unpack it then edit the build.prop to add the line "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0" to enable the software keys then repack it again,.
i unpacked the system.img using ext4 unpacker then open and extract it using ext2explore then located the build.prop then edited it to add the line "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0" then saved it,.
now im stuck because i dont know how to repack it again,. is there a simple procedure for this,.
