Same issue
don't know what happened..may be due to Play music update. mine is 6.1.2116T.2441907 , most probably they screwed something in it.if more ppl are facing same plz rise issue at google product forum.

any other who has a solution?

I think it's the app problem. This setting was "gone" on play music version 6.1.2116T.2441907.
PS: I'm just realized that my comment was out of topic(maybe?), because my device is an Android One with Marshmallow in it, but just curious why this setting was gone.

You're not out of context. Same OS. Same version of the play music app and same problem: No equaliser. Has to be something to do with the app update I suppose.

On stock Android 6.0.1 on my Nexus5, 6.1.2116T.2441907 shows the equalizer settings.
Also, with the same version Play Music app on my stock N6, running 5.1.1, the equalizer settings are available too.
I am a subscriber, in case that matters.

I think the subscription is the reason but now its back

Apollo For Gingerbread

Can anyone point me in the direction of where to get Apollo Music Player for GB? When I look in play store it's not coming up, so the GB compatible version must not have been uploaded to play store. Can someone help me??? Thanks!
Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk 2
if it isnt witch im pretty sure it isnt check out now playing from the play store it supports gingerbread and has a nice google now/jelly bean interface thank me if this helpfull
I found one. If anyone wants it respond to this, and no, it is not the pro version apk. Plus, I already know about Now Playing, and it is a rip off. The app should not cost anything as far as I'm concerned because more than half the app is Apollo, lol, and the developer didn't even try to change anything about it too lol, look at this picture I took a couple weeks ago.

What version of Android / Rom and version of Chrome (Regular or Beta) are you using?
That happens when you rotate a full screen video in the latest version of Chrome. My workaround is to rotate my device before going into full screen, then everything works fine.

HELP! Google Play Services drained 2GB in less than a day!

Google Play Services is killing my data plan. I did some research on the forums and I am assuming this is because I just installed CM and my nexus is trying to download the new 4.4.3 update. What should I do to make it stop? I Read that for some people checking the restrict background data box works but it doesnt for others. Also read about an app called DisableServices but also came across mixed results.
Can anybody help me?

I though this was fixed in their latest builds? Which build are you on?
I thought so too. But apparently is trying to download. I was on 4.4.2 and then installed cyanogenmod 11

Install this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cn.wq.disableservice
Go to System apps, google services and then disable "SystemUpdateService". This should fix it afaik,
Seems like the issue where the phone keeps downloading 4.4.3 over and over.

Androids built in lost phone finder?

Android device manager?
Where do i find it in the menus? Either I've totally lost the plot or I've lost it. Lol

That's the app. And you may be able to find it under Security. I don't use it anymore so I can't remember, I use Cerebrus.
Seeing a stupid comment on Google Play about an app you love and marking it as "spam". You've done it too.
Thanks, it weirdly says install on the play store but in my device manager settings i have this option -

It's not in the settings menu. It's in the app drawer as Device Manager.

Go into Google Settings > Android Device Manager. The app you see in the Play Store is the manager you use when the device is lost, like what you get when you use it on a desktop. The actual thing is part of Google Services.
Yea i get it now. Lol

Sprint app removal

Okay, so I installed the Sprint Zone app because I actually use it and find it functional. However, with the latest update it also installed sprint fun & games. Something I don't want. I searched for the file using root explored and also checked the system app file and data app file. I can't find it anywhere to rename it bak. Anyone have any luck finding it?

After I saw this thread yesterday I looked around for it too. Seems they are linked somehow, but this is what I saw under app info, at the very bottom.
Both are the same app you need to uninstall the update

I went a head and uninstalled the update. After I did that the app forced closed and wouldnt function properly. The only way to get it to work as before was to update it. I went through the app file and found the fun and games and seen the launch was set to 1. I wonder if changing that to 0 would mess with the Sprint Zone app? Now I just need to find an editor.
