hi guys im confused with this quickcharging feature on the note 4, sorry if i have a lot of questions. i obviously have a note 4 charger from buying one. What part exactly does the quick-charging? the cable or is it the adapter that connects to a plug outlet?
Where can i find a spare OEM note 4 charger ? the note 4 charger has 2 little lines on the end of the micro-usb cable and i think thats new for the NOTE 4 charger.
Any samsung/anyother brand that supports this feature as well with a car charger?

Stock charger has 5v 2a and 9v 1.65a outputs. This is called adaptive charging. You can buy oem chargers, but it's best to buy some of the better ones off the net here are some i found people qre happy with one wall and one car usb chsrgers. ie....

So I bought the USB 2.0 A to C iOrange-E 6.6 Ft (2M) Braided Cable on Amazon just now and realized that I still need a type A wall plug that is 3A rated so I can get fast charge. In wake of the Benson reviews I have no idea what wall piece I should be using.
Any help??
It doesn't exist. Currently only C to C cables can support 3 amps.
I've got a 2.4A 4 port USB A charger from mPow I've been using for about a year, folding plug, very nice, seems to charge everything quickly. I'm charging my new RavPower battery with it now. When my 6P shows up next week I'll give it a shot with my new iOrange cable. I highly recommend this charger as a travel charger though, been magical.
I should note, it does say 5V 5A on it.

OK, LG G5 finally was released. Supports quick charge 3.0 and comes with type-c port. Pretty sweet! I had posted a list about the Best Quick Charge 3.0 Chargers from the Famous Accessories Brands on S7 forum. (click here) Sadly S7 doesn't use the type-c port. I decided to buy the LG G5. :highfive:

Hi Everyone, I can't wait for the G5, the modular design looks really intriguing, with that being said, I got the http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AAHT62A?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00 in anticipation of the Lg G5, but I have used it on other Quick Charge 2.0 Devices and it is awesome! Smaller and lighter than I expected and the actual battery pack charges fast with a quick charge plug! It is a nice portable pack for anyone looking into buying it!

Nice to see an external pack with quickcharge built in. My solar battery pack probably doesn't have that, but it'll do for now.

My question is will the stock out of box G5 charger cable work between the phone and my laptop. I've been reading stuff about a 75 resistor and I'm confused.
I also thought the stock charger was in fact a QC 3.0 charger.

Stock cable works fine with my laptop. As far as the stock charger, it is QC 2.0 not 3.0. Not sure why LG did that.

So you can transfer files, photos etc to/from the G5/laptop with no issues with stock cable? I thought the cable had to have some type of 75 ohm or something resistor in it so that it does not mess up the computer and its USB port?
I just do backup on my pc lg bridge with stock cable

QC 3.0 will not work with the 6P. You'll need a charger that accepts USB C on the adapter end to gain the full advantages of 5v/3a charging that the 6P takes. Example would be the Choetech USB C charger or the Tronsmart USB C charger.
So, when it is about charging, this Galaxy S21+ (Exynos) can be really choosy. With a lot of chargers, it difficulty reach 1.3A. Only few of the selected chargers (my Lenovo 65Watt laptop charger, IKEA 27Watt charger) it could reach 2A charging with wired. For wireless charging, it's even worse. Currently I owned 3 wireless chargers.
1. Energizer 15Watt charger. Never even shows Fast Wireless Charging.
2. Samsung EB-U1200 Wireless Charging Power Bank. This one shows Fast Wireless charging. It could charge up to 2A for a while and then once the battery temp hits about 39C (and it hits there within 5 mins), it throttles.
3. Huawei SuperCharge 27Watt Wireless Charger (with Huawei 22.5Watt SuperCharge Charger and 5A cable), performs same as Samsung Power Bank. Reaches up to 2A, then battery heats up and throttles.
I've tried different ways, including removing the phone case while charging but result is still the same. Does any of you have similar experience? or is it just my phone? Please advise me how to make wireless charging more efficient.
I've not tried wireless charging however for wired you need a charger that supports USB C PD PPS (this is a fairly new standard) and without this you won't get anything more than about 2A.
