[Q] can't unlock the screen with a current correct Google account

Hello.
My phone is Galaxy Nexus.
I locked screen with pattern, then i try to unlock with wrong patterns, as a result my phone ask me to unlocked it with Google account, then i had try many times, but fails.
But I PROMISE WHAT I INPUTED IS CORRECT. It's because after i flash my phone into 4.0.4 with nexus factory image, I added this account to my phone, and i haven't change passwd since then.
Information inside the phone is important to me, I want to know how to unlock screen, or how to backup my infomation.
Are you sure this is actually your phone?

Sold phone but now its locked by android security

Hi @ all,
i have a problem i sold the XT1541. Had used it before with my google account for testing purposes. Before i sold it i forgot do DELETE the account from the phone and just did a factory reset via recovery.
The customer now cannot log in with his account. Is there anything i can do to help him - would not like to give him my account infos. Any input would be reakky helpful.
I did not know about this new feature....
simple (easy): Just go to your customer and log in for him and delete your account
harder (risky): flash the stock firmware
Try factory reset via recovery
Well the customer is 500km away. So its not an Option to visit him. How could a second factory reset via recovery help in this case? The device is still bootloader locked. Can he install the stock Rom without loosing the motorola warranty? I could assist him via teamviewer. But he does not want to loose the full warranty.

Delete all your info off your Google account(credit cards, Google+, etc) and give him the password and Google email so he can bypass then have him delete it in settings.
Or return the phone and give him his money back.
To my knowledge you can install stock firmware without unlocking your bootloader, also in my post above a i meant via the bootloader menu.
I hope another member can confim whether you can factory reset via the bootloader menu
Yup! Stock recovery has this feature!

How to fool Googles Security on a used bought Moto G?

Hi guys, i hope you can help me out here.
a Friend of mine is a taxi driver and had a guest who forgot his money and paid with his Moto G 2015 8GB.
As a friend of good deals, my friend now wants his father to use this Smartphone since it offers enough for his needs.
I already set it up from the scratch, but google now wants me to login with the first account data from the previous owner, which im afraid-, we wont be able to obtain any more.
Id install Cyanogenmod without Gapps to ignore the Google Questioning, but i need to check the "Oem bootloader unlock" option, which i cant, cause i cant setup the smartphone any more.
I hope anyone of you can help me? The Phone it not stolen, so as far as it is possible, please help me!

Goto stock recovery and using vol.down+power key u will be in fast boot mode using vol down chose recovery mode and press power key to enter into stock recovery. If u see a dead android just press power key first and holding it press vol. Up then just scroll down to factory data reset and now every g account will remove. Now set it up
A factory reset will probably not help. Moto G implements the new Factory Reset Protection feature which Google did introduce with Android 5.1. This check for the password of the last Google account registered on the device will survive a factory reset.
To my knowledge there is a way to circumvent the Factory Reset Protection on some Samsung devices due to a faulty implementation by Samsung (this was in the news a few days ago).
But this will probably not help with the Moto G.
Just reflash the stock firmware and you will be good I hope
You can't do anything with stock firmware, you can't unlock bootloader. The new system protection is exactly for that purpose. If your reflash the firmware via fastboot, at first boot prompts you to login with any google account used before in the phone.
The only way to revert the locked status is login with google asociated account and wipe from the settings menu once the phone has been unlocked.
i tried the stock firmware reflash as well.
you so are telling me there is no way to get a working firmware on this phone without going actualy in the developer options and activate bootloader thingie?
i mean google did a good job on that part. Still sucks though, but thanks for the answer

Yes, you have no option. To unlock bootloader you need to turn on the oem unlock permission in settings and actually you can't enter in that setting.

When you reflash the stock firmware via fastboot it clear all data & cache. When boots with clean system it prompts again to activate the phone.
For one side is nice to see that this works... Too bad for you... I guess you already googled it right?

Security and custom ROM

hi
two security features are keeping me away from a custom rom, i'd like your opinion about that.
First is the password that prevent booting with a password.
Second is, if someone install a new system it can't be used without providing the correct google accout and password.
I use those two protection on my phone.
I was wondering if they can be bypassed?
If he install a twrp boot then he erase the password boot protection?
Then he can install a custom ROM that will not be "locked" until he give the proper google account ?
Thanks.

google lock

Hello. I have a samsung galaxy j3 2016 device in my hand. Google play account forgotten.
I reset it with factory reset. Now the device does not turn on, because of the google account.
How can we open the device with custom rom or original rom?
Reset your Google account password on different phone or device like a computer.
If you also forgot the username for your Google account, go to https://accounts.google.com/signin/usernamerecovery?hl=en. Just like in resetting your Google password, you’ll need to enter the recovery email of your forgotten account.
Once you’ve done any of the two procedures above, try to do FRP unlock again using the new password.
If there’s no way to unlock FRP using the first method, then the best shot for you is to let someone flash the system software in order to bypass Google Account Verification FRP.

If ADB got sucessfully enabled on phone then you can bypass the FRP-lock via ADB:
