Actually, there is no way to get the ar emojis on s8? Even with a custom rom?

Notifications keep waking up the screen

Hello,
I have a small problem with my pixel 3. Since the update to Android 11 every notifications keep waking up the screen of my phone even tho the setting for it is disabled. (In settings, display, when to show, wake screen for notifications is off) Is there a fix for it ?
