Hey Guys,
I've been searching far and wide on the net, and i have serious problems with my S5690. The syndroms are that it reboots unprovoked, and it seriously P***** me off.
So i'm searching a clean Custom Rom based on Gingerbread, isn't there any out there, or someone has something I can do to gid rit of the problem??
The phone is rooted and that worked like a Charm, and i have uninstalled the Stock apps from Samsung, but the device still reboots at times??
Some days even 3-4 times!? :S
My Carrier is the danish Cellular carrier 3, and I have spoken with them, but the problem isn't from their side but Samsung that has messed something up with the stock ROM. I've been reading myself towards some sweedish sites that are experiencing same syndroms.
I really hope someone can help. :-(

My S5960 reboots too.
Super user doesn't work for my device to root it, what app did you used to root it?

Hey, I used a rooting tool from another thread here on xda and then I used the app superuser too administrate the apps which needs permissions.
Then too freeze and uninstall apps I used an app from market called app freezer.. Worked like a charm.. Working on a custom firmware too but I only just started..

So you did manage to root and run a custom rom? I would like to have something like cyanogen mod. My previous phone (htc hero) could be rooted only using super user.
Can you tell me how to start? and how is your Samsung gt-s5960 working at this moment?

No I haven't been able to find a custom rom. ;-)
But I have rooted the phone and it works perfectly, and without reboots since I uninstaled the stock apps.
Take the link I posted and then find the rooting file, and and place it on the root of the phone memory then reboot to recovery mode and apply manual update from sd.. Then after it installs reboot and then you have root permission.. ;-)

Hi all im new here, but i read your thread about GT-S5690. I cant find any stock rom that it will accept? My phone is ROOTED but I cant read MMS directly and Music wont play from folders. I could be missing some APKs I know that.
I would like to RE-install original rom, and I CAN NOT do a reset tried that 100 times and the same broken rom installs then.?

Having a problem with my samsung galaxy xcover, my signal keeps dropping and going to emergency calls only, I have to turn it off and back on to get signal...

I have a different problem with my S5690. When trying to install another camera app, it's stuck in negative mode and no normal model available!
I've tried ProCapture, which work with normal colors on first launch, then stuck on negative. (removing data / cache from app makes another first launch in colors?
Also tried Camera Ics+ which is just stuck on negative?
Anyone experienced this or know a workaround for this?

Hello, im Galaxy3HELL and im need help with my new rom,im belive this will be best rom for Galaxy 3, but im need some expert help, which im dont know how to solve..
1.When my new rom is booting, boot animation blinking white,al over and over, but rom boost and working very nice, smooth,blazing fast!Just need help! Rom is ported!
2.Its wont save any app what im install or update, nothing,, im just have installed few things on phone, restarted phone, and all app was gone! and update files of rom!
Room will be good, its in early faze of developering, week or two it will be out!

1) Make smaller bootanimation. Our G3 is not an SIII
2) Try to format data and cache to different filesystem like rfs(bulletproof I think but it depends in base ROM) or ext2-4

I just bought note 4 SM-N910F and i came unrooted with vision-x n4 ROM. The problem with rom is that the finger print does not work and there iss no data usage. However i foud how via kies i can have stock ROM. I realy need it to change it back to stock before I install apps (as changing rom all data is deleted). However when i boot(from the first time) on the upper of the screen there is written :

Kies will not work for a modified device. You need to flash the stock rom with Odin. This thread has some info you can read through, including where to find stock firmware...

Hi, Can Anyone Help me? My Samsung galaxy Core 2 have been BootLoop and no CWM, Only Recovery Mode. So I Try to Download The Stock Rom , But It's not Working, It will Install it and then The No Command Just Appear.. I think I Need CWM To Install a ROM, But I Can't Install it, It's Stuck In Bootloop, I Just want to ask something, Do you think It will work Even If i Just Plug my Samsung Galaxy Core 2 into the Pc Then Try the Odin? .. Hi guys.. so i have a gt i9505 s4 an the problem is that my back and menu touchkeys wont work. They dont even light up . The only way i can get it to work is when i flash cyanogenmod rom . Then everything works just fine. But with stock rom nothing works.. i have flashed lots of stocks from different regions.. even its own region but no luck. Im currently using lollipop on it with assistive menu.. please guys.. help me out here
