Hi mods/admins,
I need help in recovering my old senior member account under username: sky770
I am accessing XDA from an account created around same time when I lost access/trying to post a reply from the account mentioned above^ (this might serve as a proof of authenticity).
I will send concerned details (also sent to pulser_g2 dev admin of xda (http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=2178960) via PM ) in a PM if asked for.
Kindly help me as the password assistance web-form on the contact page doesn't work to post any messages to the backend team.
Thanks a ton!
Regards,
sky770
just an update:
in talks with Mike/pulser_g2/the_scotsman
Hoping to return on to the xda-dev scene with a OPX in hand
Thanks Mike and the team!
I owe you a lot! How about a guinness/corona ?

Sorry, I had missed subscribing to this thread. It is not open at the moment, but here is the forum announcement for becoming a moderator. Becoming a recognized contributor first is helpful, check here for more information on that. Writing guide threads is the best way to get there.
Thank you,

Hey everyone.
Long time reader, first time poster.
I was wondering if there is a minimum number of posts before being able to reply to certain thread? I'm looking to reply in a custom ROM thread but I can't seem to be able to post/reply.
Also, thank you to everyone in the XDA community. This forum saved my butt several times and I can't say thank you enough.
Cheers!

If that did not work, I think this would require manual activation. I will ping the Admin.

I activated the ivankol account, but it's not a new one it was created in 2008! If it's not yours you'll need to create a new account with a new name.

Hello. Since you are not a registered member, it's impossible to know which thread you are referencing (all unregistered posters in Assist show as "XDA Visitor"). Please provide a link to the thread in question so we can take a closer look.
Also, the policy for the free XDA Assist service is to provide a reply and then wait for follow up from the original poster. If there is no follow up after a certain amount of time, we assume that the original poster has lost interest or found their answer elsewhere and so the thread is closed.
The goal of XDA Assist is to encourage guests to join our community by becoming a member of the site and to help point people in the right direction to finding their own answers on the site. Questions are not typically answered directly.
So, to further investigate your complaint, we will need a link to the thread in question.
Thanks,

Hi,
While we try that such situations do not arise, but as plain and simple as it may sound - we are not Customer Services for devices. This is XDA and the main purpose of the Assist team is to help you in the right direction. No one is obligated to do so.
If you are all so concerned about your question not answered, do us all a favour and have yourself registered on XDA and then post the question so there is a record.
I will not allow you to take pot shots at our team hiding behind the Guest account.
Feel free to PM me your grievance, but again, please note that this is not a place you can come and have everything on a silver platter - though the Assist team almost does that for y'all.
This thread has been closed, with a warning to you that if another thread on similar lines are opened we will take further action. We expect you to take anything of such nature over PM.
Thanks

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
Other members cannot reply to your posts here on XDA Assist and it's unclear to which contest you refer. I see a number of references to "oneplus 2 invite" from a site search at http://forum.xda-developers.com/sitesearch.php?q=oneplus 2 invite and I suggest you post in the thread in that list that seems to match the contest you have in mind, if any. If you can't find a suitable thread, you may have to directly contact whoever told you that you won, sorry.
Good luck!

Hello again.
As the announcement suggests, you may want to wait a little bit for any email to reach you. Make sure you have checked you "spam" folder, of course. Alternatively, you could leave a comment under the announcement , contact the author directly, or even ask in the Oneplus 2 forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2.
