If you're rooted than install xposed framework and use minmin guard module

lol i meant adaway, was looking at my pc and said the wrong thing.
i never used minmin, but adaway has always blocked everything for me, and gets updated regularly.
exposed isnt as simple to install as it used to be, and personally i wouldnt put it on just to block ads.

Minmin also works very well.... It takes the ads to an extinction on your phone

[Q] Ad Blocking

I'm used to Cyanogenmod where there is no issue running ad blocking apps.
Currently running skyfall and ads aren't blocked an no apps do the trick.
How do I get ads blocked?
I'm s-off, Rooted, etc through firewater

Download the disable ad blocking file from skyfall's rom page (skyfall comes with adblocking)
Google "adaway apk" and install adaway. Works MUCH BETTER!.

I read disable ad blocking to mean turn off ad blocking as if it were enabled by debut in the ROM...
Just looked at hosts in that zip and it's just a one line localhost file...meaning I was right, that's intended to turn off ad blocking. The hosts in the ROM is intended to block ads.
I guess my problem is that ads are not blocked in Chrome browser.

Under adons on skyfall's page have you downloaded the disable ad blocking? You need to disable ad blocking first. Then install angry birds or something with a ad. You should see it now that theres no adblocking on the rom.
Then, download adaway run it and restart. see if u still have adds.
Second suggestion for that. If you look at the hosts file in that zip, it's empty. Am I missing something? That is to disable, as in turn off ad blocking, as in enable ads.
Just want ads blocked in Chrome.

I think everyone is missing the point of this thread. The usual apps install a hosts, but the hosts files is not blocking ads on skyfall, and I assume all sense ROMs.
Any idea why?
Use adfree is not an answer.

No problem. When I installed I did do a clean wipe. If that doesn't help, might try asking the Dev of the rom about it.
I like removing ads myself but apps like Weatherbug that show random ads at the bottom of the app screen although the ads don't show the spot is blank and eats up space that could show app stuff. In other words why bother.
But on another note I found adaway works best.

Just trying to get this straight! (Since I am unable to post in the development forum I am doing it here). I am running Bone Stock ROM. He says the ROM has adblocking, which some seem to be blocked. Adaway (which i used on my Gal Nexus CM phone previously) is also installed on the ROM. How come when I use AdAway on the ROM and before i put the ROM on my phone when i got to add/update the host files it always fails? What is happening since everybody seems to be getting adblocking to work?

If you have Wanam installed , go to security hacks and check " disable secure storage " , this might work. Also try to clear cache . I'm rooted and S-Health is ok for me.
Cheers

Enable every App for Multiwindow on S7 Edge (xposed needed)

Hello guys,
just for the ones that are interested, that the App from here ( [Xposed] Multiwindow Apps Manager ) can enable every installed app for multi window.
It needs xposed! Tried with framework 80.0 and xposed app 3.0 alpha4. S7 Edge SM-G935F, germany.
MfG: Specktäter
Did you run into any problems on the S7 Edge with XPosed?
No problems until now

Which version of framework 80.0?
Compatible Xposed for S7 Edge is the Modded version by Wanam.
Correct Variant is ARM64 / SDK 23 (v80)

Dear Specktäter,
I'm very interested in this theme, I used this function on my note 4 on every day.
I try now one s7 edge and unfortunately I can not use this on that.
I have one S7 Edge SM-G935F international version with stock rom.
I tried with actual framework v84.0 and xposed app 3.0 alpha4.
Maybe I make it something wrong, because I was checked all programs in the MW Apps Manager, but I can't use all program in multi window mode.
Please help to me.

Try to disable the missing Apps, reboot (not from the MW Apps Manager but the Power menu from your phone), enable the missing Apps and reboot again. I have installed some apps after MW Apps Manager, they was checked but did not show in the Multiwindow Chooser. After disable and enable they showed up.
Good luck!

I installed a custom superman-rom, and there are enabled all program's in multiwindow mode
Multi-Window
To get all apps working in multi-window does not require xposed framework or any of it's modules.
Just about every S7 Edge custom rom already has the "all apps in multi-window" feature built into it.
Check it out!
Good luck,
Have a great day!
worked perfectly .. thank you very much

Theme Service Killer for Samsung (Support Thread)

We have REMOVED THE THEME KILLER as of the latest sungstratum update, as we have moved it to a separate package!
This will be the official support thread for anything related to the app!
For free, available here! <Mod Edit> Link removed
This is now universal, but EVERYONE will need their ELM keys, rather than KLM keys, from now on!

Do you have any questionable apps installed on your device? ie: Licenced apps that you didn't pay for... If you do - Uninstall them - Reboot and you shouldn't have a problem anymore.

I wasn't accusing you - I was asking - It's happened more frequently than one might think - A user has an issue with an app and it turns out that they had an app designed to circumvent paying for it installed on their device ?

I use **hell2 as a package disabler. So I'm not sure it's a good ideal to have BK as well. Plus theme killer is a way easier process. Hopefully @nicholaschum will fix this permissions error. It was working so beautifully when it was packaged with the integration key app.
