[Completed] Noob Using LG G PRO E980

I am receiving an E980 today, new, AT&T version, unlocked. Since I am a NOOB at Root and Flash, I hope you can point me in the direction for my updating. I have been an Iphone Jailbreaker for the last 3 versions of iphone, so I understand following the corrrect procedures in the correct order.
I started out using Google to get an idea about rooting and flashing, but there is so much info and not everybody shows all the steps to accomplish what I want to do. I am looking to place my contacts which are in a saved vcards file on my desktop. (And I guess that is one of the first things I am supposed to do.) But, just as important, I want to Backup my entire system before making any changes, ROOT my LG PRO G to gain access and FLASH with most current ROM for KitKat,

[Completed] How to install ClockWorkMod on Unsupported Devices such as LG G3 Stylus

Hello,
I am having a problem installing ClockWorkMod onto my phone,
I have a LG G3 Stylus (LG-D690) urooted phone (I can root it if necessary, using Kingroot because it's easy and most tools just don't work on this phone), it's running KitKat 4.4.2 (I can upgrade it to Lollipop if necessary).
If anyone knows how to install CWM on G3 Stylus or unsupported phones, please let me know, and please use simple words and structured detailed explanation because I am a newbie.
Thank You.

Hello,
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
Unfortunately there's no custom recovery avaiable for your device. You'll have to wait till a developer picks up your phone.
