stock system.img - HTC One A9

Would someone with adb experience output the following directories to a text file and post to pastebin or something
I need to check permissions and look for missing apps/directories.
ls -ZR /system/app
ls -ZR /system/priv-app
I think something is either missing or permission is not correct. couple of system apps have vanished.

I'm on the US unlocked version
Feel free to repost, use. etc. as desired...

Thanks,
Can't figure what the issue was, so flashed a stock system image which fixed it
For some reason a couple of system apps were giving app not installed error messages when attempting to run, despite being present in priv-app. Guessing permissions got a little screwed somewhere.

You can try to port a ROM from another MT6572 device. It's easy and it works.

Hi,
Since that's a system app, you need to set a proper permission after pushing.

how to retrieve build options of a specific rooted ROM

dear all
can you help me to find the related config.gz of a specific ROM if it is not available on /proc/config.gz?
i'd like to build a module for a specific hardware, but i don't know how this ROM was built.
the tablet is a p706 and is running
[email protected]_sd:/ # cat /proc/version
Linux version 3.4.0+ ([email protected]) (gcc version 4.6.1 (Sourcery CodeBench Lite 2011.09-70) ) #301 SMP PREEMPT Wed Dec 3 09:17:11 CST 2014
(Android/Demo_7021a-userdebug 4.4.2 KOT49H eng.root.20140929.140049 release-keys)
Do you know how to retrieve additional infos, from the rooted device or from the web?
Thanks

Hi,
If the kernel wasn't built with that option enabled (I'm sure it wasn't), you can't retrieve the stock defconfig with cat proc/config.gz option.
So, you will likely have to find the kernel sources for your device instead. It should have defconfig for your device.
