After installing new rom, phone is upside down - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I recently flashed back to n0t3 rom, and now my s6 is totally crazy.
When I want to open WhatsApp on the left side on the App Bar, the phone open Facebook on the right side.
That means, if I press an App which is on the left side, a App opens that is on the right side.
<i have done already an wipe, but problem is still there...

Change your kernel, and take one for your s6, it did it to me, when i tried some t mobile kernel for my internationl s6 edge

[Q] Problem memory apps sgs

Hello,
I have the next problem:
When i'm scrolling down in an app like applanet, market or another app, and then click an app, and next go back to the list, my phone loads the list again and starts at the top of the list.
So it doesn't remember where I was. It's not just with scrolling down a list, also with other apps when i press the back button it just starts reloading the screen before and forgets where i was.
I also have a stock sgs here and that DOES remember these things.
Does anyone know a solution or where the problem could be?
Ps. I am on darky's rom and speedmod kernel 13a

Newly downloaded apps installing strangely

Okay this is a strange problem I am having. After a newly downloaded app from the Play Store completes the install, my phone automatically slides over to the Google Now page to the left of the main home screen. And then, after I reboot my phone, the new app/s that I have downloaded show up on a new home page to the right of the last filled home page.
This is in contrast to how my Galaxy S4 did things. After a new app installed on my S4, the phone would automatically slide over to the new home page (assuming my other pages are full) and would automatically place the new apps there.
SO I guess my question is, is this supposed to be happening? It seems odd that it is automatically bringing me to the Google Now page and not placing the app icon on my home pages until after I restart my phone.
I hope this question makes sense to someone. Thank you.

[Q] Top portion of display touch issues. ATT G2, 4.4.2

Hello all,
Been a long time lurker, figured it was time to join.
I'm having an issue with my AT&T G2. It is currently running the Sonic Open Kang 4.4.2 ROM. Before it was running the stock 4.4.2 build.
I've noticed this issue ever since I went to 4.4.2, my touch screen has been acting very flaky on the top portion. Half the time, I try to pull down notifications and it begins to pull down but then glitches back up. I'll have to swipe it 3-4 times to get it. Also, when installing an app, click "Install" on the app page doesn't register most of the time, I have to back out to the list of apps, hit the three dot icon next to it and click install that way. Also, click the top links on Google & other sites causes an issue sometime as well.
I'm thinking this is a 4.4.2 issue, but just wanted to confirm. I've searched around on Google and here but found nothing at all. I can always go back down to 4.2.2 to verify but wanted to see if anyone has had these issues before, or if there are suggestions.
I was also thinking that it could be my screen protector, but I had no issues previously and it's still relatively new.
Thanks in advance!

have you dropped your phone recently? does everything display properly?.. try opening quick memo and drawing over the screen
Sonic Open Kang is an AOSP type ROM so he won't have quick memo to test. Install a stock ROM and see if it makes a difference. Also how does the screen respond in your custom recovery (TWRP, PhilZ, etc)? If it does it in recovery, it could be hardware or your screen protector. If it works fine in recovery, it's a ROM problem.

Strange moto G3 touchscreen response problem

Hi all, I did a search with no luck, so hopefully this is a valid question!
I have a weird problem with my moto G3 2015 and was hoping you guys wouldn't mind reading about and possibly offering some kind of advice if it's not too much trouble.
Every so often, I'd say at least once a day, the screen becomes unusable until I press the power button a couple of times (to turn the screen off and on again). Even when I do this quick fix, the problem comes back very shortly afterwards. It only goes away after 10 minutes or so, or if I get annoyed and put my phone away. I thought this was a hardware issue but don't believe that now due to the following:
1. It is a different problem depending on the app I am using. In facebook, scrolling is no longer smooth, and doesn't continue scrolling if I flick down the feed. It only scrolls down while my finger is actually on the screen. I am also unable to actually 'click' on anything, only scroll. In Brave (my browser) it acts as if I've just double tapped the screen, as in if I move my finger down it zooms in, and if up then it zooms out. In snapchat when watching a friend's story it acts as if I've held down on the screen in order to forward their snap to somebody else, and then it doesn't respond at all to any touch.
2. The 3 buttons at the bottom are always functional no matter what
3. If the problem begins when I'm in an app, if I go to my home screen, I am able to navigate my home screen and app drawer with no problems. It's as if the problem is contained within the apps.
This started a few months ago while I was running the copy of android that the phone came with. I put on lineage OS (lineage-14.1-20170629-nightly-osprey-signed) and pico gapps (open_gapps-arm-7.1-pico-20170629). This seemed to fix the problem for a while but then it started again a week or so in.
The fact that the problem is only happening while I am in the apps, and disappears when I exit out of them makes me think it can't be a hardware issue? I am also no expert with phones or android, but am somewhat experienced in rooting and playing with settings etc. (I'm not sure if it happens in other apps I'm afraid, I can test if need be next time it happens).
Thanks so much for any help, and please let me know if there is any more info I can give you!
P.s. The new ROM is much better than the old one.! The battery definitely drains faster though, but that's a whole other problem

That is actually typical behavior on older devices using as many social media apps as you're using. Especially Facebook and Messenger if you're also using it.
Have you tried booting to recovery and wiping cache when this happens?

Thanks for replying!
When I flashed lineage OS I believe I wiped the cache. I will do it again though to see if it helps.

Yeah, you wipe cache when you flashed, or at least you should have.

Hi there
If the issue was software related, a change of rom should have solved it.
If the issue is kernel related, all users must face the same issue...but that is still not the case.
So This might be an issue with the screen being old. When the power consumption fluctuates, lcd screens can misbehave.

Strange empty (black) pop up

Hi everyone. Recently I have been experiencing random pop ups. Either during normal usage of phone, or after unlocking. The pop up is black screen with x in left upper corner. It looks like an empty add. Looking at the recent app list it shows as camera app. The icon is different than the regular camera icon. It doesn't show in processes, at least not named as camera. Screenshots included. I don't have any additional camera apps installed, just the stock camera app.
Phone is Samsung J5 2017.
Android 8.1
What do you guys think? What could this possibly be? Malware? I did couple of scans with antimalware software, nothing found. Please any suggestions.

Yeah, that's definitely a malware. And it's inside the other camera app you didn't installed yourself (I suppose it's the one with the "Kamera" name)
What you can do is go to settings, then apps (or whatever it's called) and search for the camera app you didn't installed.
Click on it and try to uninstall it. I you can't then factory reset your phone to get rid of that (make sure you backup your data)
I'm not a pro when it comes to erasing malwares, but that how I do and in most of the case it works.
I advice you to factory reset your phone even if you uninstalled the weird camera app.
