I want to get a cardboard, but I see there's a few different ones and don't know which is ideal, made or the best for the 6P.
I have the "Unofficial Cardboard 2.0" and it works great, and you can get a headstrap with it as well!

I have this one. It fits fine even with the SUPcase on it. The only issue I found out is that I needed to move the magnet to make it work properly. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XJF392O?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00

How are these with having say a skin or case attached to the device?
So, what's the benefit of having this?

It does not really fit the original cardboard. Can't say for the others as that is the only version I own.

Not sure. I have skins on the way, so I can test out after they arrive. It works with little microsuction pads, so as long as it's not a oddly textured skin I'm sure it'll still work fine.

Thank you.
I have a Knoxlabs cardboard 2.0 and the Nexus 6p fits and works fine, although supposedly the Knoxlabs "NEXT" is better for the larger phones.
I wrote a review for a shinecon vr headset in this forum. I'm too lazy to find it, but I love it. FOV is great and the build quality is super nice. Tight fit for the 6p with just a skin though.

Depends what kind of content you want. If you go to YouTube and just type in 360 video, you'll find a lot of vr compatible videos. There's a small collection of games also, but I'm sure more are to come. InMind VR is a nice and simple game. VRSE is a nice app for some artistic style vr videos.
As far as making your own content, you can shoot a regular video and view it inside your vr headset in theatre style, but it won't support 360* motion tracking, obviously. Head tracking videos require special camera set ups that have multiple cameras shooting simultaneously

I just picked up Verizon's Star Wars themed Google Cardboard. Works great, well, as great as Google Cardboard can be. No issues fitting the Nexus 6P or usage.
FYI, Google just released "Cardboard Camera" for taking 360° pictures with your phone for use with cardboard.

this would be cool, but damn does that thing look ugly! looks cheaply made for $100.
5000mah is way too overkill for a extended battery case, that thing looks like a paving brick and probably weight as much. 1500 to 2500mah would be more than enough to keep size and price down.
Holy guacamole that's big.
Wow that is one big case. The ugly factor will keep me away from this thing.

This,
Thread Closed.
Bought this leather pouch from eBay for Galaxy Tab 7.7 long ago, when I use to have 7.7. Yesterday when I received my Galaxy Note 8.0, I suddenly remembered about this old pouch. I am good in keeping stuff safe even if I am not using it. I found it after a little struggle, and straight took it to cobbler to modify it, I asked him to stich a little piece of additional Leather so my belt can go in it. It worked, a little weird, but innovative and easy to carry believe me.

I really wanna do this, but its borderline acceptable. I have many bankers, reporters etc ask me about my note (s), so I am really an ambassador, need to look sharp!

Well using horizintally is not a great idea, i tried its doesnt look good, keep it vertical and also pls dont stich the belt clipping leather exact in the middle of the poch, atleast leave 2 quarter of the pouch below the belt. Check the image

The idea to cut out the pages of a notebook is brilliant. That is seriously my single favorite case I have seen thus far. Do you use any velcro or anything like that to keep the Note from sliding out, or to keep the cover in place or any other unforeseen travesty that I cannot think of currently?

The planner cover has elastic strings along its interior vertical spine. You slide the back cover of the "notebook" to be attached to the planner cover.
Just in luck that the planner cover is exact and I managed to find a notebook that was only 5mm taller than the Note 8, with a width of 10mm wider. I'm waiting on this heavy casing to integrate to a new hiding cover design in working on:
Here's a review of it:
http://galaxynote8accessories.com/poetic-revolution-for-galaxy-note-8/
Still waiting for it in local market.
I found the perfect cover and plan to bond paper into a book for it.
I have seen a lot of nice folio covers for the Note 8, but I use what I made as this is more secure as it's inconspicuous.

Hey Zach, thanks for the review.
I have a tech armor glass screen protector, will the case interfere with screen protectors?
Before I start I have to say I tried to make this as "HR" appropriate as possible. I just think this might be a problem. I have noticed that my heart rate monitor doesnt seem to like darker people. I have tested it on numerous light skinned or white people and I have found that it takes between 1-2 times before we get a reading. Meanwhile darker skinned people it takes anywhere between 4-6 times if at all to get a reading. I have tried different positions for the watch like moving it up the arm and putting it on the underside of my wrist and still no better results. Is anyone else having this issue or am I just crazy?
Racist smart watches eh? I'm light skin and it works fine. Wayans light skin with no tan

Are you taking your measurement on the top or bottom of your wrist?
Sent from my DynamicKat Note 3!
Ha!! Aw man I thought it was just me!!! Im darkskin and the heart rate monitor hardly ever works but when it does its on the underside of my wrist. Even when its on the underside of my wrist I have to be really steady and quite and it takes a while but eventually it will work. My wife is light skin and it works on her like a charm.
While it is VERY unfortunate if Samsung did not test this sufficiently with different skin types, I will add that even on pale skin you have to keep still for a good reading. It is absolutely not suitable for continuous monitoring while running despite what Samsung may have suggested. You get all sorts of crazy readings, or wrong readings. If you really want continuous heart rate monitoring you need to use a Bluetooth chest strap (many options for this that work with Samsung fitness) but it means using it in conjunction with the phone rather than the watch.
I was wondering why Samsung chose a green LED for the light source under the watch. I would have thought being near to the infra-red band (i.e. red) would have coped better with various skin types.
I find it easier to get a reading on the under side of the wrist, pretty much right under the Palm of my hand

Do you think that is because the underside of your wrist is lighter skinned or because the blood vessels are nearer the surface of the skin? I still find it incredible that Samsung didn't think of this issue. Heart rate monitors are not new in watches. Casio did this in the 90s!
