LG V10 cases - LG V10 General

Post pictures of your cases, its distinctive features and why you chose to go with them!
I'll be the first - I've ordered the Spigen case with kickstand, can't wait to get it. I chose it primarily due to the kickstand - I first download YT videos, transfer them onto my phone and watch them later.
EDIT: never mind, didn't look; feel free to delete this thread.

I'd suggest you check the accessories subforum..

[Q] Docking station and Car Dock while in Otterbox Defender

I've never understood why the bulkier case makers don't also make docks for the phones in their cases, would seem an obvious opportunity to me.
Anyway, does anyone know of a dock and a car dock that'll take an S4 while it's in a Otterbox Defender case? I have no intention of stripping the whole phone down every time I want to leave it on my desktop or put it in my car.
Otterbox Defender = Good
Lack of suitable docks = Bad

Good grief, did you even both to search?
It only takes like 5 seconds to title-only search the forum for "dock".
And you'll find like ten threads specifically asking about the same exact question for the same exact case.
I'm responsible for one of the threads myself.
No offense, but we all get a little tired of the same exact questions posted over and over every week by people who have obviously not done any searching first.

Good grief Eddie, did you bother to check and see that search is currently not working on the forum?
So did you find anything?
edit added below
What's even funnier is search is now back up and searching S4 accessories for dock and otterbox or dock and defender only throws up this thread.
Perhaps in future you'll not shoot from the hip partner?
further edit added below.
Eddie where is your thread talking about docks for the otterbox defender on the S4?
If you're talking about this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2267166
neither Otterbox or Defender are mentioned in the thread.
My bad, you're right. Google was down too.

NP, I agree it can be annoying.

Anyone?
Sent from Galaxy i9502
i ABSOULTELY AGREE.
Third-party case manufacturers could make a killing creating docks for the phones that are inside their products.
I have nothing more to offer here, I posted so I can keep track of this thread just in case someone comes up with any relevant info - like you guys, I've scoured the net and haven't come up with anything fruitful.
I'm currently just using a Scosch holder with the official Samsung charger, but it's cumbersome and a pain and causes unnecessary strain on the micro USB because of the way it has to mount in my truck.
Anyway, ideas are always welcome!
Otterbox Defender cases are awesome, I just wish that someone would create some type of dock that accommodates the case and has some functionality (charging, audio jack access, etc.)

Picture Case for Note 9

Sorry if this has been asked before, a cursory search didn't return what I am looking for.
I just upgraded to the Note 9 from the S7. With my S7 I had an awesome case from Jaymo PixCase where I could print (on paper) pictures for the back of my phone. (Case is clear on the back). I really want to do this with the Note 9 but I've been unable to find a case (Jaymo said they have no plans for one) or a template to do the pictures and just use a generic clear backed case.
Does anyone know of a site to buy a case that has a template where I can drop my pictures in so I can print at home? Or are there some other options I haven't thought of or found?
TIA
John

A quick Google search turned up the following results (similar to the Jaymo PicCase):
https://www.yourcustomphonecase.com/custom-note-9-case-hard.html
https://www.customenvy.com/pages/custom-note-9-cases
IDK if the images submitted to these sites are interchangeable or fixed, but,it's something worth looking into.
Thanks. I saw those however they a just printed cases and not quite what I want.

That's what I figured.
Unless there's something else out there, you may have to resort to getting your own prints & trimming to fit for one of the many clear cases out there.
Admittedly, not everyone has the skill/patience to get it right w/o many attempts, yours truly included.
If that's the only option you're left with, most hobby shops likely have cutting tools/punches to get a professional look/fit.
Ringke Fusion cases come with a template to make the right size pics to go in the case. At least, they used to.

Thanks, they look nice but I’m not seeing templates with it. I’ll keep looking though!

Just found this. Scroll down and find note 9. Might be worth a try.

Not sure if this helps but I bought this off ebay for 9$AUD. I laminated some old pics and plucked them at the back. Doesn't interfere with the wireless charger as well

Mocolo tempered glass screen protector

Hi,
I've ordered on aliexpress the Mocolo tempered glass screen protector. The one with UV lamp and liquid glue.
What do you think about it? About the amount of glue...
I've used some good screen Protector like these (G-Color and whitestone dome) and I don't want to put crap on my brand new 1k€ phone
Thanks in advance
it wont be as good as whitestone.
if you dont want to put crap on phone why buy something from Aliexpress?
just get non glass full adhesive for another month and July whitestone will be released
I consider that G-Color isn't crap either.
I know how to put a screen protection without bubble, so I just want not to fxck my device with a too liquid glue, or a bad glue that could make the screens protection unremovable...
I have the mocolo one ready to go, but my current one is still holding up ok, I usually crack a protector once a month... I guess I am harsh on them. When I apply it, I'll get back to you on it. Hope it works out, more than likely it's just like the other budget ones and will be fine.

OnePlus 8/8PRO Karbon Protective Case

Are they going to release the Karbon Protective Case for these devices, i know that they do sell Karbon Bumper Case but the standalone karbon case feels great in hand. Any update on this?

I don't think they will release it. Instead you can look at pitaka or latercase. Pretty much the same as a OP minimal protective case.

The problem being that Pitaka and Later case are kinda expensive and i live in India. The OP Cases are priced very well in India compared to US or other countries.
For eg. The Sandstone Bumper case that i ordered was 790 Rupees (10 USD approx) while the same case goes for 24.95 USD on their US store (Online).

I have a YouTube channel and work with Poetic every time I get a new device. They have told me they are going to have some but they don't have a date yet. They haven't come right out and said it, but I believe they are having some supply chain issues related to COVID-19.

And I just realized you meant OnePlus's Karbon case. Not Poetic's. Lol
Stupid cases that have the same name!

Case for One Plus 8 pro- Ultramarine Blue

Hi Guys,
Finally, my One Plus 8 Pro got delivered today after trying since last 4 weeks.
I have bought Ultramarine blue color, wanted to know which case are you guys using?
I have used Spigen cases earlier and they are really good but the issue is it comes in black and i am not sure if i should use a black color case on a blue color phone.
Hence wanted your suggestions on the case.( Should be durable pls.)
Thanks.
I got my wife the blue one and she just uses the clear case that came with it.
I have the blue and the clear case is ok.
I also purchased the sandstone bumper case in black and it looked good and the case is great.
My favorite though is the Rhinoshield crashguard bumper which offers good protection from drops and you can see the entirety of the blue back. I've had the Rhinoshield for my last 4, now 5 phones and it's always my favorite.
I have Spiegen Tough Armor for my Ultramarine Blue. It looks great, and has very good protection. Would always go for Spigen
