I recently received a brand, spanking new Teclast X98 Air III Dual Boot (Android 5.0 & Windows 10) 64GB Tablet. So far I love the responsiveness. I'd love to Root the Android partition. Just trying to get a thread started for other Air III aficionados to share tips and tricks as well as Rooting the tablet and custom ROM development. Any input or comments welcome!

If I remember correctly, someone flashed Air II/3G ROM on it and it worked fine. You might wanna check out Mirek190's Lollipop ROM thread.
Edit:
here is the post, check out the thread too.

I recently inherited a Sprint Touch Pro. I want to put a stable version of Android on there. (2.2 or 2.3 whichever is more stable).
I need info on how to root and remove winmo and how to flash Android. I tried searching but I'm coming up short on the initial process of removing winmo.
Any help would be appreciated.
To motivate you.. here's a picture of me using my Touch Pro. Please ignore the cord and the watermark.

Thanks.
Hello,
My tablet is very slow because of the lame version of android (4.2.2.). Maybe a new rom would have a positive effect on in. But sadly I didn´t found any custom rom support for that thing .
Maybe someone know more about it. Thats how it look like:

Yep - I installed Cyanogen 10 on it
Hi Alecander - I can tell you how I installed Cyanogenmod 10 on it.
Not much improvement, to be honest - but it is CM at least. I did have to go to crazy lengths to make wi-fi work, though (manually invoke wpa_supplicant, etc).
By the way, if you still have it - can you send me the /system/framework/framework.jar file from that tablet (email: [email protected])? In my tablet that file became corrupt, which stopped the stock image from working (that's why I moved to CM10).
Thanks!
ToasterDroid is a rom built for All Galaxy S4 models holding all the drivers for each one. This rom will be released for Galaxy S5 and S6 later
This rom is not released yet for any phones but will be released later
Hopefully this rom does well because I have spent a lot of time on building it and I'm not even done
Here is the Screenshot of the new Toast UI that will be included in ToasterDroid 1.3.3 (Marshmallow)

Anything useful here?
Eg: features, supported devices, downloads, sources, etc...

It's coming soon for Samsung devices but for other brands it will take a while I expect to have your device done by 3 months later.
Sorry for your inconvenience
The rom is being developed for S7 and S6 S4 and the sprint Asus zenfone 2

I have a Tesla 6.3, it's budget phone that is not really popular. I've been trying to install a custom ROM and I'm constantly running into problems. First of all I want to get TWRP custom recovery but my phone isn't on their website. I just find it a little hard to believe that out of all those phones mine is not supported. Is there any way around this?
Here is a picture with the info about my phone that might be needed:

* BONUS QUESTION *
I've noticed that the ROM (I guess that's what it is) I have on my phone is used on a lot of cheap, budget phones and it looks old, but my phone has Android 7.0. Does it have a name and why is it used on those type of phones? (some pictures of it):
