Can't find a way to root Zte Solar - General Questions and Answers

Hello everyone. I bought this phone for my niece because her htc phone broke. I've always rooted via Odin with my Samsung phones but can't find any dedicated root method for the zte solar. It only has 4gb internal memory so I want to root it so I can set up folder mount for her so she'll have more room for apps. I've tried king root and towel root without success. Does anyone here have an idea on what else I can try to root it or so i can use the sd card for app storage? It's running on 4.1.2 if that helps. I've gotten spoiled with my 64gb s6. Thank you.

Just tried framaroot and that didn't work either. Also, USB Debugging is grayed out.

[Q] question about memory

Hi I bought this rca tablet from Walmart, and looked for information on rooting it, in which I found a whole lot of nothing for this model. Rct6272w23. I decided to try kingo, and it worked flawlessly. The reason I rooted to begin with was to be able move apps to my SD card. This tablet has a preinstalled app that let's you move internal memory to SD, but I have noticed that it will work until I reboot and then all the apps go back to internal memory. Anyone know why this is happening, or how to fix it? Thanks in advance

I've tried to over and over again but my build number also has test keys but root checker says its not rooted can't root it with anything I have literally tried everything except for adb push and adb shelling it manually. Which I going to have to read up on it.
Anybody found anything for the sd card issue?
I have the 701d and Kingo did not work but Root Genius did work just fine.

Ok, if you want to force move apps to SD card or you want to move their data to sd card then you have to root your device,
I m not sure about which root method will be successful, but try kingo root, v root etc,
Or wait for some dev to make custom recovery for this device,.
Good luck

[Completed] LG K3 LS450 from Boost Mobile (Help with Root)

Hello,
Looking for help rooting my LG K3 LS450, I've tried at least 6 root apps both from the PC and from the Phone. Is there a way to manually root a phone which isn't compatible with any root applications currently available? The phone came with 8gb of storage and about 1gb of that is free for use, the rest being bloatware. I purchased a fast SD card to format as internal storage but the phone doesn't allow that option. And of course I can't remove any of the bloatware, leaving me unable to install what I'd actually like!
Thanks!

A "safe" way to root an android 5.1.1

I need to root an old tablet with android 5.1.1 to expand app storage and move some to SD card, but I saw here that apps like kingroot are not a good idea because of the adware/monitoring they install. What would be a "safe" way to root android 5.1.1?
The Device is a 7 inch samsung tab A tablet, model SM-T285M.
obs: I know the dangers of rooting my device, but as it has only 8gb of internal storage, I need root to install applications on the sd card, unless there is another way in this version of android..
Thanks
You can only install / move an app to the external SD if the developer of that app has allowed it. It doesn't depend on whether Android is rooted or not.
