Thank you for the link, at least this is the first not broken link I found since monday.
Unfortunately the image doesn't work
When I try to flash it I get this message:
"assert failed: write_raw_image("/tmp/blob", "staging")
E: Error in /sdcard/WW_epad-user-9.2.2.6.zip
(Status 7)"
If I enable the signature verification I get this message:
"E: failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature verification failed"
I tried to download the file multiple times and I try to flash it from internal memory and from sd card, but nothing changes
Any suggestion, please?
Thank you everybody

Been years since I did it, but don't you flash stock ROMs via PC > USB?
stock rom TF101G
Bricked my Transformer TF101G last night, got into an endless loop of the rom manager.
Used clockworksmod ROM manager before I discovered the warnings that it does not work well. Tried to get this unstalled but the flash screen stayed and there is no access anymore to the factory ROM.
Already looked into new transformers but those are on W10, not my favorite. To me the 101 is still a fine machine/keyboard that I would like to get working again.
I managed to install EasyFlash and apx adapter. Still looking for a stock ROM ...
Is there a still a connected link around or is someone having a backup for the TF101G ?
serial C10KAS....
Thx!

I just rooted my Epic last night, I noticed other than installing wireless tether and rom manager, I am completely unable to install any ROMS.
I keep getting this same error over and over I have tried several different ROMS.
E: failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature verification failed
Installation aborted
It seems like I'm only partially rooted. If that's even possible.
Thanks
It has nothing to do with root. You cannot install ROMs without ClockworkMod Recovery.
I have root. I want to install a new Rom. When i try to reboot into recovery it gives me errors right before it finishes. I never had any kinda trouble out of my Droid X like this. The errors are the following:
E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation Abortion
Someone please help me !!! I BEG OF U !!!
Same issue as above.
Samsung Fascinate. The Samsung recovery utility will not apply sdcard:update.zip for same error code mentioned in above post.
Hi guys,
I installed ClockworkMod Recovery via ROM Manager v3.
When i go to recovery mode and run the 'apply update.zip'
It shows this error:
Code:
E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
I am running stock froyo (JPE).
Any suggestions on this problem?
can somebody answer this question i'm having the same problem ...
You can disable signature checking somewhere in the cwm menus, but please be sure that you know what you're flashing

You need to see if you can Odin restore back to jf6, make sure you have working 3 button download mode before trying anything.
Nevermind, above method works.
After a couple of tries to apply the 4.1.2 update, I decided to leave it alone, and root my device using CWM.
Problem is, once I succesfully used fastboot and restarted in CWM mode, the update which was previously stored is coming up, and now it gives this failure message:
E: signature verification failed
Installing update...
assert failed: getprop ("ro.product.device") == "
E: Error in /cache/Blur_Version.98.1.18002.XT925.Vodafone.en.FR.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.
Now, my phone keeps restarting! and it tries to update to no avail. What can I do to stop this? Or even better, to make it work.

To my understanding, ClockWorkMod.
I still need to find how to apply the update. I found a zip file, apparently it's the update that someone pulled off of their phone, but it gives me the same fail message
