You need to modify it from the overlay it self, decompile the overlay, modify the color in values/colors.xml, recompile & Sign .. and push it & replace the existing .

[THEME & TWEAK] CM7.2 FXP106 {Not Theme Chooser}

OK guys, after solving some problems, I'm right here to introduce you a theme for CM7.2 from FXP.
Credit:
- FXP for his awesome ROM;
- pvyParts for his status bar images;
- ThJap and other guys from XDA for CM tweaks.
The first thing you HAVE TO NOTICE is THIS IS NOT A THEME CHOOSER'S THEME.
I modified framework, status bar image with transparent, glow color and some other.
Bugs (not really)
Code:
- Brightness and flashlight toggle image does not correct cause I can't find any image which has the same style to change. If anybody has, please send me.
Change log:
Code:
- New glow color (not overscroll glow color)
- Transparent popup and dialog background (just 60% to 80% for easy text reading)
- Icon changed to Sony Xperia S and Sony Android 4.0 style.
- New clock and Desk Clock app font.
- Sony home launcher with corner.
- Tweaks:
+ Build.prop tweaks.
+ Lag fix
+ RAM booster
+ VM tweaks
+ SD Card tweaks
+ Network tweaks
+ mtree tweaks
+ CPU scheduler tweaks.
+ Cache tweaks

@ vishal

I just flashed this one and looks pretty neat. Thanks kkrraazzyy.
my pleasure buddy hope to release some new themes soon
Sure, I'll try all of them out, but I'd still prefer if someone could work on a lite version of your ROM.
I hate to freeze apps thru Tb, as eventually I freeze too many and don't know what's causing errors.
hello there.
I like your works, lovely!
can you make a classic white/black theme? no others colors, no fancy bonuses, clear like classic movie with newest tweaks . that would be awesome !
thanks in advance and suitable for xwlf2 or 3

[Guide] [Mod] How to make cm7 status bar transparent

This guide will help you make your status bar Transparent
Tested on official cm7 - feel free to try on other cyanogen based roms that support theme chooser
Note you will need apktool installed on your pc
If you don't have apktool installed you can download the files you need here
Java development tools
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html
Apktool

CM7 Transparent Theme
If you have apktool installed proceed to the following steps
Download the attachment & unzip contents to a folder on your pc
Place your SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk in files_to_patch
Run patcher.bat
Select status bar tweaks and enable only transparent status bar
Edit the smali file as described in the text file that pops up
Select option build and sign
Select option to create zip files
You now have a zip file called patch.zip
Flash this in cwm to enable transparency
To actually make it Transparent you need to apply a theme with a transparent status bar
First disable wallpaper hack from adw launcher settings
Then either download a transparent Theme from playstore for theme chooser and apply in theme chooser
Or create your own theme
Goto uot kitchen http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen
Take cyanbread.apk from the app folder of your cm7 rom & place on pc
Rename it to what you want to call theme
Upload it to kitchen (under cm7 theme in file upload)
In status bar tweaks set background transparency to around 70% Transparent and any other settings you need like carrier or footer - don't forget to generate preview once done
Make sure you have selected hdpi in statusbar tweak settings and hdpi for theme chooser preview in file upload and in file upload leave update binary on default
Then goto summary section
If everything is green create the theme
If not make sure you have clicked generate preview on status bar tweaks
kitchen will then create theme for you
Once it's done download it flash in cwm with system mounted & then apply it in theme chooser
