[INFO] For Canadians wanting to purchase the i727R

Rogers sells the phone in their stores for $750, online is $650. However, the skyrocket on AT&T is only $550.
So there you go, if you want to buy this thing flat out, it's better to head down to your closest border crossing and find it on the other side.
This also applies to almost every other phone as well!

Another option is to go with Kijiji. I got my SII LTE for $450.

I guess if you live close to the border it's a good option... factor in Gas, exchange, duty, etc... and then the unlocking, and it's not really much of a savings. I considered going south for the Note, but decided to just wait a few months and it will drop substantially in price due to all of the above factors.

I helped my friend get a 100 pieces for $185/piece. But this thread is for straight shooting buy it from the store people who like things like a warranty paper and absolute piece of mind.
I personally got mine from rogers for free on all 4 of my lines :-\

Well usually when you head down, you don't go to just buy a phone... Maybe hit up the casino, pick up a few cartons and booze bottles. Clothes, etc... Or maybe that's just me.
Also, FYI, the exchange is pretty much 1:1 and there is no duty on the phones. Their dollar is doing **** so take advantage of it! Their economy isn't going to be in the ****ter forever!

Spent $65 on gas ..... if I need a tank of gas to cross the border then there is the time, unlocking the device, finding and setting up the correct APNs
Though I may go to the US for a week this summer and if I am already there.
May look into the Galaxy Note, if can get a horizontal pouch for it.

They gave me a call and offered me a whole bunch of stuff, I didn't want any of it because I already have a fully unlimited everything plan so I took the phones from them instead.
She reduced my plan by $15 too, so now I have unlimited MMS, calling, SMS and North America long distance with no roaming, 6 gb LTE for like $60 :-\
Trying to get my other lines on the same thing but my contacts don't work for free so it's happening slowly...

If you do goto the u.s then dont pump a full tank here, gas is over 20cents cheaper

Contacts eh? U must have a corporate plan then. Unlimited North America everything is pretty suite, but u also have 4 other lines, so that helps too. U prob have other services with them as well, no?

Not corporate and definitely don't have other services, I would hate to have a contract on my Internet and I don't have cable because I have FTA satellite.
Just straight up knowing who's palms to grease , you'd be surprised how much of the world works this way

I am trying to find a uk stock for he grey version 3g but noone seems to have it yet.
Expansys are lying to everyone posting that the stock will be in less than 5 days and when you place the preorder you see that actually you are getting it in a month! On email communication they said no earlier than the 14th of september. Conveniently they do not put that on the site so they can get more pre-orders.
Amazon uk says unknown expectancy and cfw doesn't even list it!
Anyone knows a reputable shop that can give us an idea of when its coming?

John Lewis online have both the wifi and 3G models in stock - 16gb. You can do their click and collect service for next day pick from your nearest JL or Waitrose store.

Clove Technology seem a decent enough outfit. You could ask them when they will have a grey one.

Iirc it'll be around 1 week of Sept to get the grey ones. Asked the Sammy flagship store in Westfield.

You can pick up the Grey wifi version on ebay now for £429.99. £30 more than itll be sold in stores when released but worth it if you dont want to wait.. delivery was 3 days and the tab is perfect glad I ordered it rather than settle for the white.

Good ebay link but with my luck about electronic devices lately, I'd rather get it from a shop that can guarentee me the 30d replacement.

White 32GB S4

I just called AT&T Stores near me and asked about the 32 GB S4. They all said that they have it right now. However, they only have the black and don't know when they'll get the white. Does anyone have any better idea than the store reps?

I called my local Walmart and they only had 16 gb still. Hoping they get it in tomorrow in either color.

One large AT&T store near me said "special order only" (I think they are wrong). Another nearby store confirmed that they received two Black 32GB units today (mine is now set aside). No White in sight.

I called one at&t store near by and the guy said it'll be available online. Anyway, I would take the black one any day. I'm done with my marble white Galaxy S3. After getting white I realized, how much I was missing the black one. Alas, Samsung didn't release black version and only white looked good enough from the other color selection.

I live a few miles away from one of the busiest ATT corp stores in the country. Im going to be there at 9am. If Anyone got the white, they did.

If you go to AT&T's site now, you will have the option to put the black one in and have a 32gb option. If you switch to the white one, the 32gb option disapears!

Just walked out with a black 32gb. This store is one of the busiest in the country and they didn't have the white one. Phone is going to sit in the box for a few days to see f they get a white one before I open it

You can take it to the store as long as the store is a AT&T Corp. Store and that the phone isn't a refurbished model, which I doubt because the S4 just came out. But yeah, you should be fine

Anyone know when AT&T will get the 32GB White version? I'm kind of disappointed that the White color wasn't available.

Ah great. That wasn't the case this morning when I checked. Just the black and copper was available.

The demand is there but with Sony, where are the products? They want to be make a name on phones but logistics and marketing is just so bad right now. I ended up getting the Z3 compact version instead from Clove and Handtec in UK. I also am from North America. I bought several units for my family.
Once the phone is available at T-Mobile USA, they will wonder why no one is buying these Sony phones. LOL! Because they already bought it!

unfortunately not. some good news though, there's a rumor that the z3 and z3 compact are scheduled for release in Canada early next month.
I can wait 2 weeks if this is the case and save money on shipping and duty taxes. I just hope the white variants come here lol

Sprint has no white no edge... i don't understand why?

At&t has started selling white.
The regional manager that was at the store when I bought my black one on Friday said they T mobile will not be selling a white version at all. He is a higher up, but only time will tell if he is right

Yeah I just used the Edge in BB just north of Boston. Gotta say tho, what a great creation if I must say. Call it a gimmick, but I thought the device was really cool lol. And super light huh? Seems much lighter than the note 4
Im not in the market for a new phone just yet, but this has sure peaked my interest!

I've only seen a white and black demo unit at the South Center Mall in WA state. As for what's being sold, it's only black on Sprint and I was happy to order it. Arrives tomorrow evening.

I ordered the black one today after crying like a girl all weekend about sprint not having white. I don't know why they would not have white. Att has white on their site. I might just return mine and wait. The white just looks better
