Hi!
Has anybody been able to deodex stock 5.0.2 Rom for any of these devices? If, how?
No matter what I do framework/services always fails to deodex.
Tried with Joel Droid Batch Deodexer and everything else went through but 'services - FAILED - Oat2Dex Conversion Failed' and I'm out of ideas, any help would be appreciated
Ps. I have P905 model, 5.0.2 Nordic firmware
You don't need to get into that mess it is already available in rom section

Hi,
I tried several times to downgrade my firmware Gingerbread to stock Froyo rom but the process end up with a black screen. What is the exact procedure to Downgrade?
My current firmware version is Gingerbread S5570XXKPJ and want to go back to stock firmware.. can anyone recommend me a froyo stock firmware. I tried a one pac installation firmware name S5570DDKC1 and did not workout.
Help me plz
Ive seen with several phones you're unable to downgrade from certain roms and are advised to keep your backups before you go to GB because the only way to go back from a GB rom to a froyo rom is to restore your backup.

try like this: download S5570XXKB1, flash it in Odin...if it doesn't work you can try to use ClockWorkMod to format /system and then it should work...
Thanks a million for the reply guyz... i did figured out by my self.. Actually downgrade does not support flashing one package installer. It requires multiple files flash like, Modem,CSC, Code and all those flash components.
am now using froyo successfully
how did u do it I have the same issue

Hi,
I searched but didn't find a Lollipop stock recovery image file for my Moto G XT1032. I need it to update to 5.0.1
I tried with a 4.4.4 stock recovery (included with MotoTool AIO) but then the update failed.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you.

Hi, the stock recovery is the same for Jelly Bean and Kit Kat, you don't need a Lollipop Stock Recovery to update to 5.0.1, you need a Kit Kat one and 4.4.4
Which error did you got during the failed update?

Actually there's no error. When I click on apply, nothing happens. I have an option to cancel the update, that's it, no error. Then I restarted the cell went to recovery mode, tried to apply the update and displayed an error logo with "Error!" written in red. Then the cell boots up normally and I can use it. But now it shows 4.4.4 version number despite I'm still using 5.0
Hi,
I have two Moto G 2013 XT1033 Dual Sim and for both of them - i dont care about losing data and reinstalling - I want to get to a 100% STOCK 5.0.2 state. Dont need root or customer boot.
No 1) Upgraded from 5.0.1 Soak Test Brazil - 220.21.25.falcon_umtsds.Brasil.en.BR, no root, stock bootloader > to 5.0.2 using the incremental ZIP that was provided in some of the recent posts here.
Will I be getting automatic OTAs from now on? Is this equivalent to stock flashing 4.4.4. an then OTAing up to 5.0.2?
No 2) Optimized non-stock firmware 4.4.4, with bloatware reduced etc. dont remember who made the ROM - also Retail, but bootloader unlocked and have root
What is the best approach to this one to a stock 5.0.2, no-root, locked bootloader, is there just a single binary stock 5.0.2 file that I can flash?
Should I downgrade both to 4.4.4 Stock and then upgrade via OTA?
I know for (1) there exists an incremental update, how safe is this?
For (2) the OTA arrived, but as its an optimized ROM the update does not work.
I know all the information is somewhere here, I just was confused what path is safe and if its not possible to simply flash some binary recovery (ideally already to 5.0.2)
I think you should back to 4.4.4 than upgrade to 5.0.2
For back to stock 4.4.4 you can use this

upgrade to 5.0.2 try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3004757

One of my malware protection tools rejected the untouched brazil 4.4.4 download. Where do I find the original files and confirmed hashes?
Hi,
the title says it all:
How can I apply the 5.0 OTA update on a rooted, unlocked Moto G XT1032 with CWM recovery?
I don't care about root anymore and I have used SuperSU to unroot the phone.
But in order to apply the update I need to install the stock recovery, otherwise the device will get stuck in a bootloop.
How do I do this? I have tried using MotoToolAIO and its "Flash Stock Recovery KitKat" button but get a
Code:
hab check failed for recovery
message every time I try.
Could you guys please tell me how to get the stock recovery installed on this phone? As I said I don't care about losing root and I don't mind relocking the phone if necessary. I would really appreciate any pointers you can give me. Possibly without losing my data & apps. Thank you.
This page apparently is supposed to contain all those stock files but it is broken: http://sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=14
This manual seems to be helpful for similar cases, it did not help me, though: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219
Download the stock 4.4.4 ROM for your phone, extract the recovery.img file, and flash it using fastboot commands.
You also need to be unrooted with the stock Motorola apps.

If you think that solves the proble, well...yes. But where do I find that file? As I indicated the only possible source seems to be unavailable currently. I can't find any other.
Does anyone here have an XT1032 DE singleSIM recovery image lying around?
As I am currently living in South Africa and internet is not reall stable it would be amazing if someone could offer just the recovery file instead of the whole 500-600MB dump.
I have a Canadian xt1032 running stock Telus 4.4.4 firmware. Not sure if that recovery would work but I could find it if you want to try it.
Don't forget to unroot too.
I unrooted too using SuperSU and managed to restore the stock recovery using MotoTool (find it on XDA). These are the basic requirements for installing an OTA. But after the OTA is downloaded and I try to install it, the process starts and in about 10 seconds it displays "Error" and boots to 4.4.4 again. Any recommendations?
^^did you remove any of the stock Motorola apps?
No, and Motorola Update Services is updated to the last version.

I doubt it - and fear what might happen if it goes wrong, to be honest. But thanks a lot for the offer. I was able to locate a Retail package for the DE version and will try to download the whole beast, hoping that the connection is stable for these 3 hours.
Even though nobody answered me, I found out what's going on. Lollipop OTAs cannot be installed on modified devices.
You could try out some custom ROM if you are unable to get the official 4.4.4. Carbon and CM11 are some customs ROMs I know of.
There are great unofficial ROMs on the moto g xda forum too!! Don't forget to have a look.

I'm thinking of Resurrection Remix 5.0.2
You could also check out mokee, crdroid, xperience. And don't forget to check out the ROMs in the forum list

One question man. I have 4.4.4 installed. Do I have to install stock 5.X in order to get lollipop bootloader before installing any ROM?

how did you manage to un-modify your device? I just bought the Moto G (2013) and have unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP and haven't had any luck installing ANY firmware after 4.4.4.... I'm always getting stuck on the bootlogo and have to return back to stock 4.4.4...

You need to have factory firmware and recovery installed in order to update via OTA.

I'm currently running CM12.1 on an unlocked XT925. It is the European version. I want to revert back to the stock rom instead but can't find the tutorial or the files to do so. I'd be happy if I can find a complete fxz file.
