Hello, im looking for a compatable twrp recovery for my lg g stylo(h634) which is the cricket version of the stylo. Anyone know of one i could use? Or any custom recovery that would work cause at the moment this phone has no recovery, not even a stock one.
The phone has a stock "recovery" just not the usual like Samsung's etc. Just an option to hard reset. There's a twrp for the T-Mobile and Metro pcs variants, not sure about the others. Just Google LG G Stylo Android forums, they have a dedicated forum for this device. I'm using a custom Rom from there.
No stock recovery LG G Stylo Cricket wireless
I thought I was going crazy I'm glad you are another user that confirmed there is no recovery at all on the Cricket Wireless LG G Stylo there is no support neither.

OTA's
I have a Boost Moto G that has the Verizon Firmware on it & I had no ISSUEs letting it OTA as it normally would everything works fine.
I get this may be a bit old but others may be looking for the answer as well
OTA's will not work with custom recoveries (and maybe even anything non-stock).
Here is a flashable zip for 4.4.4 for Verizon's Moto G.

I have just received a new Virgin Mobil phone LG G Stylo LGLS770. I like some guidance on how I can back it up, for when I make a mistake and soft brick it.
I know how to use the standard tools (Like the "Send command" package and the Android SDK) but know nothing of the phones layout.
Bone stock phone, Custom recoveries do not seem to be published yet.
I have searched but little is there for this phone/provider.
Chaz
Yesterday I tired to lock my Bootloader on Moto G Turbo and ended up not able to do it and tried to manually Flash the Stock ROM, after I flashed the M - 6.0 ROM there was no Network i tried flashing it again did it several times but result was the same.
Later Flashed 5.1.1 Stock ROM and Network showed up back.
Wrote this bcoz it might help someone like me.
No use Rooting Moto G Turbo coz you don't have Lots of Custom Roms, my Recommendation is that don't unlock your bootloader for now, unless you find more support for Custom Roms.
You guys can get the Factory Firmware's on this Link.

I've searched on this forum and Google days for any development on rooting the Cricket Wireless Motorola Moto G Pure (Ellis) XT2163-1 . Found a few stuff for XT2163-4, which is also Moto G Pure Ellis but for different carriers. How safe is flashing the boot image for that? How would I first make a backup before trying and, if failing, trying my hand at building TWRP Ellis? I did pay an unofficial service just to have my phone unlocked, but I don't know how to get any further.
