Hello,
I am using samsung galaxy y duos GT-S7262, my phome was rooted and i have used and changed custom roms also
i was using CWM 6.0.3 touch for installing custom rom
but today i have tried to install a new custom rom of miui which belongs to i9300
it got installed but got stucked in boot screen of MIUI(miui.com)
i have done full wipe of cache, data and system.....but no use
so next i installed my old rom miui-v0.3.2
after that i got stuck in SAMSUNG screen With red( ! ) symbol and it does not up again always in same screen
so next i have installed cwm v6.0.3.7 it got installed and now i can enter into CW Mode
and from this i have installed rom once again even though same issue
i have wiped factory, cache and devlink in advance for many number of times
but no change same issue.....i have tryied many other things using Y-videos but no use
I also tried flashing new firmware using odni..but it also stucks i have waited for 2 hours but even though i progress bar i cant see even a slight line of green colour coming forward
So please help me to solve my problem
Note:- I think nothing is present in my phone memory and problem started after doing full wipe of CACHE,DATA and SYSTEM
Now i can only enter in Download mode and CMW 6.0.3.7 thats it.
when i select REBOOT into BOOTLOADER option in cwm 6.0.3.7
it again stucks in samsung screen with ! on left corner.
Hello,
Welcome to XDA.
I'm not saying that this is your issue but it sounds like you messed up the device partition table by flashing a ROM from a different model.
You may be able to flash your stock firmware with the addition of using a PIT file for your specific device model number/firmware By using Hiemdall in Linux/Ubuntu.
To assist you with finding what you need, try posting your question in the forum linked below.

Boot into the Stock Recovery, and Factory reset. I would also suggest fully Rooting, and installing a Custom Recovery if you are going to be modding your device. It will greatly simplify things for you. It will also give you the safety of having a Nandroid Backup in case things go wrong.

The first thing you should do is try a different USB Cable, and USB Port. You can also check out the thread HERE. There is another HERE, and THIS one. One major thing to keep in mind always. Is to read, read, and read some more before doing anything.
Ok first off i searched alot f anyone had the same issue but cant find one maybe im just lucky, i have a samsung galaxy tab 2 GT-P5113 with 4.2.2 official rom, i want to root this tablet so i followed instructions here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1657056 i passed step one,two and three but step four is where its getting tricky when i try to get the philz touch recovery its doesnt show up it shows the normal stock recovery, so i thought i did something wrong so i did the odin thing again gave me the green light but the custom recovery is not showing up and now my binary counter is on 2. my question is how do i reset the counter if i have to and how to get philz touch recovery going.
my noob troubleshootingskills
were to factory reset the tablet - did nothing
to use the "update from sdcard" option and try to install the philz touch tar and zip one at a time ofcoure - did not work
side note i saw it was only talking about 4.0.3 and 4.0.4 but when i searched the thread it stated 4.2.2 would work so itried it
i would appreciate it if someone would help me ive only rooted two phones ever which were the htc sensation 4g and nexus 5 so im still a bit new to this
Thank You in Advance

You can use this guide to install a custom recovery (CWM, you can flash PhilZ touch later). After that you can use TriangleAway to reset the binary counter.

Hi,
I see 2 choices, since recovery works...
Either download a rom to a micro SD card with another device... Put the card in your phone and flash the rom from it.
Or use Odin to flash your stock firmware.
Here's a frequently asked questions thread in the S3 section. You didn't specify your carrier version/model number, so be sure to use files made for your device for flashing.

Good luck!
The first problem is I changed my systemui from my groupmate on fb of my android phone brand and when I reboot my phone, it stucked in screen with "Android is Uprgrading" then I try to flash a stock firmware on my phone but the procedure is failing everytime I trying to flash. So it get softbricked, (the screen with exclamation mark and cp ----> pc monitor, encounter an etc...) then I flashed a cwm in these phone, a successful operation. So I go to cwm recovery and I wipe all data and reboot my phone but the samsung and blue surroundings are missing, only the "over the horizon" song is ringing but no bootlogo? What is the problem? I always trying to flash stock rom but always fail, I downloaded 3 stock rom but, always failed. please help me sir, I love my phone so much!!
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. See if any one in your device's specific forum can help you, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-star/development They are the experts on your device. You can also get the stock firmware at sammobile.com or samsung-updates.com and flash that in odin.

Hello everyone, and thanks for taking the time to attempt to help me.
Earlier today, my T-Mobile Galaxy S5 updated to 5.1.1. I searched google and came across a few links on how to root my phone (G900T) - The one I ended up using was CF-AutoRoot
I used Odin 3.07, used the tar5 file from that site above where I downloaded the root, and attempted to root the phone. Odin says everything worked as planned ''passed'' was displayed with 0 fails. I waited about 20 minutes, but my phone never rebooted, it was stuck in a boot logo loop ' 'Samsung Galaxy S5 powered by Android'' or ''T-Mobile'' was displayed.
I tried going into recovery and reseting all data / factory wipe but that didn't help, and made it even worse. Now my phone says this when I try to turn it on: ''Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again''
How do I go about getting back to stock firmware , that is rootable, so I can then proceed to install CyanogenMod?
EDIT: I used Kies and was able to get back to stock firmware and the phone turns on.
Can anyone recommend a reliable root for the G900T S5?

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
It's good to hear that you managed to revive your phone. Many of us find it convenient to install a custom recovery such as TWRP which makes backing up and restoring, switching ROMs, and many such activities much easier. XDA happens to have an active and friendly area dedicated to the Samsung Galaxy S5, and specifically to the T-Mobile version at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s5. I suggest you search that area or simply post your question in the Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s5/help where our experts will be most likely to be able to guide you.
