I am buying a locked gs6 edge on ebay and the auction ends in 2 hours. Can you please tell me can i unlock and use with another carrier ( i live in europe ) for free??
If not for free whats the minimal cost i would have to pay for it?
Also tell me if there is any other thing i need to know before buying. Will there be anyproblems because of the unlock or any restrictions??

you need to get the network unlock code, you can buy it online, or you can try to ask your operator.
I personally use ebay for unlock codes, i usually pay something around $2

Unlocked off eBay for $110 or Best Buy for $120 (+tax) if you want a return policy.

Pretty simple: is there a way for me to unlock my SIM without paying $50 to Rogers or any other amount to potential scammers?
Samsung used to unlock the S7 for free I've read, but I've contacted them and apparently they don't do that anymore. Lucky me, they stopped 3 weeks ago... So I don't mind getting my hands dirty and flashing code, but I'm just trying to avoid paying since I'm unlocking to get a better resale value on eBay.

there is no DIY guide as far as i know ....all option are either thru your service provider or pay services :crying:
