PLEASE READ YOUR APPLICABLE PROCESS AND UNDERSTAND IT BEFORE ATTEMPTING. ALSO READ THE LATEST UPDATE POST AND THIS FAQ, IT HAS SOME GOOD INFO IN IT.
Pre-requisites: An unlocked bootloader and custom recovery installed. Use this guide if you need assistance with this (just read the beginning of the guide, follow sections 1 and 2, then come here).
Which path do I choose? Clean install or dirty flash?
Dirty flash: If you are already on a Pure Nexus official build AND NOT flashing across Android versions (6.x.x to 7.x.x). Please check the update post linked about though. This keeps your apps and their data intact.
Clean install: When you have problems with dirty flashing, when coming from another custom ROM, stock Android, a personal Pure Nexus build, OR when required (check the update post).
Always do a clean install before reporting issues
How to dirty flash:
Download the latest Pure Nexus zip, your choice of root zip (optional), and your custom kernel (optional) onto your phone.
Boot into TWRP and make a backup (remove any lock screen security before this, optional but HIGHLY recommended).
Wipe cache and dalvik cache (optional).
Update your vendor image (only need to do this once per build number).
Flash Pure Nexus zip.
Flash root (optional).
Flash custom kernel (optional).
Reboot and profit.

Hey, can anyone confirm this has working band 12 on tmobile? Since he said its fully functional VoLTE and project Fi support, I would assume. Stock rom on nexus 5x does not have working band 12 yet on tmobile.

getting error at startup
There,s an internal problem with your device.contact your manufacturer for details
if its vendor.img problem please can anyone upload Vendor.img for MDB08M

You have almost none of the information someone else would need to actually help you in your post. Version of elemental x? AOSP or CAF? what values did you set in aroma? Make sure you're using the right version of elemental x for the ROM you're installing it with. 4.03 AOSP works perfectly on this ROM on my device.

No problem Bud. I actually have that exact same setup, except that I set 1728 for CPU Max in aroma instead of the stock value. If you dirty flashed to 8-29 from an earlier version of this ROM, check /etc/init.d to make sure you don't have scripts from other kernels or kernel apps in there that could prevent elemental x from successfully booting. Otherwise, try to install again, except this time, make sure ALL values are set to stock and not default to see if you can boot it that way.

I just checked /etc and it only has fstab, mke2fs.conf, mtab,recovery.fstab,recovery.fstab.bak. I'll dirty flash again and choose all the stock options and see if that fixes it. Thanks for helping me out.

Beans recommends their own gapps in the shamu thread:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347782348
I use tk, their packages are modular, the scripting options are amazing, and they're always up to date:

- Add option to enable or disable fullscreen keyboard
- Add manual pause/resume feature for downloads (tap on the download notification to open the download manager, then tap on the entry in the manager to pause/resume it)
- Multi windows improvements and fixes
- Keyguard: show charging current in mAh on lockscreen
- Show/hide IME notification and navbar button
- Add back mka bootzip

- Revert "Configurable Keyguard alpha and Keyguard Bouncer alpha"
- Remove 3Minit Battery mod
- Remove BatteryBar

ROM Kernel: Linux 3.4.x

Bugs?
- Same as Lineage 14.1
Notes:
- This ROM will work normally if you uses the BeansGapps made by PureNexus dev, BeansTown106. Otherwise, if you use opengapps, you'll get a ROM without a Launcher, Keyboard and more. Enjoy the ROM
- ALERT BEFORE FLASHING: Some users from otus/surnia were reporting that the recovery will be replaced when they're installing the ROM. So please, flash some root manager (SuperSU or Magisk) and then boot the ROM. If you go into recovery and TWRP is there, there's some great news. Else, download the twrp img and flash it with flashify [You have to root it previously] or flash it from PC.

I wonder how good the battery life is on this ROM? Great job by the way! Its always appreciated when people take time to bring new things to this device! The constant efforts of everyone in this community to help further development is the reason this phone is not sitting in a drawer collecting dust. Sorry for the long winded text, I just wanted to show appreciation for everyone who contributes!
any idea about for Otus???

woww.. that's cool..
I tought this rom is like RR,DU,with or without few features, but i've mistaken, this rom have the best performance i ever experienced in my Surnia, i never believed in optmization, but this rom change my mind, so far you best work El Dainosor.
@BeansTown106 @jhenrique09, hats off to you guys. I've been flashing my Surnia for coming up on two years with the custom ROMs of all denomination. Thus far, having flashed this ROM about an hour ago ([email protected] Mini GApps, the experience is astonishing: the responsiveness is akin to devices with 3+ GB RAM -- pure liquid. The overall feel is exactly as the title announces -- Pure Nexus. I have seen no bugs as of yet. The RAM efficiency of this ROM leaves me with 350+ MB free, even with multiple tasks running. This ROM is light, yet powerful.
Gentlemen thank you for creating -- hands down -- one of the best (if not the best) custom ROM for the beloved Moto E (2nd Gen) Surnia. @ElDainosor, thank you very much....

Latest Beans Gapps link is available on the Beans Gapps G+ community page ( dated 04/15) or you can download them from AOSP Extended website. DU ones aren't latest I believe
Tip to use opengapps in Pure nexus ROM
1) download latest gapps (i prefer pico)
2) extract the file (as gapps is in zip format)
3) Now delete gapps-remove.txt (as this avoid removing all the g-apps which are preinstalled)
4) now zip the file
5) Now you are good to flash gapps
Hit thanks if it worked

Its not ROM problem. Hike is having some problems with Oreo ROMs.
Good work sir! I appreciate it
Tried this ROM for sometime. ROM was quite stable. Fingerprint and camera working fine. No fc.
Fusion Reactor is in development, options are to be added in future builds.
HOW TO INSTALL
Download required packages.
What i did :-
Rebooted device in fastboot mode and flashed twrp 3.2.1-0.
Booted into TWRP. (Backup your data)
Wiped Data, cache and dalvik cache (No format required, My data partition is f2fs)
Flashed latest firmware.
Flashed ROM package.
Flashed Opengapps (arm64 8.0 micro)
Flashed Magisk 14.0
Flashed additional zips (iYTB).
Rebooted device and device booted into fastboot mode. But no worry, pressed power button for about 20sec and device again rebooted.
Took about 5min to boot.
Done.
NOTE :: Gboard needs to be installed.
Not even a single force close faced.
