[Q] Xperia J Failed Upgrade.

I would seriously appreciate help with this case.
I have friend's Xperia J on my hands, trying to bring it back to life.
The situation is like this:
The phone had failed upgrade to Jelly Bean (I have no specific info how that happened). Now it boots, goes through 'Android is upgrading' phase (optimising applications), goes to homescreen, and then after a few moments a lot of crashes happen (for example "Unfortunatelly DownloadAgent has stopped working") and after some time (usually 1 min) phone freezes and restarts.
To me it seemed like an easy case - just reflash stock firmware and we're good. So i've tried repairing through PC Sony Companion, but when I am told by software to put the phone into flash mode (vol down + usb cable) it just sits there not detecting the phone. I've tried windows 8.1 and windows 7 machines and usb 2.0 with sony cable.
Next, I've tried flashtool, also installing flashtool drivers. When I'm told to plug usb cable, it only goes to 'Reading device information' and just sits there. (Green led is lit).
When I check drivers with phone in flash mode this is what I get:

So, I'm kind of out of options here, and any help would be appreciated! Also, I suppose that 'USB Debugging' is not turned on, it is hard to check with all those crashes happening, but I dont think it matters.

Try with different cable, and connect it on back usb port. I had problems with flashing with original cable that comes with phone, now i use short 10cm from Nokia. I haven't had any problems since.

USB connection doesn't work on Xperia E3 D2202 after install CWM

Everything finished without errors, but after that, i've conected my phone on my PC and it doesn't recognize it as a USB device and in my Xperia doesn't apperar the USB/Debubbing notification, but my PC recognizes it on Flashmode (Pressing Vol down and connect USB cable) i'm trying to fix it with Sony PC Companion bui it gives me a error code (2003) and the same goes with Flashtool while i'm trying to upgrading to KK 4.4.4
I'm trying to restore the original boot.img but i can't find it, can someone help me with this with a solution?

Z5 won't go to flashmode on Flashtool

Hi all,
I tried to use flashtool to flash the .152 FW on my Z5, but the device doesn't go to flashmode when holding the volume down button while plugging the USB cable in.
I used flashtool many times before on my Z1C and Z3C and it always worked.
Now it just starts, shows no signal, I have to restart it and then it just works fine.
Anyone has an idea?

PS: Using latest flashtool and running .152 FW , just wnated to re-flash

tried same cable, other USB port... it worked.. have no idea why as I used always the one USB..

Check the drivers of Z5. After I install drivers flashmode of Z5, My Z5 can be flashed now

Stuck! Xperia Z5 E6653

Can anyone please help. im stuck in a difficult problem. I cant enter recovery, my phone just loops, and i cant connect it to my pc. Just getting USB device not recognized. The last usb device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it. I dont know how to add a new software or restore a backup, and i got a seious battery drain issue. Hope someone can help me. Im on Slim X rom on a E6653.

Download a MM, LP or Nougat firmware.
Let the phone charge and go to flashtool
Load the firmware you downloaded check all the wipe section case and put your phone on flashmode (vol - and stick USB cable while maintaining vol -)
Let flashtool do it's work and once done it should be OK

I have tried that, but my computer cant fin my phone, so i cant use flashtool

I found out of it. Had a faulty usb cord. Im happy again.

Sony Xperia Z3 D6603 Hardbricked Help

I have bricked my Sony Xperia Z3 by trying to install a D6616 firmware, I have a D6603. It did fail on amms. But the bootloader was installed. My Z3 is bricked. Black screen. Does not turn on. No LED. No vibration. But if I leave the device plugged into the PC for a long time, it is detected as an Unknown Device. I removed the battery and plugged it into the PC. The Red LED blinked briefly and it was detected as QHUSB_BULK. But then as SOMC Flash Device. Sony Flash Tool does not work. It says: Device connected, with USB debugging off. Please help, is my Sony still salvageable
