[Q] Flyme os and emui? - Xiaomi Mi 4i

Is any developer working on these roms for our device(flyme and emui)?? As i know, these roms are good in looks and performance both. We have a lot of cm roms. So this gonna be something different. If anyone can port, i'm ready to test

meizu mx is a chinese phone with new meizu os based on ics, can we port just like dianxin?
I have the source uploaded, if anyone is interested
here is the link pf the source: http://www.4shared.com/rar/RK3O7m15/M-MX-ICS-404.html?
thanks to zenplus for providing the link

Looks like MIUI to me...
I believe this os is called flyme. Looks great and just looked it up and they've either just got or are getting an ics update. I looked into these phones a while back and the cheapest one in the UK is £350 which is steep for a phone from a small Chinese company . Would be cool to get it working on sensation

if there is a guide to port rom I could do that, I'm a noob dev but I can learn...
I can use aokp or sense 3.6 base rom, almost everything works

[Q] Best KitKat ROM for our XL

Hey!Which KitKat rom works best on Xperia L? There are many fixes, so I think that Android 4.4 is ready to daily use. But I don't know which rom is best:CM11, AOSPA Beta-6 or SlimRom?

I suppose you really wanted to ask was which KitKat ROM is stable and with least bugs at the moment and you got the reply accordingly!
However, to a normal user it might look as ROMs being compared which is against XDA policies. I suppose changing your words of your posts be great!
Every ROM is developed after a lot of hard work and telling one ROM is better than another doesn't seem fair either as everyone has different level of skills ! Not just that, one ROM which you prefer might not be suitable for someone's else daily use!

The developers usually write the bugs in the ROM with screen shots and what exactly the ROM has to offer!
If it interests you, go ahead and flash it !
You can ask for bugs, usual problems etc but not compare ROMs like : this ROM is better than this but you can give opinion like : I like this ROM as I find this x feature useful..

The only reason why I stated AOSPA beta 6 was because I've heard users saying that it's the most efficient Kit-Kat rom. (bug less)
Not because it's better than the others.

No comparison threads between ROMs and kernels as these aren't allowed on xda. Reported.
Attention New Users!
"Best ROM/Kernel" threads are not tolerated on XDA. Why?
Because what somebody may say is a good ROM, may not work well on somebody else's device. Or Somebody else may not just plain like it.
Everybody has a different requirement, and things like this are considered "subjective". To determine what may be best for you;
1) Read the last several pages of a popular rom thread to determine any new issues in the latest release.
2) Try several ROMs to determine which you like, or works better for your taste.
3) Read the "Original Post" for known issues.
This is the only way to determine what is right for you.
Thread is closed.
Cheers!

[Q] Custom ROM

So... I'm planning to switch to Nexus 5 because my current phone (xperia zl) is lost...
Can you guys suggest me a good custom rom? I mean lag-free (no lag when you pull down the notification drawer), and stable ?
Thanks a lot, sorry if i'm asking such as unimportant question, i'm new in here
Since AOSP is built for Nexus range, they're all about as lag free as each other and all pretty stable.
Just look for the features you want and try the roms...

But i've read on some website said that PA, Carbon, and Mahdi is laging.. .Is that true?
If they are, its users poor setup or certain apps. ?
Stock is noticeably faster than pacman cm based ROM no matter what my settings were.
Going to try a couple more aosp based Roms like rastakat for the missing features from stock.
Will definitely be sticking to aosp Roms now though and not bother with any cm based.

Also pa was definitely faster than pacman but since I didn't run it back to back against stock ROM I can't say if it was slower or faster.

when i was on galaxy s2 of of all roms i had tried cm had the least bugs and cm11 for galaxy s2 was fit for daily use since 3rd build i guess it would be same for all phone !
its written on cm site too that people find cm more stable than other roms. may i know the reason for your opinion?

Cm has always been a battery drain for me since cm6. Its never been more stable than anything else. Maybe their final versions are as stable as everything else, but all their nightlies and everything else released between the final versions always seem to introduce bugs. And they always change stuff that doesn't need changing.
I will never use cm again. Simply awful.

read the xda threads on xda in general, q&a. many many times its cm thats unstable. besides, i spent years on cm, i know what it can be like. anyways, for the nexus 5, there are many roms that id consider more stable than cm.
First time trying a cm based ROM on my n5 and first time I have stability issues. Had to hard reboot cause it wouldn't wake up at all.

Fast Android Lollipop Rom Opinions

Hey guys, so I usually test out many Roms before settling or just keep going through them, but currently I am on Stock and since I am a little disappointed with the performance of Android Lollipop on the Nexus 5, I am looking for a Rom based on pure performance....any recommendations?
If you dont have anything useful to say, dont say it -_-
Euphoria OS beta 4 is nice. It doesn't have an XDA thread yet. Search Euphoria OS on Google, and goto Google+ communuty and search for link

What are the bugs still present in custom roms?

I would like to know what are the major bugs still left in the custom roms such as aospa cm13 etc.
I would like to switch but before switching i would like to know. I know every rom thread has its bugs noted but most of the threads say "You tell me" so i would like to know if any of you used the latest builds of the roms can you tell me the bugs you faced?
Thanks.

I m on miui 8 and still the same lagging issues multitasking failure.. all the same as it was with miui 6 or miui 7. And most possibly will be the same even in miui 9. I am fed up with it.
