[Q] Samsung Galaxy S3 Verizon SCH 1535 (4.4.2) How to Perform a Reset - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

I'm trying to perform Factory Reset to my phone by the following methods:
1)By going into Setting>Backup & Reset>Factory data reset
In this method my phone just restarts and says 'system software not authorized by verizon wireless has been found on your phone please contact nearest Verizon store''
So my resetting process by this method is simply FAILED
2)Some people asked me to perform a Hard Reset. I cannot perform a Hard Reset because the Bootloader is locked and i can't go into the recovery
So please help me to Reset my phone

Galaxy S4 L720 Sprint Encryption failed - stuck on Reset Device

Galaxy S4 Sprint Encryption failed - stuck on Reset Device
Hello all,
First, forgive me if the steps I followed below don't make any sense, I don't really know much if what I am / was doing. Anyway:
I have a Galaxy S4 from sprint, L720
I'm about to sell my phone, and I few months ago I rooted it following this procedure using odin:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-sprint/general/rom-100-stock-l720vod2-5-0-1-t3105760
Not too much to say here, this is just more of a background information.
Anyway, Because I'm selling my phone, I wanted to make sure my information was deleted securely form the device, and found that many people said it should be encrypted.
I tried to do that, and after a couple of hours of the phone stuck on a blank screen, I removed the battery and restarted it.
Now I have a screen that says "Encryption failed" - "Reset Device", only the button to reset it, does nothing.
I follow that guide again, installed that rom again.
I also have twrp, did factory reset, wiped all the data, and still, when I boot, I get that same message.
I have also tried to backup the data (after the debacle), restore it and factory reset the phone.
This leaves the phone stuck on the very first screen, "Samsung Galaxy S4", which maybe a good sign or not.
Any ideas?

That worked. I had tried with other ROMs, such as the rooted one mentioned above and it did not work. The original one did. Thank you sir!

Frp bug(?) --Cannot Wipe the device from Recovery, even with all Google accounts remo

[the final word in the title should be the word "removed"].
My phone is a Rook G from EE (UK), which I understand to be just a carrier-branded ZTE Blade 3 A410. I need to wipe the phone and do a Factory Reset . But the phone has Factory Reset Protection, so I must remove this in order to proceed. I do this by removing all google accounts from the device. As a result, I can perform the factory reset from within the "Backup & Reset" section of "Settings".
However, if I boot into recovery (By holding Vol+ and Power simultaneously), then when I choose "Wipe data/Factory reset", the following line appears at the bottom of the screen:
"Frp have not wipe, factory reset failed".
And it doesn't seem that the device is factory reset. So my first question is: WHAT do I do to enable the Wipe data/factory reset feature from recovery?
[If you are wondering why I need to Factory Reset from Recovery, the answer is that I'm trying to unlock the bootloader. Now we know that the last step in unloking the boottloader is that the device is wiped back to Factory Reset state. I presume that this is accomplished by code which runs in the regular recovery partition.
What worries me substantially, therefore, is that if there is some problem which prevents Recovery from wiping the device clean, then it will not be possible to unlock the bootloader. I'm sorry to say that indeed I am not able right now to unlock the bootloader -- at the crucial moment when I would use the Volume key to confirm that I want to unlock, there seems to bea problem with what is happening: the phone screen stops responding, and in the end the procedure for unlocking the bootloader fails.
If anyone can confirm to me that it must be possible to do a factory reset of your device from within Recovery for there to ever be a procdure to unlock the bottloader.
And last but not at all least -- if someone can help me to end the appearance of that crazily ungrammatical error ("Frp not have wipe, factory reset failed"), I'd be very grateful. Because I'm hopeful that this is the key to unlocking my bootloader.

Developer options>Allow OEM unlocking
thanks, but of course I have both Allow OEM unlocking checked and also USB debugging checked. Perhaps it's a clue that the "OM unlocking" toggle seems to be not perfectly sticky. It sometimes/often happens that I check the value and it's gone abck to "off". At this point, i check that value before I do anything that might unlock the bootloader.
But thanks for the suggestion.
BTW -- please note that THIS question here is about how to get Factory Reset to work from Recovery on a phone which has no google account set up. To do THAT surely doesn't require the OEM Unlocking toggle to be set.

Samsung account keeps stopping.

I just got my galaxy S7 Replacement unit, i downloaded updates and i got nougat, when i add my samsung account it crashes, everytime. I tried hard reset not working. i can't back up my cloud file, neither securing my device in case of a hard reset. Any suggestion ?
Clear the apps cache
By hard reset do you mean factory reset from recovery?
Try flashing the firmware with ODIN and use CSC instead of HOME_CSC (This will also reset the device)
