I've got the latest version of Skydragon but I'm unable to hide apps like Poweramp Premium and make folders for apps in the appdrawer which is kind of annoying? Also is there any way of changing the way the app draw is sorted?
It depends on the launcher you use. Get Nova Launcher, it has got all the customizations you mentioned, plus a lot more.

I have been looking for a standalone app that looks functions like the stock app drawer, but with customizable icons+shortcuts that I can link to from the homescreen; this would be similar to App Organizer or Folder Launcher, which you can do the same thing with, but then apps are displayed in list view. I would just like a snapping "icon view" vertical app drawer.
The goal is to be able to use a quick, lightweight launcher such as Zeam, and be able to change the icons and link to this app instead of the stock one. I feel this would be a solution for many others who don't need or want a full featured homescreen and just want to be able to get a custom look.
This would also save an enormous ammount of time for those (like me) who have attempted to Meta/Ninja-morph or resign market apps and spent a rediculous ammount of time trying to change that one giant orange square icon that throws off the otherwise clean custom look of your drawer.
I love ADW Ex, but it can get really bogged down with multiple widgets. LauncherPro can hide apps from the drawer and have homescreen shortcuts, but that is a pain as well. Other possible featurs could be horizontal/vertical/4d/etc. and custom arrangement, keeping in mind that the main goal is to keep it from eating up resources. Anybody?
(maybe this thread should be moved, thnx)
I know Im not the only one

Doesn't allow custom icons
Hi there,
does anyone know a way how to hide apps from the drawer?
Google says i could use a different drawer (i don't want that) or i could disable them with tools like Titanium Backup (which needs root).
So any ideas? And why are there even TWO apps for Facebook and TWO Apps for Twitter?
I don't think you can hide drawer icons in Sense. You need to use a launcher like AWDLauncher.EX or Launcher Pro to be able to do that.
HTC has its own Facebook and Twitter apps/widgets, and the others are the official apps from the Android Market.
I know in ADW Launcher you can hide the names of the apps either in the drawer, on the desktop or both.
I just want to hide the names on the Stock Sense desktop and don't want to run a different launcher (yes I'm rooted etc.)
Any help would be awesome.
Thanks!

You can use Titanium backup to freeze the app thus making it unusable and hiding the icon in the app-drawer.

Think you could bundle the apks into a zip for us?
How come it's possible to use the Moto launchers and apps on aosp builds but not any of the Sense apps or launcher?
How did you get the launcher to work? I put it in System/app but it's not working. The circle widget also doesn't work. It says, Not for use on 3rd party home screens.
EDIT: The only apps I got to work are the Circle widget, homescreen.apk, the camera app, and the weather app. I can't get Calculator, Calendar, etc. to work.
I don't want ios imitation. but simple Android launcher with all apps on home screen, just like miui
thx.
Isn't this exactly what MIUI Launcher is designed for?!?!

We hate warez mate, it's a disrespect towards the work of developers.
Broadcasted from Zeta Reticuli
Maybe instead of trying to cheat the developer, you pay them if you find it's what you want... Cracks and other Warez/pirate activities are forbidden here regardless of what you've heard.
If you don't want to pay, look for alternatives, Google turns up no shortage of options like iLauncher, Blaze, Launcher for 7 & Plus, or how to configure Nova/Action and other mainstream browsers so they don't have an app drawer.
You could pay for it then have two hours to see if you like it and return if you don't. That's probably what I like most about Google Play vs iOS App Store.
EDIT: I would also like to echo what's been said here. Don't do warez, not only is it unfair to devs but it is also potentially dangerous to your device if you download a "cracked" APK that was actually loaded with malware. So even for that reason alone, don't do it.

What bout zenUI? you can use it with/with out app drawer.:victory:
Try ASAP launcher, ap15 launcher and Edge launcher if you wanna reach your apps quickly
I couldn't adjust with the RROreo's default Trebuchet launcher and coming from MIUI, it was hard to settle with any other fancy launchers.
Tried every launchers available in the internet, that was similar to MIUI stock launcher. The MIUI Launcher suggested above is the close one in replicating the stock MIUI. However, I'd strongly advice against it, as it has some serious bugs. It duplicates app icons randomly, and you only uninstall the apps, can't remove the duplicate icons. It gets worse when system apps icons are duplicated.
I'd suggest this.
1. Install Nova and make it the default launcher(free version will do),
2. Create shortcuts of all apps on the home screen,
3. Enable 'Add icon to Home screen' in Playstore settings. (If you're in Oreo or can't see this settings in Playstore, Go to Nova Settings> Desktop and you'll see this option at the bottom of the list.)
4. Now hold the app drawer icon to remove.
I prefer to drag it to home screen and place it in a location or folder that is usually overlooked. I do this because, without the app drawer icon, uninstalling apps (especially when installed from APKs) would be a hassle, since it’s just a shortcut we are seeing in the Nova Homescreen. Adding the app drawer to the home screen (I know this is against the original goal in a sense, but this is very much different from having the app drawer in the dock), helps in uninstalling apps in ease.
Necrobumping because this thread comes up if you look up "Android launcher with no drawer".
After years of struggle, someone had finally made a good launcher with no drawer. Enter Lawndesk, a fork of Lawnchair without the app drawer. It supports modem functions of stock Android launcher, namely adaptive icons.
