the LATEST MIUI ROM has been released at 1700Hours GMT+8 in China!
MIUI is based on GOT 2.2.1 SHOLS_U2_02.36.0 for central Europe so you have to flash your phone thro RSD before using Opencovery update to MIUI.
It is NOT nandroid backup,you need to update the rom from openreovery.

the english version go on Sunday...like the N1 or Desire MIUI...howewer i try this rom is 30%english 70%chinese...the different with the dexter miui is the speed of scrolling...more smooth than dexter,but dexter is a port this is an official rom it's normal..Now the milestone entered in the family of miui device waitning Dexter to Mod this 11-19.

When you update !
be aware when you update the Miui official rom all other updates in the open recovery/updates folder are deleted as part of a tidy process run as you install so if you have any custom zips you apply they will be deleted as you install miui.

but before u apply this pack copy the build.prop. after applying the eng pack paste the original build.prop.

With the english patch I lose the HSDPA icon in the status bar. Is there a way to restore that? Other than that: Seems like its working like a charm!!!

i downloaded english pack from the link you posted.
my phone hang (white screen) after applying english pack update.
The followings are how I did
i wipe cache/factory/dalvik and apply MIUI official update.
after that i update language pack.

removed the build.prop from the update file in /system/ ?

BTW, back to topic, I saw that the file is 258 MB and there is no gapps one, so I assume the ROM already contains gapps, doesn't it? Are they updated or are they the ones from 201303 package?

I cannot flashed the rom after a full wipe. It doesn't want to be installed.

Nothing more. I use TWRP without problem everytime
After the full wipe, select your rom for install and valid. The install try to run but nothing.
After 1/2 min a message tell me that the tablet cannot install it and reboot.
The recovery came back to the menu and use my backup for restore.
I haven't try and another time cause I hadn't time for.

I really like this rom but since I installed it, my wifi has been nuts. Half my apps say no internet connection and some work perfect. Got a full wifi signal and am only a couple feet away. Tried resetting it and changing the settings but nothing.

Flow writing is not working.

will add to list of bugs, but i will most likely wait to fix, since you can change in language on settings menu(tap and hold settings icon)

This app really looks promising,tried it out on my note 2 running 4.4.2 and worked fine,as pointed out earlier having a dictionary would make one of the best keyboards on xda,looking forward to the next version. Keep up the good work

My phone is protected by combination password,so when android came to life again ,no keyboard can use,i was locked out
Should I wipe reboot to recovery and wipe out all the Data ? I don't want lose all my data.

stock keyboard showed up

really, really weird... . i mean aside from the stock nuance lib(same as official swype) could be crashing on your device. i really can understand what made the reboot. i mean in my tests. when i was porting it. when crashed only the apk would crash, it wouldnt reboot.
so please if you can install again. then send me a logcat. i could take a look to see whats wrong and fix

not now, but it is currently in work. All MIUI-ROMS for Nexus 7 2013 have the same problems right now, there is no Theme.Manager added.
You can use alternative the current MIUI-Home Launcher from Play-Store.

Why not add English in for an option? I wouldn't mind trying out some MIUI on my N7...

Looks like you'd have to update to 4.7.25. Seems like there isn't anyone working on the theme manager because every other phone has it. Weird and frustrating. Hope they figure it out soon. Thanks for making it easier for us to flash miui. Is there still remnants of Chinese left in the rom ? That is a bit annoying but can be overlooked.

The theme manager is hidden and is working. Get activity manager from the store and scroll to theme manager and select "tabresourceactivity" or something similar to that, make a shortcut and you can choose any theme and apply it. Pretty interesting actually

1. Is this rom AOSP or CM Based?
2. Can you change positions of recents and back button?
3. Will the rom be updated to android kitkat 4.4.4?
4.Will their be any new features? just curious
5.Will this rom eventually become a flashiable zip file?
Besides this i like the rom alot especially the way the interface looks.

You can change the navigation buttons, and MIUI V6 ( 4.4.4) will be released in mid August. I think its CM based but I maybe wrong.
