Here's a theme for TWRP
Update 11/15/15
Coming Blue 2: Color is a little off due to the capture processing while in TWRP.

Sorry for updates coming back to back. But after looking at the screen I felt I could do better. So here you go!
Better size in the fonts and alignment of text.
Instructions
1. Download and check MD5
2. Make a folder on the storage in the TWRP directory called "theme"(lower case)
3. Rename the download zip file to ui.zip and copy the file to the theme folder.
4. Now boot into recovery to verify the screen looks just like the pictures.
Your TWRP folder should look just like this \TWRP\theme\ui.zip
Blue 2 is also available in Black and soon Red

I need to remove that, or put the MD5 values. At the time I was planning on putting the files on Androidfilehost.com. Then I changed and posted on the XDA server.

Is the black version supposed to be like that? It doesn't show any buttons, it just shows the letters. I think it would look sweet if it was set up just like the blue2 was only in black.

Sorry I did not try it first. Not sure what went wrong but I will correct it and upload again. Not sure if will get done tonight but check tomorrow and I will have finished. Sorry, thanks for the feedback

Ok bud, found what the problem was. TWRP can not handle grey scale pngs. When I converted the images back to RGB it works fine now. So I learned something new. So thanks and enjoy. Will get the red version soon, maybe tomorrow.

Would be great if one of you awesome themers could do this... just a simple blacked out dialer, contacts and MMS app!
The new google dilaer comes so close. I have it installed, made a phone call with it this morning and every time I've tried to open it since I get a force close error.
Don't get why anyone would want dark contacts and dialer again. Samsung had that running for the past 4 years and it was time for a change now! Light theme all the way!

I also would love blacked out dialer and contacts. On S3 and S4 the 1st mod I have always flashed was some variant of a blacked out dialer. Would be awesome to have it back!

How did you install the Google Dialer? I copy and pasted APK into system/app set permissions (RW-R-R) and reboot and it won't show up in my app drawer for some reason

I just flashed like 3-4 things at once and I'm making sure it wasn't the theme, but it force closed Nova and wouldn't let me use it as my launcher lol, also force closed NiLS Floatifications and a few other apps. Looks nice though. BTW I'm running Mystery Build v1.1 if that matters.....

Just confirmed it is the theme bc I flashed the theme and it force closed everything. Couldn't even take a screenshot/get to my gallery bc of all th force close lol. And I honestly saw nothing different from "Blacked out Dialer with blue text and black chrome highlights".
Damn this a problem, now even when I restore my nandroid I'm getting force closes everywhere.... WTF!
Any updates @vinman12 for getting it to work on Mystery build?
Adding the m8 was a bit trickier than the m7

About Theme
This is a heavily modified version of the theme by thecoby.
Simple and intuitive.
Port the theme as much as you like.
You use this theme at your own risk.
Compatibility
The theme stays compatible with new versions of TWRP until TWRP changelog says otherwise.
Theme will work on any device with a resolution of 1440x2560.
How to use
Download the theme of your choice and rename it to "ui.zip".
On internal storage open TWRP folder and create a folder called "theme", without capital letters.
Copy ui.zip to theme folder.
Restart to recovery.

Please go and give thanks to @z31s1g for his outstanding work as well. If not for his work, these ports wouldn't be here.
These themes were ported from 1080x1920 to 1440x2560.

Should be located, /sdcard/TWRP/theme/ui.zip
If you have an external sdcard then make sure you place it on your internal sdcard.

The Black, Dark, and Light themes can be modified based on the color you choose. Just select the crayon looking icon and go from there. If changing the themes color then a reboot of your recovery will be required for the change to take affect.

As of now iam currently trying to remove the app labels on the edge launcher that is in MOAR rom.and i can say no luck yet..

So, I have never written my own smali code before, but it looks like that may be the best way to do this. It might take some time, there is a lot of reading to do.
