This is how I did rooting of my Lenovo A690.
After a long trial and searching the net for various things finally this worked for me without having
to get a new ROM, CWM, and so on.
I found the "All MTK USB drivers" for windows.
Follow the instructions to install the USB driver.
I installed both PdaNet+ and Universal Android USB Driver.
Find and install Kingo Android Root.
I downloaded so many one click root programs. But the first one I tried was Kingo and it was successful. So
I did not try anything else. Others available are SuperOneClick, OneClickRoot, SRSRoot and there are many
more.
Initially the problem was because the proper driver was not installed, Kingo was not able to detect the device.
Now, once Kingo is able to detect, now it is just one click root.

I tried all the programs I could find, iRoot , EasyRootTool, KingoRoot, kingroot and non of them worked also , KingRoot apk said it failed because "root strategy" is unavailable
any idea what I can do now?

Hello, and welcome to XDA Assist! Here is a thread which might help you: Xperia E4 FULL ROOT ACCESS. They use Kingo but it works for them so if it doesn't work for you, you can post questions in that thread asking for help. You will need to register for that.

Hi all i can't manage to root my Archos 50D oxygen plus, i've try many software without succes, i always get a root failed, i've try:

Genius Root
King Root
anyone managed to root it?
ok try with Kingroot v5 (apk version) and it's seems to work, i can use lucky patcher and titanium backup so i think it's ok iam sorry for the useless post.
