Wish the US carriers would update so timely.

Just so everyone doesn't have to pull out Google Translate, the last item in those patch notes (in Korean) says "Fingerprint performance has been improved."
After that update+hard reset, no more dual clock in the lockscreen ! :good:
Sweet. Is this from the international variant? If so, can we get a dump please?

OKay,
I purchased a Korean Version Nexus S and it came with ICS.
When I turn on the phone it has the Google name and a unlocked lock.
(On EDGE to save battery power)

Since I did buy this second hand, I'm afraid to access banking or other financial materials on the phone... I'm wondering would it be best for security reasons to reinstall ICS myself or leave it be because what I have right now is safe to use?
Should I just install the stock GB and wait for the ICS OTA update that is suppose to be coming soon?
Would my Korean Nexus S get the OTA update over here in the US (T-Mobile)?
I got this message on my One today.
Isn't this an already built in feature of Android 4.4? I noticed that this feature wasn't working for me on a call I got today. Did Verizon disable it to enable their own version to sell to us?

I just got this too. I think it already does it, and Verizon is trying to get more money.

The application goes out to public databases and matches numbers not in your contact list. I'm not aware of this being available in stock Android, but I also wouldn't pay for it. Download "Who Are You" from the Play Store.

Are you rooted, If so did you remove bloat/install any mods, if you did that might be the reason the update is failing

Hey guys,
Does anyone knows what will happen after the beta program ends on January 18?
The notices say:
"9. What happens if Galaxy Beta Program terms end?
You will receive the message about the official software update after Galaxy Beta Program ends. You need to install the official software in order to use Samsung Electronics service."
Does that mean we'll go straight to 6.0 official or will they put us back on 5.1.1?
I've got the answer!

Ditto. Got the notification this afternoon but had to wait until I was on Wi-Fi at home.
doing the update now, I hate the optimizing apps process, so ridiculous ! the update was very small, less than 30MB if I recall.
glad LG / AT&T are still supporting this device.
does anyone know if AT&T has enabled wifi calling on this phone?
Not yet that I can see. My brother has the g4 and has wifi calling and the menus on the g3 don't seem to have the options his does
