I have Ares Next book 8 running 5.0. Anyone know how to root this? I know I'm breaking the rules. Sorry about that, new here and I have a lot of reading and learning.

Hi and thank you for using XDA Assist
Try using FramaRoot or KingRoot.
Good luck!

No such luck , unfortunately.? I sure like to learn how to do this on my own, learn how to find an exploit myself.

I cant find any root tool to root my lg vu 2 f200k 4.4.2 kikat please help . thanks for reply
Hi there!
I only found one useful root thread for your device, but I'm afraid its outdated and may not work on 4.4.2 kit kat. You can ask in the thread tho, perhaps someone has a suggestion.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2338317
Again, ask before you try anything. I think its an outdated method. But I could be wrong.
Otherwise you'll need to ask here, since there's no section for your specific device.
>*Android Development and Hacking*>*Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!
Edit: an XDA Assist colleague also suggested to read up on Towel Root. Its relatively new, but may work for you. You can ask further questions about it and research it here....

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
I'm sorry to hear about your trouble. There is no forum specifically for the Goophone S6 but a user here on XDA Assist reports success at http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/xda-assist/problem-rooting-goophone-s6-mtk6582-t3134209. if you haven't seen it yet, check if that answers your question. Otherwise, you may want to post all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. That's a good place to start where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you.
Good luck!

Yes, this is what i tried, but it doesn't worked for me... I searched everywhere, but i can't seem to find a solution for this problem... I don't understand why it can't be rooted if others have done it with the same phone...

We can't provide technical support here on XDA Assist, but if you post your question in the general Q&A forum suggested earlier, other Goophone S6 owners may be able to guide you.
Once again, good luck!

[Completed] Guide for Rooting Nexus 7 2013 (Android 6.0.1) from MacOS

After looking around for a while, felt overwhelmed as many guides look fishy or untrustworthy. Others are poorly written and not definitive. Thought about resorting to XDA for a reference to a trustworthy guide.

Thank you Sawdoctor, I managed to root my device last night and flashing CM13. The guide you sent is much easier. I may use it later as I find the stock rom less buggy than the CM.
