Why does the XDA app suck?

I have bought the premium version the HD for tablet and no matter what device or Internet connection you have the app sucks. It is slow, constantly connecting to server, skips all around when scrolling through forums behaves oddly and just crashes every so often.
How can the site with arguably the best collection of devs, modders, hackers, designers and tech enthusiasts have such a low quality app? I'm assuming it is still based off tapatalk? As I don't use that app is it to blame for performance issues I'm genuinely just curious?

I'll have to agree with you. And the xda app has become buggier over the years. It's always been buggy but is at its worst now. I still use it.... frustrating. Premium version as well

It is funny how xda hosts so many developers but cannot make a good app.
Yep. App is terrible. Now I can't even quote the right person, or than them. It selects the post above it.

Never liked that app.
Like the carpenters house without any doors I guess
Just use tapatalk .
I think that's what the majority of the users here use.

wtf?
and if youre talking about the "supercharger" mod, its absolutely pointless on a phone with 2gb ram.
How so? I'm asking because I don't know..

because of 2gb ram.
its fine for low ram phones, but on a 2gb ram phone it does nothing useful for you.
Hmm makes sense, I've noticed that I usually have more free memory now, but I guess I don't need 1g of unused ram all the time. Thanks for the help man!

XDA app Free version

Is it just me or is the new XDA app slow and buggy? Do any of you have a link to the older version? I know it's free but still I think that it really needs an update. Then you guys!
