Playing Candy Crush for 22 hours straight can take its toll on your battery (and your marriage). Rate this thread to express how the Huawei Nexus 6P's battery performs under heavy use. A higher rating indicates that it lasts a long time even when playing games, streaming video and audio, and doing other CPU-intensive activities.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Lasts a full day of heavy use, but barely. If I am off charger at 7am, by 10pm I have 15-20% left.
On my second day of use, the phone died after 14 hours of mixed to heavy use. Third day is even worse, the phone is draining at about 10% per hour. The endurance on this thing is a step down from my LG G2, enough that I'm thinking of returning it.

Oh dang... I had the G2 and although it had very good battery life, I never found it satisfactory. I have had the Z3 by Sony since release and I have to say, it's the only phone where I am never worried about battery life. It isn't phenomenally better, no. it is just more than enough to give me great confidence in the stamina of the device.
I have the Nexus due in for delivery today so I really hope it doesn't disappoint. Since if it does, I too may return it for the Z5 compact.
First few discharge cycles were disappointing. Then I realized that leaving BT on all the time was preventing deep sleep...I am now getting 20+ hours under heavy to moderate use.
Definitely better than both my OPO and s6 edge

7am - 10pm is FANTASTIC usage! My note 3 could never do that with ANY rom and most modern phones can't, especially with heavy usage. I see users comparing it to the g2 and some older devices and I don't think it a fair comparison. Those older devices have less power hungry components. I'm using a very low spec'd Galaxy Grand Prime and the battery life on it is REALLY good, but that's because of how low spec'd it is. It doesn't even have a 720p screen lol. But the benefits of a 6P are more than just in the battery life dept so I can't complain on that front.

I also leave it on all the time, maybe it is a bug with the 6p and bluetooth? I've never turned bluetooth on and off with any phone as I use bluetooth audio frequently. In any event, I'm going to try keeping it turned off for a day or two.
Three nights in a row, I left it on overnight (Wi-Fi on, BT on, everything syncing) and drained 3% in 9 hours. That's impressive. I average 3-4 hours of screen on time per day with medium to heavy usage and easily make it all day. A few days ago, I did a "light usage test" and didn't use it for gaming (still had everything except GPS on and syncing) and I made it 2.5 days (59.5 hours) with 2.5 hours of screen on time. Battery is impressive on this thing. I am rooted stock and have no issues, except when gaming. Mine drains really fast and gets very, very, very hot when gaming for extended times, but when not gaming, it lasts crazy long.
Waze and any music app will absolutely DEMOLISH the battery. Very disappointed vs my iphone 6+. Use a car charger!
I am averaging around 2h45m to 3 hours screen on time, with a total run-time of 13-15 hours (7 AM to 10 pm) - 100% to 1% with medium to heavy usage.
> Use gmaps (navigation) for a little over an hour
> Music via BT for an hour and a half
> Background location scanning n all day (tinder)
> Lot of whatsapp messaging
> Frequent google+, facebook and twitter checking
> 3 gmail and 3 exchange email accounts on push

This. Google Play Music destroys my battery more than Google Maps or any other app. Even when I am playing local file and not streaming it is horrendous. Google really needs to improve this, it is terrible for an app that is native to the device.

The days I don't use Play Music for more than two hours. I easily get through the day. Otherwise, it is a struggle.
Man that is depressing.. I was on my way to bestbuy to buy a nexus 6P but I guess not. Ill stick to my 6S Plus, it literally last ALL DAY, why can't Google get it right.
We shouldnt have to root a device, install roms, ect just to get by a whole day or normal phone usage. Its one of the major reasons why im using an iPhone as my daily.

Just FYI... I ran stock for 3 weeks and got absolutely absurd battery life with pretty moderate to heavy usage. I ride a train to and from work every day for about 45 minutes each way. Listen to music at work, on the way to train, on the way home, while I'm at home both in the morning and after work. In about 20+ days of usage running stock, non-rooted I got 20+ hours with ease. Don't be fooled by what a few people say, however, it also depends on many many variables.

I got my Nexus 5 on Monday and have been pretty happy with it so far. Today was the first day I actually had to be away from WiFi for the day and the battery life has stunned me with how poor it has been. I haven't seen battery drop so fast since I had my Desire HD. I took it off charge about 9am and at just after 8pm as I type this I'm down to 10% with under 2 hours screen on time. 100% to 10% in around 10 hours with less than 2 hours screen use.
Has anyone else had this poor battery life? I'm going to let it run down completely, install GSam and see if it happens again but from what I've read on a few reviews (The Verge was the main one) this seems to be almost normal. I would be unhappy with battery life this bad after two years, not two days.

The good battery apps like BBS are broken on KitKat.
But your battery life is not normal. Mine is quite good, about what I would expect. For reference, my GS3 would use 0.2-0.4% per hour while idling during the night. I can't get real numbers or monitor wakelocks on this phone yet. But so far, seems at least somewhat similar to that.
Use Greenify.

A brief summary of my brief usage. I haven't played any games at all since I got the phone and the only usage has been social network apps and very light browsing of around <20 minutes. Oh and I made a call that lasted around 15 seconds. Everything else is stock setup. I have unlocked the bootloader but I did that prior to setting it up due to it wiping everything in the process.
Basically I've used it as much as I'd use my Nexus 4 and that wouldn't see so much as a 30% drain by now. The only thing that I am looking at as a possible cause is that the phone defaults to wanting 4G only. I'm not on a 4G plan or in a 4G area but even with that Mobile Standby is only showing 4% battery use. Suffice to say I switched that to 3G when I saw it just before posting. As I said, I'm going to drain it completely then charge to full and watch it very closely but I wanted to get thoughts while I waited.
I have contacted Google to see if there are any known issues that have popped up but the response I got just suggests turning off practically everything! Why would I opt for a powerful phone just to turn off sync, location services and anything that makes it a smartphone? The baffling one to me is suggesting I switch to AIRPLANE mode if I'm not near WiFi! I didn't buy a WiFi only tablet, I bought a phone!
"If you know you won’t be near a mobile or Wi-Fi network for a while, switch to Airplane mode"
I have been very pleasantly surprised with the battery life with my Nexus 5, I have noticed however that Google Location service likes to use battery power, more importantly - GPS - way too much..
However, I leave it on and even still it easily lasts me a day of use, with around 30-40% left depending on how much I use it.
What are your highest apps in the battery use screen?
Try turning off Google location services.
I am really pleased with battery life. Around 30-40 % left at end of day.

I saw similar with the Nexus 4 but refused to switch off location services and it seems ok. I've attached screenshots just taken. It seems I was a little off with my browsing estimate which shows 36 minutes in Chrome but still hardly astronomical.
OK so far the general opinion seems to be that it's just me. That helps me eliminate the phone and / or battery just being awful so thanks guys.
I'm at near 11 hours and am at 69%.. with an hour screen time. Not great but it easily gets me through the day. By the time I plug it in tonight it will probably have 20-30% and 3 maybe 4 hours of OST. That's more than enough for me
I should mention I have location off.. and only turn it on if I'm going to use the GPS
I also have Google Now off I don't need those flash cards to tell me how long it's going to take me to get home.. it's useful sometimes but I rarely look at em.
I'm pleased with my battery so far.. for the super heavy user they definitely wouldn't get a day.. but for me I'll get it easily.
its been pretty terrible for me with identical setups as other devices.
it has me seriously contemplating going back to my htc one. overall i do love the phone tho so hopefully I get a better idea when betterbatterystats is updated.
Few things with battery thats annoying me is google services kill this phone worse than any other ive owned. Even with google now disabled and location disabled. Also my daily drive to work I always use waze w/ screen on. With my other phones (htc one / n4 / iphone 5) i generally lose between 10-15% battery. On this phone im easily losing 25%.
I have access to charging so not a huge deal for now. Its a new os update so maybe it will get ironed out.

you are forgetting you are having a full HD and quad core phone now.
Ahh you got that google services bug eh.. that will kill any battery
Despite not wanting to I did a factory reset and installed a handful of apps, nothing that should cause issues anyway. When I got to Twitter though just after installing I noticed two warning notifications crop up that I remember just dismissing without thinking last time.
com.google.android.gsf.login
com.google.android.calendar
Both state they need installation of Google Play Services. I've ignored them for now so it'll be interesting to see if they have anything to do with it. I know the screen is going to be using more battery than I'm used to when it's on and notice that in battery use it's just everything else.
Friday will be the ultimate test of sorts. I've disabled WiFi, I'm charging it up and have disabled a few location things I don't care about. If it goes down hard again then it's going back.

I don't think what you're getting is that out of the ordinary. Between screen time and cell reception (the largest contributors to battery life) you could easily be seeing 'normal' battery life.
Don't expect more than 3.5 hrs of screen time, especially if you have reception issues when not on WIFI. And I'm talking 'normal' computer/dev/IT guy usage (e.g. using the phone as it's intended aka using google now, using one or two emails with push sync, using music services occasionally and sparingly during a day, NOT running in airplane mode, not disabling a crapload of smartphone features).
i read a lot of post before getting Nexus 5 last year during summer about his terrible battery life
when i got the phone i could still run a normal day usage
i was reading this article and i add in "PhoneArena.com's custom battery benchmark" a nexus 5 and the result is
S6 7:14
Nexus 5 4:50
PhoneArena.com's custom battery benchmark
http://www.phonearena.com/news/Batt...flagships-stack-up-against-each-other_id70173
not sure if this is realistic or many users has tons of app that drain S6, but if S6 has 25% more battery life that Nexus 5 i would say that is not that bad
Battery Life on the Galaxy S6 is about average at worse... but it is good... right now I have 10h 30m off charger and 2h 38m screen on time and 49% left... people just say that because it has the most powerful processor and best display on the market but the second smallest battery on any flagship... but it is more than numbers you know... and I have to say this thing charges incredibly fast... Dead to 100% in an hour and sometimes even less...
Battery is at most acceptable for daily use.
Acceptable, but not an issue because it goes from 40% to full so darned quick!
I have no idea how folks get such good SOT. I have never gotten more then three hours on any device. Some of that is that I have bad vision and I like it at least halfway to full brightness. I also have a great aversion to turning off any features. I paid to have a full featured smartphone, not a gimp!

the only way to compare battery performance of different phones is to do a maximum screen on time test with a comparable brightness, everything else just compares software wakelock bugs, most caused by 3rd party apps at that
(edit: or do screen off music playback like this test did)

I have mostly everything on except NFC, Bluetooth and GPS (only on when I need them) and I have brightness always either 50+ percent or 100 percent and get 5 hours SOT every single day. I do stream about an hour a day music through bluetooth and 4g to my car, and the usual, Facebook, Whatsapp, Camera use, Texts, hour os so of calls. The phone lasts a full day.
The only reason this phone will have lower than 5 hours screen time is if you're using your camera, sat nav software, or games all day.

Camera! I'm always shooting... I do use bluetooth a lot, but that doesn't appear to drain it much. I also turn my brightness all the way up if I'm shooting outside. I hear that Samsung has research going that could double battery capacity, but it's a little way off. That would be wonderful. Until then, I am happy to be able to recharge so fast...
It's not great but good (enough?) (and perhaps pretty damn good regarding the battery size), and indeed charges hella fast. I came from the Z3 which lasted very long though so I might be spoiled...
I actually achieved 5hr SOT yesterday (and total usage of 2 days) but it depends so much on use. After recharging to 100% and using whatsapp a lot the battery drained a lot faster for example. Now at 35% remaining with 2:10h SOT (and whatsapp and google services being the top spenders).
But yeah
this fast charging is not going to kill the battery really fast?
The battery is ****. Very similar to the Nexus 5, if not a bit worse. I use my phone quite a lot during the day. From full charge at 7am, I get the 15% battery notice at about noon. I charge it using fast charger till it reaches about 45%.. By 5pm I'm getting the low battery notice again.
I had the G4 for a week. Nearly full day of use out of that thing with same usage patterns I have on the S6.
The battery life was designed as either a secondary device or for people with a boring social/work life.

I decided to keep mine because the build quality on the S6 is on par with the iPhone 6. I enjoyed the battery life in the G4 but didn't feel I got my money's worth in quality compared to the S6. The moment a higher capacity battery is released for the S6 is the moment I'll be completely content.

Battery is surely not the best. With email sync using MailDroid, I had to charge the phone twice within the day. I don't use Facebook app, so that's a saviour. I stopped using MailDroid and battery life improved.
My usage is low to moderate, and am always on 4G LTE. Last 3-4 days I'm charging at morning 8 AM to 100%, it comes down to around 45% at 9 PM. I switch off Data at night and battery stays constant (maybe 44%). But again, if I keep screen ON for a while, then the battery is gone!
Battery is about as good as the S4, but worse than the HTC m8. Overall, it's awful considering you cannot swap it out. Unless you don't use the phone much during the day, you will need to charge it overnight and then once more during the day minimum.
This is pretty damn good in my book...
About 30 min of real racing and 10 minutes cs portable... the rest is browsing texting and youtube... half LTE and half Wi-Fi. I also had location services running on high accuracy the whole time sucking up battery life
Is it normal that Google service is always that high?

Please use BBS or GSAM battery to show uptime, screen on time, wifi or mobile data (really important). Also describe your app usage.
Thanks!:good:
I've never found battery life to be all that bad. In fact, as far as I'm concerned, I find it quite good most of the time.
Personally, I find these claims you read about all the time, where people claim to get a full day (or two!), and have 4-6 hours of screen on time, very hard to believe, and I call b.s. most of the time on those claims.
As far as GSam goes, I've used it on and off throughout the years, since my OG Droid in 2010, and I found that the information in GSam differed, or contradicted the information in the stock Android battery stats, and I questioned its accuracy, so I ended up uninstalling it LOL.
In general, though, I'd say my battery life is pretty good. Here's a typical day for my X Pure, and you all can tell me if you agree or disagree:
My phone comes off the charger at around 7 AM, just before my 40 minute train ride in to the city. During my train ride, I send a few texts, then I tether my X Pure to my Nexus 9 so I can get online with the N9 during my commute. Tethering lasts about 30 minutes. After the initial train ride comes the subway ride where I use the phone for reading articles on Google Play Newsstand and checking work emails for about 10 minutes. Once at work, I leave it off the charger, and throughout the day, check emails (work and personal), send/receive texts throughout the day, miscellaneous other usage, etc. By around 4:00, I usually have to put in on the quick charger. At that time, my screen-on time is on average between 1 to 1.5 hours, with 9 hours off the charger. Usually 35-40% battery left by that time.
Now, 9 hours off the charger, 1.5 hours of SOT, 30-40 minutes of tethering, and moderate usage throughout the 9-hours off the charger, I say that's pretty damn good! Weekends I can go 15-17 hours off the charger. Thoughts?
Sent from my Nexus 9 using Tapatalk
Well tethering does use a lot of power but 1.5h of SOT is pretty bad IMHO.

Normally I would agree, but I factor in the time off the charger as well. If it was within a few hours, definitely. But over 9 hours--with moderate to heavy usage, I'm happy with that. I also forgot to mention I probably have a lot of crap going on in the background. I have 3 different weather apps right now (I'm a weather geek), one of which is a lightning strike detector that alerts when lightning is nearby. We are expecting thunderstorms later so it may keep the phone awake. Once I get through today (hopefully I will remember lol), I will post screen shots of battery usage. But overall I am happy with what I get. Over the years, I've had the OG Droid, HTC Rezound, 2013 Moto X, and now the X Pure. The Droid and Rezound's battery life was pretty bad, but has been much better with both the 2013 X and the X Pure. Maybe my standards are lower due to having 2 prior phones with notoriously bad battery life.

Yes one's impression depends a lot on what you're coming from also. You should check how much the phone is kept awake in standby

It is kept awake more than you would think, but I blame the on apps, and that's unfortunately the chance you take if you want those apps. I will post a few screen shots later this evening if I can remember.

I couldn't be happier with the performance of this device.
Thank you moto!
Really? I mean performance is good but a lot of us here have crap SOT. Mine barely makes 2 hours of SOT, which is pretty low.
Which rom and what's the theme?

How are you managing 5-6 hours screen on time on mobile data and what are you doing? Nobody gets that without some serious tweaking and the screen brightness basically off... 5 hours of continuous use on WiFi maybe, maybe, but not on mobile data.

You may be the only owner of this device to ever actually type this out. I mean, battery life is fine, but if it was actually GREAT, it could have been one of the better Android devices ever made. Without it, I like the phone. And nothing more.

Its all true. I put this phone through a lot too. I've themed
every app and every icon. It seems like I'm constantly
changing something. I reboot between 5 and 10 times a
day also. I used to tweak it but I've found simple is better.
I haven't made any changes to the build.prop and the gov
settings are basic (attached). Here are some pics to show
some of my work.

I never noticed that "average" feature on GSM, but upon looking at mine, I am averaging 2:31. Yikes! I use xposed, Ambient display, and some other screen things like f.lux though. Not sure how to quantify the difference.
But to the OPs point about rebooting 10 times a day..I sometimes lose 7-8% of battery when I reboot so this is even harder to believe.

I'm going to try the CPU settings you have and see if it makes any difference for me.
Haven't had the device that long but I'm around 7 hrs SOT. No problems hitting 6 hrs.
Non-rooted, basic setup, sync on, data on all the time though I'm in a terrible area for T-Mobile so I've set it to 3g lately..... Most battery lost browsing the web. No WiFi.
Since I don't get a lot of notifications, or spend a lot of time on the phone or have social apps = good battery life.
I've got over 9 hrs SOT with my LG optimus g pro rooted and locked down. Easy 7.5 on that phone no matter what.
Got 9 hrs using my neighbour's Moto G4 Plus.

There is just no possible way this is true. SOT (screen on time) is not the same as the time it takes the phone to die after you pull it off the charger. Even the Nexus 6p has an average of like 6 hours SOT and it's got an extra 450mAh. Right now I'm running this phone totally stock unrooted without many apps and my SOT varies from 2-3 hours. Back when I was rooted and spent a lot of time doing battery related tweaks (which also happen to kill a lot of funtionality) I could get just over 4 hours. My sister in law has a G4 (non plus) and averages 3-3.5 hours SOT.

Always over 5 hours sot but it's not enough, I had a LG g2 and could get 7+ sot but that was only a 1080p screen, if Moto had chosen a 1080p amoled screen this phone would of been unbeatable.

I can honestly say 5+ hours SOT is possible. However, I achieved that with airplane mode on for a few hours and was reading a Kindle book with about 35% brightness, white text on black background. This requires little processing power and minimal touch interaction. On a regular day 3-4 hours is norm and this is checking emails, reading forums and news, reading some on Kindle, and about half of a day on 3g (not LTE). I don't get many emails, texts, or calls, so notifications are at a minimal (I have Moto display on). I also use Google now to track weather, traffic, packages, etc and have both Google and Moto voice off (just can't justify it when the mic button is just a tap). I just cannot see the SOT time you are claiming, especially if you are not rooted and heavily tweaked. I'm happy with my set up though and would not cripple my phone in the name of battery life.

I'm wondering if we should be considering the quality of the batteries being put into our devices. Look what got past the QC inspectors at Samsung's manufacturer. Makes me wonder how well they control their processes and how low a level of quality are they willing to ship out their door. Hmm...

How? I can only get 2:30 of screen, if I use it a lot, 3h...
Screen brightness is the key... The display panel is what takes most of the battery, if you turn off auto brightness and turn the brightness down to near zero you will get much higher more battery life.
The real problem with this device isn't the battery, it's the display panel (in regards to battery life).

My N6P is currently in the "shop", I got the dreaded boot loop of death. While I wait for it to come back, I've been enjoying the MXPE, excellent phone. I just wanted to add my comment to the N6P getting 6 hours of SOT. I bought it new in Dec. 15 from Google and the very very best SOT is around 3.5 hours. I'm a medium user I would say; email, messaging, web, some social media. I've tried most of the N6P roms and kernels and maybe with Franko's kernel I eked out a bit more, but never got more then 4 hours and that was rare. I generally have my display turned way down, turn off notifications except for messaging, phone, greenify. Nougat was better then MM, but not much.
So far the battery on the MXPE is pretty on par with the 6P for me.
The OP of this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3249458
does pretty much exactly what I've always done, and the battery life is within 30 minutes of mine, I'm currently not rooted and can't disable as many continuously running background apps.
I've always cringed when I would read reviews and people on here about SOT whenever I was considering buying a device. But each person's way of using the device is unique -- one bad app can kill SOT, even using chrome as your main browser will put a big dent in it.
I would say, other than data being on always instead of on WiFi, I use my device like I've always used a pc or tablet.....
If I was only getting 3 hrs SOT I would only look at devices I could get an extended battery case for OR I would be tied to an outlet.
Nonetheless, 6+ hrs SOT is possible for this device -- regardless of what anyone wants to *believe* is possible
Playing Candy Crush for 22 hours straight can take its toll on your battery (and your marriage). Rate this thread to express how the Google Pixel 2 XL's battery performs under heavy use. A higher rating indicates that it lasts a long time even when playing games, streaming video and audio, and doing other CPU-intensive activities.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!

Battery life so far and that's with over 3 hours of gaming, 1 hour of podcast listening, 1 hour listening to Google music, 1 hour of YouTube as well as Facebook, Tapatalk, discord ect. I have to say I'm pretty much blown away.

I'm gonna guess battery saving
Battery saver. I only really need it so the weather app works properly.

But this was using no other battery saving techniques. With things like greenify with aggressive doze, lowering resolution to 1080p ect I'm sure I could extend this even more if I really wanted. Not only that but the game I was playing is a 3d MMORPG with graphics set to med/ high.

So far I've only had one real heavy usage day.
I was on a mix of LTE and wifi, browsed with Chrome, Facebook, texting, 30 minutes of calls, 30 minutes YouTube, 1 hour streaming Google Play Music to Bluetooth headphones, 15 minutes playing Asphalt 8, brightness at 20%, Now Playing on, Google account syncing, Location on high accuracy and battery saving off. At the end of the day I was literally trying to kill the battery but it was getting late and I was tired.
Under the same conditions my Nexus 5X, even when it was brand new, only got like 3 hours screen on time with the same off the charger time.
First phone I've ever had that I can actually say has great battery life. It more than makes up for the blue tint that I only even see if I'm looking for it.
Been at a conference last few days in a row. Historically I bring a charger with me because usually I'm just sitting there on my phone.
Don't have my actual battery performance but started with 100% out of my car. Purposefully left a charger in the car.
Used tons of XDA, Facebook, browser text email etc and had 40-60% remaining after about 7 hours onsight each day.
Great battery for working professionals or any heavy user
Much better lasting than i expected. 3500mah compared to the 3000 mah of Nexus 6, and it lasts 2 days easily on light to moderate use.
EDIT: i meant nexus 6

Oops, i meant Nexus 6, my bad!
I'm downright impressed with the battery on this phone. I was at the hospital for 3 days with no charger, and it lasted the whole time. Granted, I pretty much don't use any app other than firefox, but at the same time, I never turned on the TV (I honestly don't care for watching TV) and my phone was all I had to entertain myself, so the screen was on a lot.

Yeah even better! Even with a 3220 battery, it barely lasted for almost a day. Granted it was after 3 years of using the phone, so at the time i bought it, it would have lasted maybe 1.5 days. But when i went 3 days without charging the pixel 2xl, that was something else.
Upgraded from a Nexus 6 as well. With he same apps installed, and with everything else as similar as possible (i.e. batter saver disabled, location high-accuracy, same google accounts added, etc.), and with hte N6 rooted and running Pixel Launcher and wallpaper app, *and* with the N6 being a 2nd replacement (having replaced my original purchase due to batterygate in Jan 2015, and then having lost the second device in Jan 2016 and relacing it with the last completely new in a box N6 that I found only) and thus around 1.75 years of actual use (versus a true 3 years), I can say that my N6 will die easily in ~4 hours of intensive video game playing (games like PotC: Tides of War and Lineag 2: Evolution) but the Pixel 2 XL has let me play 7+ hours continuously and still had well over 30%.
Being the holidays, I don't have that much time to dedicate to playing games in one sitting, but I can fire up Lineage 2 and auto hunt for a long time, with the phone sitting off to the side, if anyone requires actual visual proof.
Also, relate to this, even if I am playing either game and connect to my charger, the phone barely gets warm, whereas my N6 would get almost unbearably hot if I charged and played at the same time.
If you aren't fortunate to live on wifi and have bad service, my battery life is dropping. I'm down to 10 hours with 2 hours of SOT. First day was much better. I am using a third party charger. Does that drop battery life?

That's pretty terrible. Never got lower than maybe 4.5 hours SOT and that was out and about at Disney World for 16 hours. Mostly the bad service that's killing your battery because it's searching for stronger signal. Doubtful 3rd party charger would be doing this. Screenshots?

Yeah, something is wrong. A few weeks about I had a long day out using mobile data only with signal average to bad browsing, Facebook, texting, 30 minutes of calls, 45 minutes of Google Maps navigation with the screen always on and playing music over Bluetooth to my car for like 2 hours and even like 15 minutes of Asphalt 8 and I ended the day with like 6 hours SOT and 20 hours off the charger and still had like 10% left. That's the absolute WORST I've ever seen. On wifi all the time with good cell signal just browsing and Facebook I've gotten 9 hours SOT over like 40 hours at best. Average with a mix of usage is about 7 hours SOT with about 32 hours off the charger. Individual results will obviously vary but if you are getting a lot less than what I get, which is pretty typical from all the user experience I've read, something is wrong.
Can anyone tell me what is the screen time you get on a pixel 2 Xl iam getting 4.00 hours with 80% battery used and 20% battery left with full recharge 15:20 hour's ago
With talk time of roughly 1:45 minutes used.
How i'm /my phone is doing.
Read somewhere people are getting 8+hour's of screen time with 10% battery still left.
