Hi. I recently bought a Huawei Y560-L01. Before this phone I had a Samsung Galaxy trend. The samsung was easy to root so I didn't have to do any serious search fo ir to work. But with this phone it's complicated. I started searching for a way to root it, I've tried King root but it doesn't work. Then I read something about unlocking the bootloader but I have no clue about what the bootloader is. So can anyone give me a detaliated step by step guide on how to get root on my phone?

Hey guys,
I have searched the internet for rooting software for my new Huawei Mate 2 (model# MT2-L03) running Android 4.3 but I’m still unable to root.
I've come up empty searching google and XDA for a successful rooting method.
Is there someone here that has a HAM2 or some real up to date infomation or has been able to root?
I think I've tried all of the popular rooting software for Android, Windows I want to give it a go with Ubuntu but I don't want to brick it.
Any help in a new direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jason

Found a similar question here: Huawei Ascend Mate 2 > Ascend Mate 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [Q] Root for MT2.L05
There seems to be a way to root this device ... at least on Andorid 4.4.2.
And here is a kind of rooting guide: Huawei Ascend Mate 2 > Ascend Mate 2 General > Some Progress in Rooting the HAM2
Hope it works for you too :fingers-crossed:
If you have further questions, please ask directly in the rooting thread.

If you have a question ask in that thread or start you own thread in T-Mobile MediaPad, SpringBoard General
There are other root methods posted in the XDA Root Directory that may work.
No reply, thread will be closed.
