hey guys, i'm posting this on behalf of a friend of mine who has a galaxy tab 2 10.1 on 4.1.2 stock.
whenever he tries to share a video via whatsapp or viber, it crops the video down to 10 seconds... any idea how to overcome this?
on my note 3, if i try to share a big video file, it automatically compresses the video even to a lower quality so the whole video can be sent

Ok heres what happening.
In a normal scenario, when you are at the Photos and Videos TF3D tab, you can see the pics and videos that you taken. For eg, you took 3 pics and 2 videos and another 3 pics. So the first 3 pics should be in order of 1/8, 2/8, 3/8.
Then the next 2 vids are 4/8, 5/8 and so on. Right?
But I have encounter this problem,
When I'm at the Photos and Videos tab, while the pic is the first picture, its showing correctly at 1/8, BUT
when I'm nearing the video, it skipped the video and the total files become 6, instead of the initial 8. Get what I mean? And at this point in time, when I flick the picture to the next picture, no video files were displayed and it seems like I only have 5 picture files in it. But upon going to the Album view, my videos are STILL THERE!
I sincerely hope I can get some help here as this is driving me crazy....

i recently installed IceCream Sunday 2 Final from jusada and i'm very happy with the ROM so far. But i've one big problem: if i record videos with the camera they are lagging sometimes. 5 - 10 seconds smooth then 1 sec freeze. with stock rom i didn't have this problem. is it possible that the new video format .m4v is the reason for this? with stock rom the videos were recorded in .mp4.

Tried it, no lag so far but worse video quality
The built in video app on the Galaxy S5 records in MP4 format. It seems that the viewer in the Gear 2 (Neo) requires 3GP. I found an app that does a pretty good job with the conversion, but am looking for a simple solution such as a different video recording app for the S5 or (hopefully!) someone pointing out something simple that I am overlooking.

The issue was that it was too high resolution. Easy to resolve!
i would like to ask does the camera 2 api of the galaxy s6 come with manual focus for video? I am running stock rom never rooted and Ive tried pro shot, manual camera and other camera 2 api apps. but my problem is the sound gets recorded while the video frame freezes. sure i can adjust through the view finder and all. but it doesnt take any manual focus videos... any guys got any thought about this?

Hi guys as the title says. Tried different camera app and settings, the same. Sent a captured video to a friend and it's out of sync for them too. I can play other videos fine eg YouTube.
I am abroad and the inability to shoot video on a brand new quad camera phone is driving me crazy! Please help!
Also push notifications stop after about half an hour of using the particular App eg my home motion CCTV. Not sure if this is related but it's also a nightmare.
