Just wanted to pimp my short review of QuakeVR for Google cardboard, it's playing at 60fps on a Galaxy S5, I'm using a cheap bluetooth controller and an unofficial cardboard to play it. It runs really well and was very enjoyable to play. It's definitely now my gotto game to show people interested in VR using Cardboard.
This would be the place to post this,

game does look like I could spend a little time on it but I am going to down load for my kid!
Thanks for the free game!

Anyway, we'll try to do our best when we release new version of the game.
Who said that old Nintendo graphics is bad?
What I'm interesting more is feedback on the gameplay, graphics can be improved easily but if the idea and gameplay is not good enough, then it is really not good.
Trolls playing Mods and getting it all wrong. Funny. Game looks alright to me. Its free. Get over it.

After reading this hear, I tend to think he is a **** and most off all the type of person that brings a place like this down..
Report me or ban me, I don't care but Mazda needs to have a little bit more respect for people.

I saw gameplay on youtube and game looks really great and addictive, will play it later but when I download it you will probably get 5 stars. Cheers!
Well.. i can't play it, i'm using a Optimus One so i'm blaming arm6
Anyway, game looks cool, but i would advice you to put some more info in the first post... game description, captures, or just some more general info
Thank you for the game. I love this "old Nintendo style" gfx though, I still use my Amiga computer to play games, too maybe that's why Wonder why you give it away for free.

I would love to post more info, including video and link to the game homepage, but unfortunately I have status "Junior Member", and all what I can post so far is text (I'm member of XDA since 2006, but I was more reader and ROM downloader before ). Some more activity in this topic and I will be able to enrich my first post
Finally I'm able to post links, first post updated with actual information (links in Google Play and YouTube).
Information about the game is now also in XDA blog. :good: Thank you, POORCOLLEGEGUY

I'm giving it away for free because the market is very tough nowadays, nobody will buy your game if you do not have already your own brand or/and huge amount of money for marketing. If Rovio releases new game they can sell quite well even if the game is quite usual because everybody knows them as "Angry birds" developers. If "no name" developer like me and my team is releasing even brilliant game, nobody will even notice it in 1.000.000 apps market. That's the truth of life.

Hi all,
We are a small team of two and are proud to present our work for the past few months. We`ve managed to develop a motion detection technology using the front camera of a device and created a fun to play small game. So you just put the device anywhere with the front camera looking at you. Make a distance of 3 or 4 feet and begin playing .
We will appreciate your comments (good and bad) and will be glad if you enjoy the game and share it with your friends.
The game is paid so if you cannot afford it or do not wish to spent money please look at the description and the screenshots and give us your opinion.
Just look in the play store or in the Amazon app market for "EggCatcher" created by MMmedia

We hope that you will enjoy our work and are looking forward your comments.
Thank you!
Hello all,
I am running a Kickstarter campaign for a game that I am developing called Project Torus.
Project Torus is a 360-degree first-person shooter experience designed for VR. It is a fast-paced title that takes inspiration from the likes of classics such as Space Invaders and Asteroids. Players control a gun turret centered in a round stadium and must destory a UFO that drops health-draining orbs. The camera is controlled using the given HMD’s head-tracking technology and use one button to fire. Standard versions of the title will also let you play with a mouse on PC or by moving a smartphone around with the mobile version.
So, if you are into VR on your Android device, you might get a kick out of this game. If you are not into VR, the game will function in Standard mode as well. Either way, the game is a load of fun and folks are really getting a kick out of it.

Thanks for checking it out!

Wow, good luck with your project. VR is amazing and I wanted to get my hands on Oculus for a while now

Cool, thanks. I was hoping that the Android community would get a kick out of this.
Sorry, but kickstarter and other crowd funding announcements should not be posted on xda.
Hi.
I'm looking for a game to play in the long term. No specific genre but strategy is nicer.
It has to be a game that I can let go of the phone at any moment, preferably with low battery consumption.
Previously I played Guardian Cross, wasn't very nice in the battery but I could let go of the phone with no problem, but now is ending so I need a new game.
Tried Rage of Bahamut but didn't like the presentation.
Anyone know anything like this?
The game is to play at work in dead times where at any moment I might have to let go of the phone.
Also I don't want to say MMO but something that I have progression and doesn't have any real ending. It's hard to explain.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there Dante
I believe there is a dedicated thread on what you're asking for. Everything related to gaming and games itself can be found on this off-topic thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1279620
You're more likely to receive more answers there. It's also good to look through the off-topic section for such things before creating a thread on something that already exists.
-Inferno 1 & 2
-Monument Valley
-Nba Jam
-Offroad legends
-Real drift
-Prince of persia ( the last one)

Thanks for the suggestions.
Although maybe only Game Dev Story might fall under what i want (I already play minecraft), the project Y seems a very interesting full scale RTS that I didn't know about (I was looking for one for my tablet earlier). Many thanks

Hi. Thanks for the reply. While I was searching I didn't went to the offtopic section because I thought that a question about android apps wouldn't be asked there. But I see your point. The thread you recommended is games in general for everything so if I don't find something I like I will ask there. Thanks for the heads up
I recommend Plants vs Zombies 2.

I enjoyed 'Vega Conflict' a good bit. Pretty cool space RTS

Air hunter is a nice game. But it's more of an action title. It's hard to play on-off-on. I want it for playing at work in dead times.

Very nice game. It's very close to what I need. The battery consumption seem very low and syncs to Google play. But, alas, it has a major flaw. If I lock the screen it loses the connection and I have to restart the app. Since the major thing is that I'm able to let go of the phone at any moment it's almost what I want with that exception.
I'm going to update the first post with more info.

Hello people of xda, I am new member to this forum, but I am very familiar with android.
Now on to the question, so I got my otg cable, a 3.0 hub, a logitech f310, and a usb that I had lying around, I forgot I ordered 1 unofficial cardboard that I ordered in november. I then rooted my Note 4 (Sm-N910H) so that I can use tincore keymapper for mapping the buttons on my game pad, then I purchased GTA San Andreas a third person game from Rockstar. I thought Why cant I play this is Vr since I have the game pad, and the google cardboard. I looked around for apps for doing this, mirroring my screen so I have a vr compatible game, so i remembered that the xda forum is a great place to ask questions on android.
is there any way to mirror my screen or maybe have an app to make a game compatible for vr, I play a wide variety of games, so If anyone has any advice on vr please do tell me.
Thanks -Darkslayer
