Stuck in ClockworkMod Recovery v5.8.0.9 - HTC Sensation

Hi
Tried to flash my HTC with cm-12.1-20151018-UNOFFICIAL-pyramid - now stuck in recovery mode
Had a backup of previous system, tried restore but it won't boot into original system, just ends up in recovery mode.
Have rooted phone, installed CWR, and copied the cm-12.1-20151018-UNOFFICIAL-pyramid.zip and the gapps-lp-20141109-signed.zip to the SD card. when trying to install it fails - seems it has some mount problems ?
Please help

change your recovery to 4ext
http://d-h.st/rG7
extract the recovery.img and flash it via fastboot
the command is fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
then from 4ext
format all partitions except sdcard
enable smartflash (only if you are on S-ON)
flash the rom
done

Screen flaw as well

Thanks a lot !
Managed to flash the 4ext, and it's running well. But I ran into another problem that makes me wonder if I should discard the Sensation totally. I started this because I wanted to give it to a friend, I currently have a S4 active.
When I changed from HTC to Samsung it was mostly because I tought it was too slow, but in the end there was also a issue with the upper right corner of screen starting to be unresponsive. Seems the flaw have gotten bigger, and now it seems that a larger portion of the screen failing - I can't even manage to press install from SD card in 4ext - lol
**** happens !!

[Q] Help - HTC Desire S Can't boot

Hello, I'd like to ask you for help, because I have following problem with my htc desire S (HBOOT 2.00.0002, RADIO_3822-10-08-04_M and S-on).
I unlocked bootloader according to htcdev and rooted by SuperOneClick 2.3.3. Than I installed 4EXT Recovery v 2.2.7 RC5 and prepared ROM files (Endymion_V3.1_base_release.zip and Endymion_V3.4_updater.zip) on my SDcard.
After that I entered Bootloader and 4Ext Recovery without any problem. And here is probably my fault. I have formated everything with SDcard exception - that means also /boot. Following installation of both prepared files (Endymion_3.1 + 3.4) from SDcard ended with "success".
BUT. When I rebooted phone, display remained white with green letters HTC only. To switch the phone off I had to remove battery. On the other hand
I am able to start bootloader (SD Checking: Load PG88DIAG.ZIP - No Image; Load PG88DIAG.nbh - No Image or wrong image) and 4Ext Recovery.
Let me know please, what to do and how to repait it.
Thank you.

You need to extract boot.img from the endymion zip file and flash it using fastboot.
The command you'll need to execute is:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
For details on how yo set up fastboot click on the link on my signature.
Beamed from the Dark Side using xda premium.
Download the rom again, extract boot.img from the zip and flash with fastboot
Thank you very much. After boot flash everything works again.

How to install ROM ViperoneS

I´am dificults in install this rom --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2105863
Please help me , i´m afraid do anything wrong.
Its not difficult to do its as simple as:
Download rom and boot img script
Place Rom on phone storage
Boot into recovery
Back-up current in case something goes wrong
Factory reset in recovery
Then wipe system
Then wipe caches
Find the Rom on sdcard
Flash it install without wipe ( install with wipe will give you problems)
Reboot into bootloader put phone into fastboot mode, by now you should have phone connected to pc and it should display fastboot mode on bootloader screen
Run boot img flash script from your pc (don't place boot img script on the phone, it flashes the boot img for you from computer by running commands) then reboot back into recovery and wipe caches once more then reboot and enjoy... that's it.
Not hard just follow instructions and you should be good to go and if you run into any problems just let us know and we'll help you fix it

Yes you can use Hasoon's AIO kit to flash the boot img, The flash script does the same thing using cmd prompt windows
once you start to flash the rom in your recovery Aroma installer (built in) will start and guide you through the whole process
Good luck

have you flashed the boot img?
Don't use the new TWRP but use 2.3.3.3 or other "stable" releases to flash!
By chance do you have a s3 variant if so then there may be the problem, if not then try an older stable release of a recovery to flash it

When you double click that script, you have to be on your bootloader screen in fastboot USB mode.

[Q] One S in recovery loop

Hi! I have One S rooted and custom ROM PACman flashed. I used clockwork recovery.
Today, I tried to flash a kernel named Bulletproof. I used CW to flash it. After flashing, my phone is not starting, It has gone into recovery loop. If by using the volume button I go to hboot and then to recovery, to reinstall the ROM, it stays in CW for just few seconds and then restarts again. If I try to perfom some actions, it says SD card not mounted.
Need help please ASAP!
Regards,
Mohib

Go into Fastboot USB and flash the stock recovery - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/92451927/STOCKS4.img
Then boot into bootloader, click recovery, this should fix the unmountable SD Card bug.
Then when the phone attempts to boot, soft rest the phone then load into bootloader. Click on fastboot and when it says fastboot USB flash TWRP 2.3.3.0.
Reboot the phone.

Ok I did this and flashed TWRP. It didn't work, so I flashed CW again. It rebooted. It showed the bootscreen of PACman and then rebooted to recovery. I then tried to install zip from the SD, but it said can't mount sdcard!
Whats going wrong?? Any suggestions?
Reinstall the stock recovery and then click Clear Storage on the boot loader screen. You will lose everything on your SD card. Then repeat the rest of the above process as normal. I can't remember if I said to flash the boot.img before installing the OS, but if you didn't flash the boot.img before installing the OS then do that.

Oh thank god its done!!
I cleared the storage and reflashed the recovery and boot.img. But the phone didn't start. So I went to recovery to "install from sd", but it said that there are no files (as I had cleared the storage). Then I got the idea to mount it as USB from the mount menu in CW. It worked and I copied the ROM to SD card and installed it from the recovery. Now my phone is alive again!!
Thanks for you help!

Stuck in Fastboot

Okay so I tried to flash cyanogenmod 11 for the first time on this moto G (US). It bootlooped and I tired to reflash it again and it did the same. There was no way of returning to stock because I had not made a backup. So I tried to flash stock in the bootloader and that didn't work. I went into the recovery and it said 'cant mount /sdcard. So go back into the bootloader and format the sdcard and that doesn't work (which I returned to the recovery to see it not working). I go back and flash twrp thinking that recovery would have something to help me flash a new rom and now I don't even have a working recovery. It takes me straight back to the bootloader and every time I flash a recovery it says Mismatched partition size (recovery) and I am unable to boot into it.
I have no clue on what to do at this point and I need help.
also it says invalid "boot image header!" in red letters

Twrp_MotoG_signed_010814_163615.zip
Download vocoderisms TWRP build, extract "recovery.img" from it.
After you have kitkat installed and working:
Option 1, use TWRP without install:
Boot to bootloader (adb reboot bootloader), boot twrp (fastboot boot recovery.img) and install rom from there.
Option 2, install TWRP (have not tested):
Upload twrp zip to phone (adb push Twrp_MotoG_signed_010814_163615.zip /sdcard/), boot to bootloader (adb reboot bootloader), boot twrp (fastboot boot recovery.img), install Twrp_MotoG_signed_010814_163615.zip.

still i am searching for solution ...
guys plz help me
I thought I am the only one with this problem..After mailing the phone to SC and got it back after 2 months, the phone still looks the same, just like they did nothing to fix it.

Not booting to recovery

what i did -->
1. Unlock bootloader
2. Flash cwm via "fastboot flash recovery recovery.zip"
3. Boot to recovery
4. Factory reset
5. Flash cm zip from sd card.
what i got -->
1. "E:Can't open /sdcard/cm.zip
(bad)
Installation aborted."
Then -->
1. Rebooted, copied again, booted to bootloader
2. selected recovery
Now -->
1. shows the android mascot with its lid open and "No command"
2. no cwm (where did it go ?!?!)
Everytime i flash recovery, it boots the first time (till the time I've not rebooted after flashing recovery) and still won't flash my zip file, and then the recovery won't show.
EDIT (FIXED)
WHAT WENT WRONG...
1. Was using CWM (When i was last active in android flashing, twrp was just another custom recovery, cwm was needed for cm)
2. When i did use TWRP, it was an older version, and did not work (did not even boot to recover, in fact)
3. When i did get twrp working, i used a bad cm.zip file (corrupted)

Thanks for the promt reply mate. Actually it was recovery. IMG only, not zip, i typed it wrong here otherwise the recovery wouldn't have loaded at all, as mentioned earlier. Moreover, I did try flashing twrp, but using twrp, I can't even get recovery to boot once (which does happen on cwm 6.0.4.7)
P.S - can it anyhow be related to bootloader ? I am on stock Lollipop. And device is dual sim (xt1033)

Ok did that. When it booted to cwm (which is all i can manage to boot to, if at all) i selected root phone option. But it didn't root actually. Then i rooted successfully using cf auto root. Then used flashify to flash twrp image, and now when i select recovery from bootloader, it boots normally, not even showing the "no command" screen. (And yea, I'm pressing vol up to select, not power)
Update -- Ok flashed 2.8.6.0 and now boots to revovery (even after a restart) but still can't flash cm. Something pops on screen for a fraction of screen and then recovery reboots. It says "no md5 file found". Any chance of zip being corrupt ?
Update 2 -- Now my internal memory has stopped working :/ can't even take a screenshot, nor a photo. says memory full. Doesn't even copy file to memory when connected to pc. Although in recovery mode (twrp) , with usb mounted, it does copy.

May be the ROM is corrupted buddy download again and flash or try other Roms
Haha. After a hell lot of effort, i did get TWRP installed, and after breaking my head on why cm nightly won't install, i downloaded another one, and it installed fine. Now rocking CM 12.1 (4th device which I'm using on CM, and yet never had so much trouble getting it running..)
