No bootloader access in 150935 build. Help! - Oppo R7 Plus

I couldn't access bootloader or recovery, so I took my phone in to an Oppo customer service center to have ColorOS reinstalled. After they installed the newest version of ColorOS, I tested out recovery (working) and bootloader, but I couldn't boot into bootloader. I tried using power + volume+ and adb reboot bootloader; no luck. I asked about it, and the guy told me that bootloader isn't available in the newest version of ColorOS since people don't use it (my Chinese isn't very good).
I want to unlock my bootloader so I can flash ROMs, but I can't even access fastboot. Help!

You have probably M version? with mediatek cpu... what fastboot oem device-info tells you?

Yes, it's an R7 Plusm. However, it uses a Snapdragon 615 (Qualcomm MSM8939 on "About Phone"), not the Mediatek (Mediatek MT6752) version, unless the phone info is lying. I can't access bootloader, so I can't use fastboot commands. Whenever I issue the "adb reboot bootloader" command, it just boots normally.
EDIT: Is there a way to check besides the "About Phone" menu without fastboot? I want to make sure which version I have. It would help explain a lot of things.
EDIT #2: Tried dialing *#36446337# and entering fastboot through engineering mode, but that doesn't work either.

You can enter fastboot mode by turning your phone off, then turning it on again with the volume up button held.

That's the first thing I tried. To be clear, I've tried the following:
Power off, then Power + Volume Up [x]
adb reboot bootloader [x]
Fastboot through engineering mode [x]
None of those work for me. They all just boot normally instead of booting into bootloader.

volume up and power brings QHDLOADER im not sure if the cyanogen mod team is aware. I also have a r7plusm for testing.

For me, power + volume up just boots normally. After a bit of research, it seems that there's a software block built into R7 Plusm (Chinese ver.) software preventing bootloader access. Not looking good for me... I'll go back to the customer service center again to see what I can do. Most of the R7 Plus owners on here and elsewhere seem to have the R7 Plusf, and not the Plusm. I guess it's a waiting game for R7 Plusm owners...

Hey man made an account for this, just wanted you to know I'm on the same boat. I am currently on R7plusm 11_151009 (not the latest) rooted. For me continuous hold of volume up and power just results in bootloop.

Hey, if you happen to be trying to flash CyanogenMod like I was, then I wrote a guide about it here. This doesn't involve unlocking the bootloader or even access to fastboot, but if you're looking to flash CM then this works.

Not sure. The guy who made Oppo Tools modified a version of TWRP and CM to make them compatible with the R7 Plusm. You can try flashing Paranoid Android from his version of TWRP, but make sure you have a means of restoring stock ColorOS.

I have a R7s with the same problem.
Cannot access fastboot with neither of those methods.
My build number is R7sfEx_11_160128

to my knowledge all the latest ColorOS version prevent the user from accessing fastboot. it is intentional by Oppo.
if you read up on the Project Spectrum beta test replys, people across all Oppo phones are reporting fastboot has been removed.
it is Oppo's new strategy.

[Q] Hard Bricked Nexus 5

HI, I probably hard bricked my new Nexus 5.... I am very sorry for this.
Turning on with the volume button i log in bootloader but the recovery does not work and crashes in "Google" screen.
The charging doesn't work, and the battery is about to end (2% i think).
I noticed that by connecting the device to the PC, the PC recognizes it as Andorid .... I can do something before calling google?
Not a hard brick, hard bricks don't power on or anything as far as I know

Wait until the end of the battery... or push the power button 10 seconds...
Power it off and charge it up, then use the factory image to restore it.
This is definately not a hard brick.
UP Now the charging works... i try to fix it. I will notice eventually updates. Thanks.

Can someone give me pointers on how I should operate? Sorry, it's the first time that I run into a similar problem...

Follow this link - https://dl.google.com/dl/android/aosp/hammerhead-krt16m-factory-bd9c39de.tgz
Then follow these instructions as per Google:
You will find these files useful if you have used the Android Open-Source Project, flashed custom builds on your device, and wish to return that device to its factory state.
In order to use these files, you need to have the fastboot tool in your PATH. That tool is compiled as part of every configuration of the Android Open-Source Project and is the tool used to flash custom builds on your device. On GNU/Linux systems, this also implies that you have configured USB access as mentioned in the machine setup instructions.
Your device needs to be in fastboot mode, with the bootloader unlocked. The relevant key combinations and commands are documented on the page about building for devices.
You need to uncompress each download before use, which creates a new directory for that exact download. That directory contains a ./flash-all.sh script, which handles the various operations, installs the necessary bootloader, baseband firmware(s), and operating system. Note that this operation deletes all user data by default.
Is reborn, thanks very much.

If I hold down volume up+down and power button for a while I can see in drivers "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008". But I can't see anythink on display.

I want to try flash my franco.Kernel test zImage. So I found faux kernel for mako with anykernel flash method. And replaced zImage inside.

xt1032 BootLoop (Android starting..) can't enter recovery or bootloader.

Hi everyone im stuck on the resurection of my device (moto g 2013 8GB updated to 5.1 with [5.1 GPE 1 click] from This forum.
I've tried everything or almost for now, cant get it out of that loop.
*Battery pulling.
*hard buttons combinations.
*fastboot and ADB. (not in fastboot mode so.. And as i did flash de 1click before the loop USB Dbgn isn't enabled)
*i think i've tried every toolkit on this forum.
*Raped google search for over a week trying every posible method-
*Only thing left is to take it to church for a blessing. but im not a believer D:
ADD: i've rooted with a "boot.img" from this forum i think it was a 2015 file.
before this i had not 1 issue with the phone. just unlockd the bootloader a few days ago and updated to 5.1 from 5.0.2 becouse of a wifi issue (unknow mac adress) i had to reboot it like 10 times until it appeared again (original mac adress from device, still wrote it down i have it somewhere.)
I think this would be my first post on this forum and it took me over a week to do it becouse this (asking you-comunity) is my last resource.
PS: i had it going betwen 5.0.2 and 5.1 like 4 times to try solving the wifi issue.. only thing it got me was the "line" on the screen like if it where a problem with vertical sync. (i think you are all very familiar with that issue after downgrading the kernel i think.)
the phone just turns it self on everytime. (everytime)
i was able to boot into recovery before the last flash touching the place were the hardware volume button goes (with a neddle) untill it didnt workd anymore and i send it to a store to repair the volume rockers. still no recovery or bootloader boot.
my pc (laptop with 7-32bit recognices it as xt1032. and the one with xp as MTP.)
I've installed every posible thing that i found to bring it back to life even the android sdk full every pkg from 5.0.2 to 5.1 and extras, Motorola drivers and ADB. tried online searching automated from windows and listing it from a folder with the google one. tried adding the hardware manualy and have every ADB thing that i found on device mng but everyone is wit a yellow triangle. (No USB Debuging enabled so why bother anymore.)
I think that's about it.
You seem to be making things massively over-complicated.

i m sorry for my english, isnt my native lang. And for making it over complicated.
i cant enter fastboot mode or give any order to the phone trough fastboot on a console.
I have installed a TWRP touch, just cant acces it. dont know if it is the hardware button (Vol -) or what.
so it dosnt show up on fastboot devices nor adb devices.
am i not understanding something ?

did that, tried pulling the battery off and holding the keys (down and power or just vol down) and starting it. no way it goes into bootloader or recovery. When i do any of those things the phone just powers back up it self and boots into system or tries to, and get stuck in bootloop.
Im gonna try a gtag cable or something like that tomorrow from a friend. would it work to send it to bootloader or recovr?

Fastboot mode not working on oppo r7 plus

I have bought Oppo R7 PLUS from china so basically it doesnt have google services which I want to use in INDIA. I have read many post here and in oppo community forum about flashing custom rom (CYANOGEN 13) and GAPPS to make google services work on my phone as well as have cyanogen. As a newbie I read everything I could. I havent ever rooted a phone or flashed anything on an android. I read the articles here and interestingly learnt a lot about adb and fastboot to flash the same.
Under usb debugging mode open, i tried to use the command 'adb fastboot bootloader' but my oppo didnt rebooted to fastboot mode, instead it rebooted as normal.
While giving commands 'adb devices', it returned back with a serial number. When i gave the command 'fastboot devices' it didnt returned anything.
I also used the hot keys, volume up and power simultaneously to reboot into fastboot but it did not. I even tried first pressing volume up and then power, but its didnt boot.
I am not able to use fastboot commands as well as cant reboot into fastboot through hot keys.
I have checked in device manager for drivers and there are no issues with it. Its showing there 'ANDROID COMPOSITE ADB INTERFACE'.
Your help would be highly appreciated.
I just want google services on my chinese oppo r7 plus, so if there is any alternate method, it would be appreciated too.
NOTE: MY PHONE IS NOT ROOTED RIGHT NOW AND I AM A NEWBIE TO THIS.
Thank you in advance.

Basically you can't enter in FastBoot Mode with newest device like R7PlusM.
You must Root with Oppo Tools and than Flash TWRP Recovery.
Check this guide I've made....only if you have R7PlusM (but it should work with others devices without FastBoot, at least the Rooting Tool).

Question Can't boot into Fastboot

Hello There,
Recently, I had brought an OnePlus Nord 2T, Indian Variant specifically. I was trying to root the device by installing TWRP but the TWRP wasn't having any access to the storage because I had wiped the Internal Storage in TWRP before I could do that, which didn't give me any access to the storage of the device. Even if I connected my PC.... Or Disabling/Re-Enabling MTP.
Long story short, I eventually gave up and decided to try again sometime later and proceeded to lock the bootloader. But after relocking the BL the phone would boot and show the error
"The current image(boot/recovery) have been destroyed". I have tried everything to get it to boot into Fastboot but it just won't boot into it.
Pressing Volume Down + Volume Up + Power Button will only display the same error with a small "Recovery Mode" at the bottom left of the screen! I could have tried booting from Recovery but it just doesn't works cause I think that there is no stock recovery because the phone hadn't booted to the OOS yet. Any help as to how can i get it to boot into fastboot mode???? Please!!!!!!!!
Please anybody respond!

What you need to do if you have a data Cable is connect to the computer that way you can install adv and boot into fastboot

Could you explain it more in detail? Like giving me the exact instructions as to what i have to do.
Also, What do you mean by "adv"?

This will not work if you have a bad boot partition. There was a way to flash boot.img via brom mode but it is patched now. So only now is to give it to Oneplus service center.

How long does the service center take to fix the device? Hours? Days? Months?
It usually takes 1-2 days. If you are lucky you get it fixed on the spot.
I had the same issue. Got a new device from my provider in exchange.
Maybe brom mode could work in your case.
Your build has to be A.14 or lower as A.15 received the patch.

Question Poco x3 pro Bricked, Stuck on logo no volume buttons

Hello, So I've recently tried flashing a specific custom ROM for my Poco x3 pro, but when I flashed it on twrp it said Failed To Mount Vendor, Failed To Mount Root and something else but I don't really remember, I watched a youtube tutorial to fix but when I booted into system it just showed the boot logo animation, it only goes off when it's out of charge, my volume buttons are broken too, I've went to several stores but they said they can't fix it, the thing is that when I connect my phone to the PC, it detects it in adb, but I'm unable to do anything because it's "unauthorized" should I just give up on the phone?

Tried an older adb version and it now says "This adb server's $ADB_VENDOR_KEYS is not set Try 'adb kill-server' if that seems wrong. Otherwise check for a confirmation dialog on your device.

Unfortunately, if you can't use adb commands and your volume buttons are not functional, then you are out of options. Your priority should be to get the volume buttons fixed. If it is not possible to get them fixed, then you are stuck.
What about earphone volume buttons? That works.

Did you unlock the bootloader first? Sorry if this seems like a dumb question but you didn't indicate that you did.
@immortalwon exactly that was what i thought at the first reading this threat yesterday...

I know exactly what happened. Because you flashed the wrong rom, it replaced also your custom recovery so now you are full bricked. I am not sure if there is official unbrick tools from Xiaomi, but you prob need to find someone who can do remote flash repairs.
I would try this before anything: Hold all volume buttons and power button until screen turns off. If it does turn off, hold volume down and power button and try to get into fastboot menu.

The thing is that my volume buttons are broken, I might fix them but I think fastboot got erased along with the recovery (not sure)

Why would you even bother to flash stuff with broken volume buttons? That's asking for big trouble, which occurred to you. I would suggest fixing or getting a new phone

Fastboot can't get erased.
No worries there.
