How to access phone settings ? - Blu Pure XL

The notification bar only shows notifications and no settings that I can see. Am I missing something or the only way to do it is to create widget or shortcut ?

Pull up slowly from the bottom of the screen. This is called "control center" it's super annoying to me honestly.

Yup that's it, I completely missed "more" on the bottom of the screen. Thank you. Other than few UI quirks I am liking the phone far.
Also the touch sensor works for me even with screen on, so they must have fixed that bug.

[Q] Landscape Dialer?

Anyone know of a way to get the Dialer/Contacts App to go into landscape mode. I use my Nexus S 4G in my car dock in ladscape mode frequently, and it's a PITA to dial sideways while driving.

Go to your contacts, then press menu, settings. Go to the bottom and you should see Enable sensor rotation in the misc section.

Thanks, but there is no "Settings" menu within the Contacts app on the Nexus S 4G. Maybe on the Nexus S though.

You need to press the menu button on your Nexus S first. Also valid in the dialer screen.
Sorry it's not settings however, but preferences.

Nope, it's not there. Looks like they left some code out of the 4G model.
system setting --> display --> auto-rotate
for your own and other driver/people's safety , please do not use phone while you are driving

Thanks, but Auto-rotate has already been enabled in display settings, and it does not work in the dialer and contact apps. I've tried every ROM for the NS4G (except for CM7) and there seems to be no way to get the dialer into Landscape.
well... unfortunately there is nothing i can do about it ... wish you luck to find what you looking for
C.m. will do it on the dialer press menu

My Pie Pro stops working after screen lock

What to do?
I have to manually start it all the time
Settings > Advanced > Battery Manager > Protected apps.
Flick the "switch" next to the apps you don't want killed when the screen turns off.

Thanks a lot it worked!
Now only thing is there is a blue bar where I set up my pie control touch area. When I'm not using pie control it's still there. Any idea how to make it invisible?

Incorrect
Solution was to terminate the app by pressing backwards. Then bar went away keeping functionality

Home Button Missing on AOD

I have 2 S8 Plus phones with mostly the same apps & the settings are set the same. One of them has the home button on the AOD. The other phone, the button icon is missing. You have to kinda find it. They both have the same clock setup & software updates. Where is the setting for the button to appear?

The dot on the home bar / status / tabs / back button
You can just dubnle tap the dot on the home, tab, and back bar, which is on the bottom of the screen, and it will make it not disappear, or disappear. I cant find anywhere online that adresses it, so here you are, ive been looking for an hour and figured out wtf i pressed to make it disapear. A vanasing text appeared and said some**** about always on diplay, but that is nonsence. Has nothing to do with aod!!!!!
