EDIT : PROJECT DELAYED
Trying to port a custom Xperia Z1 Rom to Nexus 5.
This custom Rom has all features from Xperia Z5.
Here is base rom : http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z1/development/rom-z5mx-rom7-5-0extended-battery-t3224245
Edit : Advanced, see logcat
Edit 2 : fixed mediadrm fatal crash. Now, i need to fix SDCARD
Edit 3 : seems i need to fix sound
Edit 4 : Booting, as logcat says. The problem is : Google Logo stays displayed. Bootanimation doesnt displays and so, it seems it prevents phone from displaying Setup Wizard, and Android UI. Maybe the problem is "libsecureui.so" dlopen failed. I still didnt found the solution and any help would be greatly apreciated.
Heres logcat
Thanks for any help
Getting advanced a little. Now, getting an issue with sdcard. See OP
You should try removing all links to sdcard and just make it internal only, Nexus 5 don't have externalsd
Also, you'll better off porting z5 stuff to a cm12.1 base, its easier.
The official sony roms have a lot of proprietary kernel stuff that can't be ported, stamina mode is one
besides, camera wouldn't work
Do try first tho

I see, man, thanks !
I did "ro.build.characteristics=nosdcard" into build.prop. tried some other stuff and got as far as here : http://pastebin.com/bmHJQ0ke
I tried Cm12.1 and got so much other issues and inarborded cm12.1 to use UntouchedAOSP as base now.
Maybe I need to port Xperia kernel too, as Xperia z1 has kinda same hardware as Nexus 5, and that's the reason I used a custom Xperia z1 ROM

I mean making a entirely new rom using cm12.1 as a base and just port sony's launcher, systemui, lockscreen. etc
Reading the logcat, it said unknown permission for nearly all jars/apks. did you break the signature or something?
Sorry i cannot help much, its been years since i last ported a entirely new rom to a different device

I see. I don't know at all why theses permissions are fcked up. No problem man. Lollipop seems way more tricky to port. Maybe because Apk/jar are odexed

The base Rom does not install on my nexus 5. TWRP and CWM show error. Does it have to do something with logcat?

Hello everyone!
I successfully managed to run HTC One M8's camera on our device! Some things are not working correctly(duo mode, zoe, gallery editing, manual control(Sony framework fault) ), but i wasnt expecting it to even start the app.
Download Link (Special Thanks to @iedafarha for making it a flashable zip )
Disclaimer:I hope it works for you, because I havent tested it on every rom. I tested on Stock(perfect) and Lollipop(improves camera a lot+more manual controls).
It didn't work on cm11 for some reason.
Instructions:
1. Flash ZIP.
2. Reboot device
3ENJOY!!
Optional: Hit Thanks
Here's a link to the Original Google+ thread:
Jishnu's Google+ Page
I did not make this mod. All credits go to Jishnu, so be sure to follow his G+ page .
Update 2:Here are some sample photos:
Have fun!
How did u flash it? Tried with cmResurrection and Validus but both give me "signature check failed, wrong footer". Now i'll try with DU...
doesn't work.
after flashing zip all apps crashes.
thanks for it
stock 4.4.4
I saw this app in m8, and it would be better camera app than stock in aosp roms.

As i said in my first post, It totally messed up the stock ROM and i had to reinstall it.But worked on DU.
But today I installed ResurrectionRemix I encoutered a problem
I dont know how I did it before, but now it doesnt work(opens app, camera error, closes app).Even the Google Camera or any other camera software dont work :crying: . I really forgot how i did it before. I think I used the system for a while and flashed it directly without wiping anything. I will try that again later today. I really want it to work again, because it is an AMAZING camera app. I hope we see the Sony camera and its processing for LP roms later in time.

It is A LOT better! The little white dots that appear in custom roms in low light are gone. The pictures look amazing(but only 8 megapixels). The focusing in just plain PERFECT and the sounds are very cool. It sounds like a real xenon flash firing. HTC did a wonderful job with the app.

It flashed without a problem. I use the multiboot version of TWRP and flash it on secondary rom, so iI can test different things without messing up the phone.
I'll try today once again

Does the phone boot? Or app crash? You can try rebooting the phone of cleaning cache. I hope we get this app working, cause it is awesome.
Can someone take a look at the files in the zip? I think there are important camera libs being overwritten, but that is just a guess. I am not familiar with the android lib system.

Yea, I don't know how it happened. It worked the first time. But then i wanted to install another lollipop rom. I flashed the zip just like the first time, but all I got was a crash . I will write back if i find a way.
YESSS!! After a bit of messing around, I found a way to get it working. I just used Root Explorer to put the files in the folders. When a message to replace a file appears , just say NO. Then i rebooted and viola-it worked. Now I will try to update the app to the newest version and report back.
Hi, i just want to ask what kernels compatible with cm12.1 xperia l?
and another question lately i flashed XperiaPrime rom on my xperia l it was really smoth but suddenly my phone crashed, is there any reasons or wrong step that made crash happens?
Why dont you try StryFlex 4.0 rom by @STRYDER~007. About the kernel, try zapdos kernel, it supports double tap to wake

yea probably but really still laggy when playing games, i think RepeXpersiS Z2 or Z3 based on cm11 is the best choice with ZD kernel, smooth especially when playing games but in RepeXpersiS Z3 there's lockscreen problem that when you lock your phone and unlock it right away it needs like 7-12 sec to appear, i switched my profile to performance but that problem still there!!!?

Yeah nothing is perfect, right? Im on stock right now, after trying many roms and I actually find it smooth and almost perfect for our device. Now Im just waiting for cm13 official and Stryflex MM. If I install a Lollipop rom, I choose only official cm12.1 or Stryflex.

First you should install cm11 (it's should be compatible with the version of RepeXpersiS Z2)
For example if you have FXP331 CM11 just flash it and start it normally then go to recovery again and flash the RepeXpersiS which is compatible with FXP331 cm11
i really wanted to install RepeXpersiS Z3 which required FXP347 CM11 but i really didn't find any link to download

I didnt install zd. But I bet it would give a better performance. After install cm11 and gapp you boot and do the set up at the start. Go recovery again qnd flash z3 edition. The boot after it shows you the lockscreen, just swipe up to unlock and do sony set up guide. It might be a bit laggy at first boot

about the errors that I had, I am more than glad to share them (I have a simple text file and write reminders there, to remember them and not "reinvent the wheel" every time)
For this one, PACROM, I think the only error was 'unsupported relloc 43', the cure is:

(for a long time, i thought the cure was WITHOUT_HOST_CLANG=true)

i must admit, the 6.0 roms are building 'more flawlessly' than the 5.1 variants....and it seems that 5.1s are not getting any more fixes.
i dont know if you are trying to build any but...i tried building cm12.1 for 2 weeks, with every possible combination of device tree and vendor (SonyAOSP/SonyCM/xperiadev/CM, sony vendor files/Benevolent) and there is no mobile data connection, any ideas?

Dear all,
We have Unofficial CM ROM for Samsung galaxy S5 G900H but there is some bugs in it major is Camera & Call audio
But we won't have now developer to continue this ROM so is there any other way to get rid out this major bugs with externally,
I means like other developers who gave falshable patch zip which contains some libs or app. We have 6.0.1 TW so can anyone tell me which lib files or anything else will help me.
Thanks in advance!!!
Major camera libs are libdpframeworks, libfeauterio, libcameracustom, libcameraparamsgr(I'm nor sure of the correct name of this one),libjpego.so
Libcamdrv,libcamalgo.
For audio the only I can think of is Libaudioprimarydefault.so.
PS if the camera still doesn't work I can give you a link of the camera fix made for my phone and you can compare it and replace your libfiles.
Also does your phone have a thread if so give me a link

BTW if this is a case of replacing files your dev would have fixed it, no?

So I moved from Xperia Z3C to Nexus 5 and now I`m happy with 7.1.1 Mokee on N5. And one thing I`m missing is InCall UI from my Xperia. Is it anyway to get InCall UI of Xperia on my N5??
P.S- I tried putting PhoneBook.apk (found at apkmirror) put system/app, and it`s not working at all. Always showing force close.

thanks man.
But I am not familiar with these stuffs. I hope somebody could make it for our N5.
The Sony UI probably needs the Sony framework to work which the N5 doesn't have.
Only way to get it may be to flash a XOSP ROM.

But the above guide is for AOSP and CM based rom. So, dun need Sony framework.( I think so ).
It's as close as we'll get on the N5. It's a replication of the Xperia interface but much more than just theming.

Did you flash the latest TWRP? Tried a full wipe of the system, data, cache?
Edit: I just flash the latest XOSP and XGapps onto my N5 with no problems using TWRP 3.03. ROM's dialler looks like a stock Google dialler.

I am ok with XOSP rom. The only thing I want is Sony Dialer and Sony InCallUI
Not sure how you could get the Sony dialler without the Sony framework.
I used to have a Sony phone and I wasn't that impressed with the Sony launcher. I much prefer a very simple interface.
