Hello XDA,
this is my try to port Paranoid Android 4.2 BETA 4 to the XT1033 (Dual SIM), it may work for XT1032 and XT1031.
This ROM is not tested by me, IDK of the ROM will even boot, so...
DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Tested, still not booting...

Changing from inspiration rom to speedmod kitkat
I rooted and flashed my ace plus for the first time recently, with inspiration rom v18.1, following all the steps given in this website. Now I feel like to use speedmod kitkat 4.4.2.

the link above does not encourage installing different kernel from speedmod kernel, I don't know anything about kernel too.

no jus flash the zip file in that thread and you will be on 4.4.2.. no need for any external resources

Solved my worries coz I don't have a second phone. Gonna try it later, thanks! :laugh:

In the new 2.5.1 is still there (as in the build 2.5) the delay when pictures are taken? and what about camcorder? We need videocam illusion as before?

Wifi is working fine.
Everything works in build 2.5.1 except video recording .
To fix camera flashlight install xposed installer n grant superuser access. Download and activate flashlight fix module and select hook flash and done.
FM radio works. Attach ur earphones.

I'd like to ask, is the kernel used for SpeedMod free to use on other ROMs? I've compiled Cyanogenmod 11 and am testing it right now. I PMed you guys for permission but didn't get a reply.
If I am allowed to use your kernel, I'll post my ROM. If not then it's okay.

try for that cm 11 kernel in the dev section by triprex, else seek permission from gigiu:fingers-crossed:

it is corruptd / crashed...{ google drive}
i have these bugs in the build 2.5...

Wat recovery and version u r using ??
Pls flash 5.5.0.4 cwm version. and flash the ROM. And for god sake pls do clean wipe b4 u install.
Wipe data factory reset
Wipe cache
Wipe dalvik
Wipe battery stats
Fix permission

I have a problem with the 2.5.1 version. When i am listening music via earphones, if I put the application (like spotify or any mucisplayer) to background (pressing home or return buttons) i have no more sound via earphones but directly via speakers
Could you help me plz ?

I have no problem when I press return or home. Music still on earphones. I deleted old omich player from system apps and installed new omich from play store as user app to get regular updates.
May b its fault with ur player. Or may b all these bug happens if u dont do clean wipe b4 new install.
Pls use cwm 5.5.0.4 to flash. I already faced many problems on 6.0.x.x version.

I am not sure but it was likely that could work, try to flash the cm12.1 version (remember to backup )

Stuck in bootloop for Resurrection Remix
I installed Resurrection Remix 5.4.0 and it worked fine. But after installing this Dolby digital plus for RR, it got stuck in a bootloop! :crying:
Did anyone face the problem before? Seems pophores had the problem, but no solution is given there. How can I fix the issue? I tried reinstalling the RR and still have the problem after installing the Dolby plugin. Can anyone please help me on this?

yeah same for me,I try the last update on RR it got bootloop.dev can fix it but we should wait for fixing it

sadly not working with DU
will test other roms, if I´m flashing them and report here...

I can confirm not working on Resurrection Remix on my Z2. Themes chooser "stops" when opening it from settings. I suppose probably thanks to the custom ROM. Ah well. Thanks for sharing this.

Thank you, even i tried to make it work on rr but ended up with same result on n900.

EDIT 2 : it is laggy when I'm inside the theme chooser (not when choosing per app theme), is it due to my phone or to the app ?

Hi guys,
To install Sony AR Effect camera,
Requirements:
1. Android(Tested upto CM13 i.e. Marshmallow.)
2. Custom recovery like TWRP, CWM installed.
Backup Important data in case any thing goes wrong.
Installation:
1. Reboot to recovery
2. Flash Xperia_Z2_Smart_Camera.zip(attached below)
It will automatically wipe cache and Dalvik Cache. No need to wipe manually.
3. Reboot. Boot will take some time, be patient.
4. Install AR effect_4.4.5.apk for lollipop and above(alternatively install latest from playstore) download from Google Play Store or G Drive

Well It should work in most ROMs like CM10,11,12,13, Stock ROMs, Lewa, Color OS. Please test and report here.

It will work with all brands. Samsung, LG, Redmi etc

I tested on Note 3 hlte with RR rom 5.7.4 but l ended in bootloop.

Sorry for your bootloop . please flash stock rom or restore your backup. But I haven't noticed a bootloop earlier on any of my devices. Its either AR camera work or do not work. Thanks for reporting anyway. Its Android 6??
