Hey all i got problem with my phone, and i have been searching for a solution for over 2 months and cant find any SO let me explain whats going wrong
I got a Samsung galaxy note 1 GT-N7000 (16 GB) okay not bad for an old phone
MY ROM is CM 12.1 (5.1.1) Lollipop Thats working good for now
The issue is That MY internal storage is divided into 2 partitions
1. Internal storage
Size = 1.97 GB
Free = 905 MB Notice i only have 2 games and 3 apps ONLY
2. Internal storage (also)
Size = 11.07 GB
Free = 6-7 GB
3. SD card really doesn't matter i have a bunch of cards that's not the issue
.So I know that the first internal storage is the device storage and apps and stuff like that and the second one is my media and file storage okay i got
so lets say my phone is compatible with a 2 GB game on play store a free to play game and when i download it, it downloads 650mb then the games opens and begins to extract the file into my 1.97 GB partition
the weird thing is that the 650mb that i downloaded is on my 11.07 GB partition ??????
SO if anyone have tried to fix this issue and got it working plz help me OUT im Dying HERE

USB storage = 1.52 GB
SD card = 8 GB
I want to play the game FIFA12 on my Phone. When i install the game the game will start updating and will say
"NOT enough space to store 1.6 GB data files" on my Phone . i tried to paste the data files of game into my external SD card but the game still say not enough space.
i tried Apps2SD but this program can move apps only from System Storage to USB storage....
so how can i use my 8GB SD card for playing HD games??

To do this, you will need to root for one thing. Your phone also may not be able to handle this game. I'd suggest heading over to the development forum for your phone here on xda. But once you obtain root, you still may be unable to do this.
Hello guys ! After I flashed CM 10.1 nightly on my Samsung Galaxy Tab II 7.0 My available device memory is like 5 GB. I have 8GB internal memory.. And right now i have 4.1GB used and 526 free .. even now i can't install games like Trial Xtreme 3 ?? It's only 50 MB game and i have 500 free but the device it's still saying

So 1rst - The device don't show the other 3 free GB
And 2cond - Even when i have 500 MB free the device don't let me install
P.S : I have flashed CM 10.1 nightly - same
Flashed Sungsonic™ HD v2 - same
And even if I try to move apps to my sd card there is

First of all u shud know that if u have an 8 gb tab u het only 4 gb of them free the others go to ram apps and other settings so u only having 5 gb is normal second of all did u use app2sd coz if u it fu*ks up ur device and u cant install any apks from internet or store so only solution is to factory reset but if u didnt use app2sd or any other apps like it u cuf open settings and clear google store cache and data
Note yhat if u used app2sd ot anyelse like gl 2 sd or link2sd it does as above plz u can only use either directorybind or foldermount

need help... Got new 16 gb sd card and partitioned with mini partition tool two primary partitions one is fat n other ext3. the second partition is of 1 gb size. My device is rooted. ......i hv link2sd installed and the appropriate settings like the default location of apps to be installed (first i tried external n then switched to automatic)...cache size increased to 50 mb......automatic linking of all apps..and now when i try to install whatsapp n other apps..always gives a msg out of space manage applications..... i hv minimal apps as the device shows near about 1.4 gb free out of 2 gb space still in internal memory and still not able to install any app pls help guys

i need help plzz ... i bought a cell phone samsung galaxy grand 2 sm g7106 and i have a problem with storage .. the phone shows two types of storage internal storage 8 gb and apps storage 2 gb.. so apps storage is almost full i can't download any new apps but the internal storage has 7.9 gb free.. so the question is how can i download apps or move apps to internal storage.. i'm so confused plz help ... my phone is made in korea by samsung... thanks

I just flash my TAB 2 7.0 p3110 with some STOCK ROM and now i have a problem!!
When i got tab i have 8gb memory but 4.3Gb i use the system
i want to flash to free space but now after flashing i GOT 4GB TOTAL !!!!!!!!!!!!
My ROM was JDQ39.P3110XXDNE1 Android 4.2.2
Now is diferent and android is 4.01
Can someone help me to find original ROM and can i back my memory to 8GB???

I finaly found 4.2.2 but now i have a diferent problem
Now the storage show only 4.95Gb internal memory when i connect with PC(4.05Gb of 4.95Gb)
Why that hapening? What i do now
When look in TAB it say 8Gb Free 4.29gb

NO NEED FOR SHOUTING, we can read you very well
8g is the total storage space in the tab. A big part of it is used by the system to store the os and you can use only the remainder (which is about 4g). If you need more space i recommend getting an external sd.
