Has anyone managed to get freedom ( the app) to work on lollipop or has a legit copy of the apk they could send me? I've tried getting it multiple times it I either has a problem were it can't install or it installs and just force closes every app I try using it on! If you have one please do me a favor and send me a legit link to it thanks in advance!! (Media fire, Dropbox, mega, something along those lines)

yes it is the same on my phone as well it gives parsing error. We need dev apk for it to work on lollipop.. unable to find the apk file .. if anyone knows or can post the dev apk file with latest freedom apk as well ... that would be great

Can't receive apk from other cellphones? Other files are OK.. but other files are denied .. does this have anything to do with certificates?or does this have a work around
used just two times and it works for me,
but i was using appmanager utility from jrummy, and codename rom
if i didn't get wrong... used share (by bluetooth) option instead of send (via bluetooth)

i tried a SE elm to send a apk file and still my nexus S rejects it, may be your stock rom has been tweaked already, maybe its embedded in the system... i dont know pls anyone help me out here ? it would be much appreciated and with my deepest gratitude
Maybe my own method can help you.
Change file's name on file explorer (ES, Root Explorer..anyway).
Bluetooth.apk to Bluetooth.jpg
Send Bluetooth.jpg via Bluetooth.
After sending progress is end, change jgp to apk and install it.
I usually use this method when my brother(Samsung Galaxy S, Korea model) gets a funny game.

i've been trying to fool the market so i can download that free app "bobsled calling" from the market because it doesn't support my device (u8180) for some reason
i know a friend has galaxy note who downloaded it so its not country related i guess...
i tried to patch my market apk. i tried market enabler. i tried the build.prop editing. every thing still cant get it i also tried to copy it from my friends galaxy note /system/app but it wasn't there which kinda weird
the app is free so its probably legal to ask
can any one please share the apk for me i'm dying to have it :/
and if u have any ideas how to fool the market to download incompatible apps beside what i mentioned please tell me xD

hi,guys.. i know all of you wanna create or mod an android apps and wanna use it or share.
i think newb like me already tried to change the image files from res folder of apk but the problem is edited apk files just dont install,it always say application not installed,the problem is the apk isn't signed,you have to sign it.. most of newb dont know how to sign apk. so here is an android app "ZIP SIGNER" it can sign your apk file. in this app just input your edited apk and chose output location and press Sign,and your apk will be signed. and you will be able to install your edited apk...... so try it.

i just checked 4shared link,its available. to download it from 4shared,1st you have to log in in 4shared and then click on this link.
this app is incompetible from market but the file i uloaded in 4shared is compitable.

Hey thanks a lot for sharing this app. Its such a coincidence with me,i was about to change my current rom(razodroid v4) because it could not update system apps as they were not signed properly. But i just thought of browsing through fits xda threads as i do everyday and i saw this thread. By using this app i signed my system apps and now they are updating properly . Thans for this very useful thread:good:

I'm in real need of the app "dScout", I cant find the APK file anywhere except for the market. I don't have service on my android phone because it's not my main phone so I cant download it straight from the market, can anyone with a leecher get it for me?

I have been modifying an old apk to try and publish it on the Google Play store. When I first uploaded it said it had a restricted signing or something so I unsigned it and resigned it with a program and then align it. This apk was the only one google will let me publish but it crashes. I have been using apk-signer. Does anyone know any other software that can do this or can anyone sign and align the apk for me. I spent 12 hours looking for tools to help but none did. If anyone can unsign and resign and align the apk for me please help. I cant post any links to the apk on xda so does anyone have any ideas on how to get the apk to you. If you think you can fix it for me private message me if that is possible on here. If you are interested in beta testing this when we fix it just leave a message.

Since you are aiming to publish apk on play store , you should have your own key . you have to sign the apk with that key either using android studio or eclipse.

I have no idea how to use those but for now I think I would be fine with any apk as long as it worked. I dont plan on updating it or anything so any key should be fine, I have my own keystore file but it crashes when I sign it.
