Random reboots and App crashes on Lollipop and Marshmallow - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm still facing random reboots and app crashes on my nexus 5 Marshmallow .Have already tried every other method but to no avail .I have replaced my power button still facing random reboots.Faced the same in lollipop as well but now reboots are more frequent in 6.0 .Phone suddenly reboots after I update any app .And then that specific app gets optimized. And this is not the case with only third party apps but also the Google apps .Then those random app crashes as well. So frustrating! And these problems started since the release of lollipop in 2014 and have never been able to fix it .Have already cleared cache and have already factory resetted so many times .And I don't think it's an hardware issue .Just yesterday I had gone to LG service centre and they downgraded my phone to Kitkat and phone worked flawless .No random reboots nor any app crashes . I had purchased the nexus 5 thinking that my phone will never feel old because of the updates .But really such a pathetic experience this has been .Anyway I have captured a bug report .Please let me know where should I mail it .Thanks !

Also forget to mention my phone reboots with the Lollipop/marshmallow logo and not the Google logo.

Phone reboots only when I'm using it .But when I play games even for hours it won't reboot .But in normal usage it reboots once in every 10 minutes in Marshmallow .This was the case with 5.0 too but later with all the Lollipop updates it reduced to twice a day

I facing same problem . After i remove WhatsApp everything is ok. I also looking for solution

[Q] Nexus 5 - Lollipop 5.0 - Screen Shaking

Hello XDA-Community!
Im having some trouble with my new Nexus 5. The screen randomly starts to "shake" sometimes when im using it. I dont know if i can explain it well ^^', if you search "Nexus 5 screen shaking" on YouTube you find similar results. But my Problem is not so hard like the Problem of them. Actually my Nexus 5 shakes sometimes when I turn it into Landscape mode or use an emulator (DraStic). It also happened once while i was trying out Minecraft on the Nexus. Mostly it works perfectly but if it happens, it annoys me. I dont know if that happened on previous versions^^, cuz when I received my Nexus, i just "restored" all Apps with that function that u get when you first turn on you'r device after typing in your Google Account. Then i just updated and updated. First to Android 4.4.2 i think, then to 4.4.3, then to 4.4.4 and then finally to Android 5.0 Lollipop. After every Update my Apps were "optimized" for the new Version, guess that's good. I tried to clear the Cache but nothing Special happened. I just hope that thats a Software Problem and not a Hardware Problem, due that Lollipop has some bugs now.
Could you help me fixing it^^, hope you can ;D!
Regards,
Felix

GT-i9500 Official Lollipop Stability Issues

Hello Guyz,
By now most of GTi9500 would have got the Lollipop Update. Did any of you guys faced the stability issue ? I am using the India Version of the same , which freezes sometime and sometime a bit of lag ,and sometime a crash reboot as well which I didnt face on KitKat. With 1 week Use, I faced crash reboot only twice, but lag issue appears often.
The issue is with most of the apps like FB, Flipboard, etc, for example, try flipboard with some pages flipped.
Seems when we got a new refreshing UI, the stability was affected.
Let me know your experience please.
Cheers,
KK

The firmware is quite stable if u keep it light. Theres a "ram leak" bug in Lollipop which causes crashes because the ram gets full. This bug exists in 5.0 and 5.0.1. Though I'm not sure if it exists in 5.0.2 if it does then google will probably fix it in 5.1 update.

[Help] Dozing glitch after Marshmallow update

Hiya!
Just updated to Marshmallow, pretty happy overall. Problem is - whenever my phone dozes, waking up takes longer (15 secs?) and produces artifacts on screen. No clue how to fix that. Any help here? Screenshot: http://m.imgur.com/WcrolaT )

Slow and buggy Note 4 after recent update

After watching a few YouTube videos on the Galaxy S8 I got a notification that my Note 4 had a software update. The conspiracy theorist in me genuinely tried to stop me updating in case this was the update that will bring me a whole load of annoyances in order to force me to update my phone, but I went ahead anyway and low and behold I've had major issues with my phone ever since.
Main issues are random crashes, slow response times (like a minute or so) and random reboots. Seems to happen mostly when I wake the phone up and the longer the phone has been in sleep, the worse the issues are.
I have done three factory resets, (even they were buggy and at times unresponsive, such as it not rebooting when it was supposed to) but the issue still persists. I have removed the SD Card (advice from another website) but it didn't help.
Current version of the update shows as being N910FXXS1DQC8 / N910FBTU1DPL1 / N910FXXS1DQA1
Am I right in thinking the only way to roll back the update is to root It and install a previous update? Would rather not do that and hope someone has some advice please.....
