Hello, and welcome to XDA!
Under normal circumstances, I would advocate for freezing the app instead of deleting it altogether, so if you get an OTA, you won't bootloop.
In this case, the camera apk (and odex) is found in /system/app. Make a backup of your system before proceeding (you will need a custom recovery like CWM or TWRP, may want to figure out where your recovery partition is stored as well, and make a "dd" backup of that partition even before that). Using a root explorer (or adb), move the file out of there, and then pull it to your computer for safe keeping (in case you need it later - e.g. you get an OTA, or maybe policies change and you want the full functionality of your phone back).
Any questions yolu may have about this (I covered a lot), can be asked in this thread:

Hope this helps, and good luck!

hello friends,i want you to help me.
I have installed bluestack and its rooted.I have installed an application "moolah" its an Indian app which gives recharges for the app downloads.
Now i want to completely delete it and also the apps i have downloaded from it,so that i can use the app like new and exploit it again.
steps i have tried:
1. normal uninstall with clear cache and data
2.searching for the app name in directory and removing some files which were not removed during uninstall
3.clearing the browser history(as it uses the tracking system to detect if the app is being downloded from moolah)
the only solution that worked for me is the BSmulti tool V1.21,but it takes a lot of time to reset BS and run again and register google id and stuff.
So basically i am looking for somebody to help me uninstall the apps moolah and the apps downloaded from it completely without using hard reset on BSmulti tool.
Any help will be appreciated, please ask more questions if more information is needed. Thanks in advance

I accidentally deleted camera and gallery apk from system/app and now I don't have a camera in my apps. All 3rd party apps show can't connect to camera.
Tried reflashing rom and tried different roms too but still no camera anywhere.
And please give me camera and gallery apk at least.

So you have a rooted device.
Then you may extract the needed apk files from the stock firmware.
Here are some stock firmware version for xour device: All Xolo Mobile Official Firmware & Flasher Only.
If it doesn't work, you may have to flash the ROM you have now again to get the deleted files back.
And next time, before removing any system files, please create a backup. Then you can always go back to this by restoring the backup (e.g. in a custom recovery).

Flashed rom multiple times but no use. Even Flashed various different roms but again no use. Sometimes on new rom camera comes for a minute then again icon vanishes and other apps also stop working.
my phone is rooted and i have a custom rom, but i broke it somehow and now i can't open settings, login to gmail to open google play, install any apk cause i can't open settings and for some reason i can't open CWM. i can open it with mobileuncle but i have no apps except the original ones! i have a backup of my original rom but i can't flash it. if i can only install that mobileuncle tool it would solve all the problems
Hi, thanks for using XDA Assist.
To solve your problem, you'd need to post in your forums help section

Make sure you post as much info as you can, so that users of your device can provide accurate answers.
Good luck.
so recently I accidentally wiped everything on my phone except TWRP. Then I managed to boot up the phone with liquid remix installed with android 9.0 and now my phone is missing the Samsung apps (which I want on my phone) how can I get them back is there a flashable file or any installable pack I really want them back
so if someone can help please tell me what to do I will really appreciate it
Aosp based roms and Samsung apps usually don't mix very well.
You could backup your Samsung apps using Titanium backup, then try to install them one by one in your android 9.
You could also Google for a site that has Samsung apps apk's.
Don't expect much success ?

I have the APK s I just can't download them to my device if you know how to install them can you help me or redirect me to someone else that knows what to do
I suppose you've enabled install apps from unknown sources in settings.
Try to install as you would any apk, i.e. open in file explorer.
As mentioned before, don't expect them to install anyway (maybe 1 out of 20??); most are not compatible with aosp roms.
For your aosp custom rom - look for similar gapps or apps from the app store or XDA.
It seems like on most roms for redmi note 10 ok google doesnt work from sleep. I tired all the methods and even installing google as system app which failed (says no enough space in the partition like priv-app folder and system/app folder ).
I am using elixir rom on android 12. I have tried downloading languages and other methods via the app itself. I was hoping if someone could help me on this I would really appreciate it.
since back in the day on my oneplus one I could just flash gapps via twrp but on android 12 I cant find a Gapps that has ok google enabled. I have been out of the loop for a while so I apologize for any mistakes. Thank you
don't install app as a system app.if you do that you phone will be slow.so don't do that.
you can force stop google assistance app and google app then try again
give all permissions to those two apps
check ok google works or not .if not try uninstall those two apps and reinstall those
if your problem sloved plese give a reaction.
if your problem not sloved please tell me
I have done all of those methods and can you tell my why will it be slow? I had no issues on my note 10 with it as system app.
