please help, I can not connect my phone to pc as usb mass storage (also with LG pc suite). when I connect usb cable and select turn on usb mass storage my pc is doing nothing, no driver installation, no do what? message and nothing new mounted in "my computer" ... knows anyone what do I have to do? please help ... I m also having this problem it seems that phones usb port is damaged or some problem with cable
Try to connet usb mass storage into recovery so might get to know that it is a software or hardware problem

Install the new LG USB driver. No need of any suite. Check cable and ports.

how to transfer a file from pc to nexus 5 without enabling USB debugging?
i connected the phone to my PC. In Phone MTP is checked. but i cannot transfer a file to my phone. i dont get any drive shown in my PC. but in
pc under hardware devices the nexus 5 phone is shown. Please help..
If i turn on USB debugging in phone, then a drive is shown in "This PC" i was able to transfer any file to phone from PC. but after copying some files and flashing some ROMS i internal storage became somewhat problematic. it doesnt show files properly. please help me with it

Remove PIN as security option and check
Also re-install the drivers properly
Also check whether it's working fine on other PC or not using different usb cable

Dear All,
I am having Micromax Magnus A117 mobile phone. It's working fine till now. Now a day I am facing one problem regarding USB connectivity.
Whenever I connect mobile phone to my laptop using USB cable, and choose the option of USB storage then only one drive i.e. Internal Memory is being displayed in the laptop. External Memory card is not shown. I had inserted Micro SD cardo 16 GB.
after disconnecting phone from laptop, apps that are installed in memory card is not shown. after rebotting the phone, again its working fine.
please resolve this issue

Its simple Bro, just you media transfer mode (MTP) instead of usb storage...

Hello! First of all thank you for creating the thread in the XDA Assist forum.
You need to reply me just three questions:
1. Which is your device?
2. Did you try with another USB storages to see if he recognizes it?
3. Did you download a file explorer to see if your USB OTG is recognized?

Hi !
Do you have the MTP drivers correctly installed for your device ?
Connect your device to a PC using the USB cable.
The device will automatically pop up as a USB computer connection. Tap Open the USB storage device.
If the USB computer connection does not pop up automatically, drag the Notification bar downward.
Choose the connected USB device and open USB storage. You will not be able to access the SD card in your device while the device is connected as USB storage. Set the SD card as USB mass storage to copy files between a PC and the SD card.

The problem in the phone ...cause i plugged the phone in many laptops and same problem ...
Is there any update or patch i can fix this ?
The only way i can fix is through recovery start up ....
My phone charging ampere is 400 ma after this bug
