Hello friend
Sorry for asking this again is it charging moto x play in 90 mins?if possible can you please test from 0 to 100% how much time it is taking.
Why i am asking is i boughgt a Transomart quick charge 2.0 charger it is taking 2 hours 3 mins to fully charge moto x play.
If the turbo charger did it in less time then i will return this product and buy the turbo charger.

Well I don't fully discharge my phone's battery. I usually charge it from 15% - 25% to 100% In approx 90 mins. It could be less or more as I don't measure the time with a stop watch. LOL 2 hours is still very fast compare to a stock moto charger. ?

I use Aukey PA-U28 QC 2.0
It is available on Amazon.in (Rs. 2000 approx.) and Aliexpress.com (Rs.1100 approx.)
It took around 90 Mins. to charge my X Play from 14% to 100.

My roommate bought a VIbe P1 and i used that to charge my device and it took the same time as my stock charger. I checked the ampere intake using 'ampere' app as well.. Using VIBE P1 am getting 1000-1500mah intake, which is the same as in case of stock charger

Here's a picture a took from the charger that comes with the Brazilian dual chip variant.
It's the official Moto G charger, but I guess it only comes with the Brazilian version.
So, your answear would 5,1V or 850mah

Not quite. It can't draw the current it needs if the charger is rated lower than what it needs. A 5v 500mA (0.5A) charger will take far too long to charge this phone or even not charge it at all if the phone is being used while connected to the charger.

Ye, this is the reason I actually asked, since I wanted to know what's the minimum mA.
Luckily, i recently found a white usb wall adapter and just checked and it is 1000mA(1A) so all good hehe :highfive:
According to Motorola Support anything between 500mA - 1.5A should be fine and higher values will be limited to 1.5A. I cant post links yet, but info was found on MotorolaSupport twitter.
I have been cross using my Nexus 7 (2012) and Samsung S4 with each other's charger all the time in the past, it didn't do any harm. Now I am using Nexus 7 charger to charge moto g

Any Motorola charger with the correct micro-USB tip will charge your Moto G. You will see the best results when the output of the charger is between 500 mA and 1.5 A. The higher the output, the faster your Moto G will charge.
If your charger output is higher, the MOTO G will automatically restrict the charging rate. If your charger is lower, it will simply take longer to reach a full charge.

According to Motorola, the Moto G will automatically restrict the charging rate to a maximum of 1500mA. Therefore, 2A chargers should only charge at 1500mA. This is within the allowable range listed on the Motorola support site for the Moto G. So, no direct damage to the phone circuitry or immediate damage to the battery should occur by using a higher amperage, faster 2A charger.
But, the latest official Motorola charger on the U.S. website is only 1200mA. Using a 2A charger to charge at the 1500mA maximum allowable rate may cause more long-term reduction in battery capacity than using the lower charging rate of 1200mA. See this other XDA post for my logic in coming to this conclusion ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2564158 ).
UPDATE and CORRECTION:
I have more authoritative information directly from Battery University that changes the conclusion I draw above based on my effort to extrapolate from the Battery University website article.
The extrapolation I did in the post listed above was based on the additional loss of long-term battery capacity cited when going from a 1C to 2C charging rate. But according to direct communication from Battery University, when charging at a rate below .7C there should be no measurable improvement to long-term capacity by using slower charging rates. Charging above .7C would still be expected to add more stress to Lithium Ion Polymer batteries and likely add to long-term reduction of capacity.
So, what this means for the Moto G and Nexus 5 is that there should be no measurable difference between charging with 2A, 1.2A, 1A, or 850mA chargers as far as effect on long-term battery capacity goes. Both the Moto G and Nexus 5 are supposed to automatically restrict the charge rate at 1500mA even when using a faster charger, which is just at or below .7C for both phones. So, as long as the charger dependably keeps to 5V, a higher amperage 2A charger will be faster but pose no problem to long-term capacity.
----------------
Using the 850mA charger referenced above as shipping in Brazil should be fine to charge with in about 2-3 hours. The only issue is that the phone would need to be turned off during charging in order to not take too long -- which is a good practice anyway.
The original charger that came with my phone has: 550 mA.
Ok to leave a phone on charger overnight

550 mA charger is fine for Moto G, it will just take longer (like 3-4 hours). If your charging over night than it's not an issue. Just plug it in and leave it on over night. The Moto G will automatically stop charging when it is complete. Only advice I've seen, is that it is not good to leave a phone on the charger for long periods (e.g. over 24 hours).

Yes. I have an iPad charger and I use it with my Moto G. I haven't tested how long it lasts exactly, but it's very quick, as expected.
Could someone tell me the time to recharge the battery with the original charger from about 20- to 100%?
My mate 7 takes slightly longer than 4 hours ... it seems to me a lot because the charger delivers 2 A / h, so I think in just over two hours the phone should have the 4100 mA battery charge.
Thank you.
Mine takes close to 3hrs to recharge from 5% to 100%.

Are you using the same cable that came with the phone? Bad quality cables will slow charging down. If you want to replace your stock one with a longer one, make sure you get a USB cable that is made from 28/24 gauge wire.

Samsung isn't "Quick Charge". It's their own knockoff/brand/flavor of the same concept.
So Samsung chargers won't work with any other brand phones, and you can't get a Quick Charge with a Samsung phone. Kind of annoying of them, but I guess they're free to do what they want.

you can go to nearest service centre and demand for a turbo charger ( 12 volt output ) and you to buy it. even im facing same problem
Can some one provide a link for turbo charger for x play and if theres no link can someone tell me its price?
Just buy any charger that can provide 2.4a on a single port. All chargers have ampere rating information mentioned in their box. If they have multiple USB ports, you need to divide the max ampere with them. I prefer single USB port because it's easier to identify and be sure
Tronsmart, Qualcom Quick charge 2 compatible - about £7.99p at Amazon perfect ?
I have bought this charger from aliexpress - http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Auke...ravel-Charger-2-Port-5V-2-4A/32378937532.html
And when I connect, it successfully shows turbo charger is connected, But I have a doubt that its not charging fast!
How much time does it take to reach 50% from 10% battery? To reach 100% its taking more then 2 and half hours. Phone is switched on and mobile data and wifi is off while charging!

download ampere app and monitor the charge. from 0%-50% the phone should be getting 2.4A. if it's not, get a different usb cable, a good quality one. you can tell a good usb cable if it's not easy to roll, meaning that it's made with thicker metal.

Hi all, I just received 2 Aukey quick chargers. Found them on ebay worldwide from a seller in China. Got both for under AU$40 delivered. They have Euro 2 pin plug, but came with Aussie adaptors. And they work amazing. Phone shows turbo power.

I just got a wireless charger, this kind of weird off-brand:
New poster so can't link. Search Amazon for "Yootech 7.5W/10W/15W Fast Wireless Charger with Cooling Fan,7.5W Wireless Charging Stand with QC3.0 Adapter Compatible iPhone 11/11 Pro/11 Pro Max,15W LG V30/V35/G8,10W Galaxy Note10/S10,Pixel 3/4XL" It's about $22.
I bought it because it supports up to 15W and comes with a charger. Anyway, I put the device on the charger and I'm seeing 13.2W consistently:

This is both cool and kind of unsettling to me. Is the charger violating specs and sending more power than the Pixel 4 XL can take or can the phone take more power than the 11W advertised?

Phone can take more than advertised.
Pixel Stand charges mine at that rate.
I might have seen 15w once too.
Maybe it's 13.2 watts from the charger, but the pixel only gets 11 watts. Not sure what the loss is but it's not 1 to 1.
The wireless charger for the car I got gets to that level but it seems to cause the phone to run hot. once it reaches 104 F it stops charging. I have had to reposition the charger to the AC vent to circulate air and sometimes for the AC to cool it so it'll keep charging. Is it better to get a wireless charger that doesn't output that much power?

Just bought that one for my daughter, so that's good to know it charges that fast.
To be honest, I don't trust Inware's reported power draw anymore. I dropped my phone onto an old Tylt 5W pad and the app reported 8.4W, up to about 10W at one point. I seriously doubt that the pad is able to do that and suspect that it's misreporting. What other apps do people use to measure charge rates?
I bought the latest version of this charger. Amazon has 5 SKUs for this. 2 older models, one with charger, one without. 2 newer models. one with charger, one without. Finally a black version which I can't tell if it's new or not.
The updated version I bought for my Pixel 4XL shows charging at 10W using Inware. That's fast enough for me.
I am guessing that for the Pixel to say fast charging it has to reach 18W? The only time I have seen it say fast is plugged in with fast compatible chargers.
I have to say this version feels premium and fancy. Very nice.
One last thing, gave up having my mini wallet attached to the back of the phone. Not even the Google Wireless stand can maintain good contact for it to charge. On my previous Samsung i had no problems charging with the wallet attached with 3 cards in it. No luck with the Pixel.

Nevermind. For some reason I thought this was about a car charger
