Open a Root Explorer and go to /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/bin
Do you have there:
- app_process
- XposedBridge.jar
- XposedBridge.jar.newversion
If not then download the ZIP file in the attachment, extract it (non flashable zip) and put it there with these permission:
- app_process: rwx------ or 0700
- XposedBridge.jar: rw-r--r-- or 0644
- XposedBridge.jar.newversion: rw-r--r-- or 0644
Force Close Xposed Installer and Installthe Framework. If that don't work then I'm sorry, I can't help you.
But you can make that Question in this Forum

Try to move app_process manualy to /system/bin with this permission: rwxr-xr-x or 0755
NOTE: But before that make a backup of the original app_process or better a Nandroid Backup of the /system partition! You can stuck in a Bootloop! Good Luck

I'll try tnks

Any Help???

Sorry about the API/SDK mismatch.
Seen that the new FW is not compatible with xposed.
On my StratOS rom the exposed is working ok, )v 2.6.1 stable 20.5.14 try to test experimental 2.7
So if any1 could give original app_process binary and xposedbridge.jar of that new FW and FW info !
Saw that the xp changes are not active.
Regards.

accidentally deleted system UI. on rooted tranformer tf700 4.2.1 I'm missing the status bars and home key etc... I assume I need to re-install the apk. Can someone post or send it to me... I would greatly appreciate it. I have a keyboard so I have limited functions... probably enough to get it installed.
thx!

OK in the attached zip you need to extract it to your sd and then copy the 2 files SystemUI.apk and SystemUI.odex into the /system/app folder and then set the permissions as 644 or rw-r--r--
Good luck!

You need to make sure you give esfile explorer root permissions. First turn on root explorer in tools on the left and then hit the word root explorer and set everything to RW - it'll work then.

I was able to get the files moved with ROM toolbox and get the permissions set but it will still not install? Any ideas?

You will need t reboot if you haven't already....
Other option is download the full rom from the ASUS website, unzip to the root of your internal sd and let that flash from stock recovery. You'll lose everything but it will get you back up.

Might be a good idea to copy it into /system, set permissions, then overwrite the original framework-res.apk.
Some people get into trouble with permissions and aren't capable of fixing the situation via adb lol.

Cool! Thanks. i changed permissions and then overwrote the framework-res.apk and holy force-close city! lol. So I turned it off and back on. Had a few force closes on boot with google play services until I got a message to re sign in. Seems to be back to normal now and tethering works!

Yeah, you want to replace framework-res.apk via recovery. If you do it whilst the phone is on, you lose all accounts on your phone (as you just did)...
Doesn't the exposed mod still work on 4.4.2, it does on sprint

It doesn't check with VZW
I still just use the wifi_tether_v3_4-experimental1.apk from https://code.google.com/p/android-wifi-tether/
and change device profile to Samsung Galaxy Nexus (cdma/lte)
check box: wifi-driver reload
check box: enabled routing fix
If you have troubles, its also suggested to...
check box: wifi-driver reload 2
(per -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2449534 )
I had been using on 4.4, but its working on 4.4.2 also.

What does it take to revert this to prepare in the event of an OTA update? Thanks! Also will it with with non rooted v unlocked bootloader running cwm recovery? Can't have root for work email.

You would just need a stock framework-res.apk to revert back for OTA updates. It will work with/without root, but you need something to be able to get it into /system/framework/

I am able to copy out the stock framework-res.apk externally, So if I flash this zip through cwm or twrp, I should be fine without root, right? Then when the next OTA comes I just install the stock apk, through say the downloads folder? Or will that not work?

Hi There, thanks for the zip! Can you help me with creating a flashable zip to restore the framework-res.apk that blocks tethering? Weird request, I know, but my company requires that our phones be unrooted for our email application to work. I am unlocked running CWM recovery on my DE Moto X, but I tried unzipping your file, inserting the stock .apk back and zipping it back up and flashing it failed. Can you help? Thank you!!

The reason I ask, is purely for OTA purposes.

unzip, insert original framework-res in framework folder, select both system and META-INF folders, right click and send to zip file. That should work.

Did you unlocked your bootloader?
Or
Just create new file in that directory, named "enable" without ", then set value to 0, and try to mount ..
OP, please add "unlocked Bootloader" under requirements?

Hi guys if my response is too late PM me on Facebook : facebook.com/nasidik.007
Thx in advance
Init.d gets disabled on boot ;_; dammit....
Just saying there is no more need to to this since kernel with RIC disabled is already out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...2303-cwm-based-recovery-6-0-4-6-root-t2884503
Supported devices: D2303 (LTE), D2305(SingleSim)
Just flash the kernel and install zip.
That's great work you do. You need unlocked bootloader?
Sent from my D2303
Yup you have to unlock your bootloader. If you are fearing that you will lose TA partition, why not downgrade to JB, root and backup TA, then upgrade to Kitkat then unlock the bootloader, flash the kernel, get root and restore TA partition
@vusun123 Thanks for tips but unfortunately I can't, have bootloader unlock No

Hello , I have deleted Camera App defaut and when i try to reinstall it , failed , so please help me with flashable file or anything to do please
If you have the original apk it's enough to copy that file into /system/priv-app/ and give it 644 permission, then reboot and it's done.
