VR for Note 5? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note5

I see that Bestbuy released the VR for S6 and S6 edge...wtf. Where is ours?

Those are the old ones. The new VR which will support Note 5 as well as many other phones is rumored to be released in November. They are supposed to cost $99 as opposed to the $199 you'd have to pay now. But to be honest, they are no different than the $30 sets you can get off amazon. Unless they come with more bells and whistles on release.

Contract extension coming up soon! Galaxy SIII worth $150 more than Nexus?

I would sell my current phone (Droid X2) for $100 thus giving me a $50 profit if I get the Nexus. What would you choose and why?
Galaxy Nexus:
*Still be flagship google phone
*Updates everywhere
*CHEAPER (300% CHEAPER)
*Not too much differences between Dual Core and Quad..
I was thinking the Galaxy Nexus as well.
I was thinking the Galaxy Nexus as well. I have [2x] Droid X2's and I can sell both for $100 each, if I get the Nexus I will be profiting $150 give or take. I will most likely go for the Nexus.

AT NOW, i think it's ur best choice
Yeah thanks for the input, plus the development is already there for the Nexus might as well go for it.
I am also love the Samsung galaxy nexus.
Would you consider buying a G Nexus for $350 and going pre-paid?

Android phones on Straight Talk

So I want to buy an unlocked Android GSM phone to use on Straight Talk with an AT&T compatible SIM I will purchase from Straight Talk.
I am confused with phone pricing. How can the Galaxy Nexus be only $350 direct from Google, but older phones, even some that are a couple of years old, are going for quite a bit more than that on eBay USED? I would like to spend under $200 if possible for a Samsung Galaxy S or newer but everything is expensive on ebay.
Is there a better place to get used phones than ebay/Craigslist?
Swappa.
Although the Play Store Nexus is a fantastic deal for a new in box Nexus.

Craigslist is your friend then.

What is going to happen to all the Galaxy Nexus' that are in stock?

So Google pulled the Galaxy Nexus off the play store now that the Nexus 4 has been announced. It was not like the Galaxy Nexus was out of stock, so what are they going to do with the remaining that was in inventory?
Probably put them on sale through retailers.
I was thinking that they are going to put it back up sometime after the LG is up for sale to avoid for everyone ignoring the LG and going with the cheaper alternative
There has to be some system in place between the manufacturers and the carriers.
I would t be surprised that when the phones cost $0, that the manufacturers give the phones to the carriers for some type of deal.

Nothing really. The Nexus 4 is definitely a step up but not by that much. Look at how cheap it is to buy off contract. Says it all really. It can live happily with the G Nexus. It's basically the same but LG. £280 for the 16GB version in the UK is a ****ing steal.
Hopefully there is a decent sale for them at retailers. Wouldn't mind picking one up at the right price.

Exact reason why I am asking. Would retailers be selling them off contract though?
Depending on price I wouldn't mind picking up a Galaxy Nexus instead of the new N4...

[Q] Looking to buy the Nexus 5

I am looking to buy the Nexus 5. Not now but in march of 2014, do you think this will still be considered a higher-end device then? I am stuck in a Verizon contract until then and plan on switching to t-mobile. Any answers will be very appreciated.
No one can answer this. We'll just have to wait till March of 2014. By then the HTC one 2 and s5 will come out so who knows.

Buy it if you want the phone, it's relatively cheap. If you're planning on setting up a T-Mobile postpaid account, then since you are bringing your own device you will be considered "upgrade eligible" and able to purchase another device on their contract/nocontract/subsidized pricing plans if something strikes your fancy in the meantime. If nothing else comes out that you like, then enjoy the Nexus 5 until the Nexus 6 comes out and then put it up on the resale market. No, you won't get all of your money back, but you'll get some of it back.
Personally, I'm exceedingly happy to be back on a Nexus device due to the fast updates, and community support that generally gravitates around these types of devices. I am love with my Nexus 5. I've gotten set up on the $30/mo T-Mobile prepaid plan, and so far, I've been very satisfied.
FYI, could be worth the early termination fee in cost savings. Friend of mine just paid an ETF and will still realize savings in 3 months. That is coming from Verizon.
Worth looking into!

Thanks for all the replies, i guess i will just wait until march considering i just bought a galaxy nexus.

Thinking about the Note 8, special offers?

Thinking about getting a Note 8 on AT&T under the next program.
Any deals I should know about? My friend just got one and also got a Samsung watch as part of the deal or maybe he got a credit that paid for one, something like that.
Thanks!
I believe ATT has a BOGO going on right now.
I would check to see if they are still offering the trade in for $300 credit. About a month ago, I was able to take advantage of the BOGO and stack trading 2 older devices for 600 in credits. May be gone but worth asking.

But you need to be ex-owner of Note 7
On Edge of Note
Not true at all. The 300 trade in credit was an AT&T deal. I've never owned a note 7. I traded in a LG k10 and a nexus 6p for 600 total.

I got $300 for my old note4 but I had note 7. Other wise they will give me just $94.

Looks like there is a $400 trade in option on Shop Samsung right now. Only good for 3 days.

I don't have anything to trade in, I don't need two of them.
I was hoping to get in on that $300.00 dollar promo and get a Samsung watch but that ended. I was hoping they might have something coming up for Black Friday other than a Bogo. I'm one person, I don't need two phones LOL
